Every time I watch these women, I am profoundly arrested by the love and respect and support they show one another. Gorgeous reminder of the good stuff.
Fruition is by far my favorite The Wild Reeds song. Just tremendous. I believe Sharon described it as a lullaby into panic back into a lullaby again. Absolutely beautiful.
I saw them live at Terminal 5 in New York City with Shakey Graves and they were phenomenal! I am now a fan. Their harmonies and intensity was a complete 180 from the seemingly soft grunge mood. They performed like champions fighting in a gladiator ring. I love it, Rock on ladies!!!
Is it possible to fall in love with all the members of a band? One of the greatest bands of contemporary American music, without a doubt! Honestly, I doubt that they'll ever come to Brazil :( .. I better start saving some money to visit them in the US!
Great band, great sounds, great studio-atmosphere, great KEXP, ...!!! Once again: my congratulations and best wishes - love & peace on earth ... See you.
Jesus tapdancing christ they're good. I've listen to Fruition more than 5 times at work today and it blows my mind. I listened to their album today and it sounds more toned down. I think i'd rather listen to this recording or see them live.
saw the Reeds in Fairfield CT last night. wow. so good. All 3 so talented and each of the unique to make up an amazing combo. come back to CT soon. please.
Great vocals, melodies, and musicianship, but the last couple of times I've listened to them I've been struck by the quality of the songwriting as well. Intelligent lyrics from a unique perspective without falling into the "too clever" trap. Between Tiny Desk Concerts and KEXP performances I'm becoming a big fan.
Just saw a link where Rolling Stone called them "country" and "for fans of the Mandrell Sisters." What? lol They seem to be plopped in the indie-folk category (where they put bands that can't be nailed down) but I hear a lot of different influences, including Velvet Underground/Nico. Wonderful sound and a great voice, regardless. Thanks again KEXP :)
Damn! At 2:40 I heard a perfect repeat of the Staves (who I love totally and completely). But the Reeds have much more bite and edge. I like that. My new follow them band.

They're the greatest band that most people have never heard of.
freaking, beautiful.
I keep coming back to this, I miss the Wild Reeds😞
Fruition is by far my favorite The Wild Reeds song. Just tremendous. I believe Sharon described it as a lullaby into panic back into a lullaby again. Absolutely beautiful.
Lovely rock' n 'roll ladies. I come back often to this session. They are very good.
Aw I love them!
Fruition is just mindblowing. One of those "once-in-a-few-years" songs you need to hear repeatedly over several weeks, right after the first time..
The moment the frontwoman sang the first line, I was sold. Holy feck, how have I been without this in my life?!
Oliver Cant check out their tiny desk concept. Same thing happened to me
Almost 2 years later, I'm still coming back to this.
thank you kexp
this last song... holy cow! goose bumping all over my body. thank you Wild Reeds and thank you KEXP!!
21:45 It starts so "little" and ends so "BIG"... F A A N T A S T I C
Her smile is massive. One of the most contagious I've ever seen.
Fruition is one of the most moving and profoundly deep songs I've heard in a while. Tears! Bravo!
Their harmonies are out of this world !!!
Love when the Host's are fans of the band. Great show
indeed. great job.
Fantastic! These ladies should be a lot more famous.
The sound they're getting from those three guitars all at once is so GNARLY

Transcendent vocals, feels so healing right now.
her voice resinates deep inside my heart. Her lyrics so pure and deep,i would trust the water from her well.

This Fruition performance leaves me speechless! So good!!!
I always want to hear a ten minute guitar jam from these people. Nicky P is the perfect bass player for Jonesy's drumming.
Wow, these blow my mind
Thank you KEXP for bring ur great music, as usual
Thanks for the great music and harmonies. Amazing music, beautiful and powerful. Cam
I just love how KEXP shares the great music going on behind our backs. Also feeling a bit of First Aid Kit in there...

Really liked the last song, and their sound as a whole.
Jesus tapdancing christ they're good. I've listen to Fruition more than 5 times at work today and it blows my mind.

You know who you are, don't let the probes throw you. Will always support you, no matter what.
Such a powerful performance. They are the real human beings.
Jaw dropping. Why had I not heard this sooner?
I don't know if it's because I'm Italian but I have no words to describe your talents
Wow wonderful sound, great music! Compliments to this band.

so great!
dope all these small artists that make all this lighthearted music for all the right reasons
Just saw a link where Rolling Stone called them "country" and "for fans of the Mandrell Sisters." The album before the one these songs are from is much less indie rock. I'd also call it their best
Fell in love with the keyboard girl
Absolutely love this!!
Really good band!!

So hope this amazing band is not done. The quality of songwriting and the chemistry of these three women is transcendent.
