Dear VISHAL DADLANI, Sonu never said that the contestants lip sync. He said that only corrected singing performances are aired. Which means that if the contestants sing badly then they are made to sing again and again till they get it right and then it’s aired. Which is obviously an unfair practice
Umm, this is true. I've seen this myself when i sat in the audience once, and i was a bit surprised. If a contestant doesn't sing properly, they're allowed to sing again to get it right. But that's precisely why these shows are not aired live and i don't know if this is done for everyone or specific people they want to promote in the show.

There was a time when there used to be singers like Sonu Nigam, KK and Shan who could sing in different notes and pitch level. Today, most singers sing like bathroom singers. Especially that cry baby.
You are 100% correct about promoting the liked ones! We have seen this with Arijit Singh! He lost the competition but he struggled to become No.1 singer of India! But since, the programme have become a business, they will not show the faulty singing. In American Idol also, they wont show all flop performances.
Bollywood is just mad that Sonu Nigam is taking a stand against the bureaucratics that go on behind the scenes that we the public never see on screen. If you know Sonu's nature as a person and how highly he thinks of singing (and music in general), you know everything he's exposing is the truth. But judges of the shows don't want to loose their big amount of money being paid to them. So they don't mind shouting yes sir, yes sir, two bags full sir. Sonu Nigam went throught nepotism like Sushant Singh Rajput too. He said very true things, he didnt said artists lip synt, that "takla" is blatantly lieing. Sonu said, what we hear on tv is recorded, corrected version, lip sync is different. Also, Indial Idol lip syncs are caught many times in past.
Imagine if there is another Sonu Nigam out there in current generation ... BUT ... Thanks to the politics and nepotism, he may never be discovered. In a way, Sonu Nigam was probably very lucky to have started his career back in 90s rather than in late 2000s.
It takes a lot of guts to expose these things. Indian Idol has come up with some good artists but I believe what Sonu Nigam says. A paid judge will always try and safeguard his interests. I am with Sonu on this one - First few seasons of Indian Idol were super good - where Judges were Judges and they were honest. They were doing a service to Music industry. Now days, it is all DRAMA - Now it has become more like Aketa Kpoor show rather Indian Idol.
It's a real fact. The singers of average voice quality is being promoted in these types of shows. All are manipulated. when you record a song do you record a faulty performance or is the singer allowed to sing again and correct his mistakes? It doesn't happen in all performances only those who sing really bad due to nervousness are allowed to correct themselves by singing again.. and obviously they sing better than others, it's not like you can modify the voice of that participant, it's his/her real voice and most of the times, it's the first take only. Like I said those who sing really bad or not upto minimum standards are allowed to sing again n correct their parts. or drama hota hai yes i agree, fake stories bhi dikhayi jati hain participants ki to gain TRP, it's true

The actors manipulate people in such a way that they tend to be very much innocent whereas one of the greatest artist like "Sonu Nigam Ji" aren't given chances anymore. His dedication is such that he hasn't shoved the reality to his throat but has enlightened us with the reality. And I can bet on it that "Sonu Nigam Ji" is unbeatable at singing and this is what happens when you're too talented and gifted.

Sonu Nigam sir is a great artist. He is one of the melodious gems of our music industry. It's good to see him being vocal about the degradation of entertainment shows. But there is a bigger issue of PLAGIARISM in Bollywood. And he is the witness of it for last 3 decades. He should come forward and speak about it also.

Vishal’s exchange with Danish indicates Vishal is talking about what the judges are able to hear. Judges may be hearing the actual raw singing from each singer with all the flaws based on which they judge. However, in the end, the finished version of the show that the TV audience hears may not have the raw singing. It would be the edited and corrected version of the songs from each singer. I think that would explain why and how both Sonu and Vishal may be right in their own way.
This is true I was taken admission in the Indian idol institute and at time of admission they gave you a registration number which will help us in the auditions in future and the people who doesn't has that number they are simply not qualified chahe wo kitna bhi acha ga kyuna lem this is true.

I was selected in IGT 2018, but I opted out of the scene because of the dirty reality. I was asked if I had any sad stories, no I didn't have any, so I along with my other mates who had been selected were asked to provide them with a sad story that will take up People's emotions in India. Also, there lie more hidden truths that I don't wanna reveal, being at the growing stage in my field. But friends, Talent Shows in India are definitely not worth your time and importance. I believe that if you have talent and you know how to achieve your goals, then no one can stop you from achieving them. It might take you another year extra but it will be worth it. DREAM BIG! WORK HARD! WORK IN SILENCE!

Sonu is right. I’ve watched Indian idol from season 1, it changed too much. Still it’s better than other channel’s singing shows, but it’s become a lot of fake drama now.. 1st season was unbelievably amazing and natural.
Look at Neha Kakkar, ask her to sing any songs sung my Asha ji, Lata ji, Anuradha ji, Alka Ji, She will fail miserably but she runs the industry as its top singer

when you record a song do you record a faulty performance or is the singer allowed to sing again and correct his mistakes? It doesn't happen in all performances only those who sing really bad due to nervousness are allowed to correct themselves by singing again.. and obviously they sing better than others, it's not like you can modify the voice of that participant, it's his/her real voice and most of the times, it's the first take only. Like I said those who sing really bad or not upto minimum standards are allowed to sing again n correct their parts.

Both Sonu Nigam and Vishal may be correct as I see. Sonu is talking about what the audience watching the TV shows from their homes may be seeing is the edited version of the song. Vishal’s exchange with Danish indicates Vishal is talking about what the judges are able to hear. Judges may be hearing the actual raw singing from each singer with all the flaws based on which they judge. However, in the end, the finished version of the show that the TV audience hears may not have the raw singing. It would be the edited and corrected version of the songs from each singer. I think that would explain why and how both Sonu and Vishal may be right in their own way.

I was selected in IGT 2018, but I opted out of the scene because of the dirty reality. I was asked if I had any sad stories, no I didn't have any, so I along with my other mates who had been selected were asked to provide them with a sad story that will take up People's emotions in India. Also, there lie more hidden truths that I don't wanna reveal, being at the growing stage in my field. But friends, Talent Shows in India are definitely not worth your time and importance. I believe that if you have talent and you know how to achieve your goals, then no one can stop you from achieving them. It might take you another year extra but it will be worth it. DREAM BIG! WORK HARD! WORK IN SILENCE!

Which Sonu Nigam said about Indian Idol is absolutely right. Now a days every people knows the dirty scenarios of such reality shows. Now reality show never respect a good singer. Some judges like Neha kakkar without having proper knowledge of singing do drama instead of actual Judgement.

J went to indian idol and saw many things. If you don't believe sonu go for auditions once. There you will find two secs - singers and another comedian. Reality is what sonu said
