Dear VISHAL DADLANI, Sonu never said that the contestants lip sync. He said that only corrected singing performances are aired. Which means that if the contestants sing badly then they are made to sing again and again till they get it right and then it’s aired. Which is obviously an unfair practice
Umm, this is true. I've seen this myself when i sat in the audience once, and i was a bit surprised. If a contestant doesn't sing properly, they're allowed to sing again to get it right. But that's precisely why these shows are not aired live and i don't know if this is done for everyone or specific people they want to promote in the show.

But judges of the shows don't want to loose their big amount of money being paid to them. So they don't mind shouting yes sir, yes sir, two bags full sir. There was a time when there used to be singers like Sonu Nigam, KK and Shan who could sing in different notes and pitch level. Today, most singers sing like bathroom singers. Especially that cry baby.

Sonu Nigam went throught nepotism like Sushant Singh Rajput too. He said very true things, he didnt said artists lip synt, that "takla" is blatantly lieing. Sonu said, what we hear on tv is recorded, corrected version, lip sync is different. Also, Indial Idol lip syncs are caught many times in past.
It takes a lot of guts to expose these things. Indian Idol has come up with some good artists but I believe what Sonu Nigam says. A paid judge will always try and safeguard his interests. Why don't he expose this hard hitting facts when he was judge of those musical shows. Only when he was out of judges league then comes the expose part. Someone becomes whistle blower when you doesn't receive the share of your scam.
It's a real fact. The singers of average voice quality is being promoted in these types of shows. All are manipulated. I was selected in IGT 2018, but I opted out of the scene because of the dirty reality. I was asked if I had any sad stories, no I didn't have any, so I along with my other mates who had been selected were asked to provide them with a sad story that will take up People's emotions in India. Also, there lie more hidden truths that I don't wanna reveal, being at the growing stage in my field. But friends, Talent Shows in India are definitely not worth your time and importance. I believe that if you have talent and you know how to achieve your goals, then no one can stop you from achieving them. It might take you another year extra but it will be worth it. DREAM BIG! I am with Sonu on this one - First few seasons of Indian Idol were super good - where Judges were Judges and they were honest. They were doing a service to Music industry. Now days, it is all DRAMA - Now it has become more like Aketa Kpoor show rather Indian Idol.
You are 100% correct about promoting the liked ones! We have seen this with Arijit Singh! He lost the competition but he struggled to become No.1 singer of India! But since, the programme have become a business, they will not show the faulty singing. In American Idol also, they wont show all flop performances.
I don't think Sonu Nigam ji has said anything wrong, all this drama has been going on for some time now it has become a TRP game, it is a big loss for the music.
This is what actually happens when truly tremendous people like "Sonu Nigam Ji" bring out the truth. The actors manipulate people in such a way that they tend to be very much innocent whereas one of the greatest artist like "Sonu Nigam Ji" aren't given chances anymore. He just told tht if some contestant haven't sung well they correct tht part of the song in studio...listen carefully wht he said.. when you record a song do you record a faulty performance or is the singer allowed to sing again and correct his mistakes? It doesn't happen in all performances only those who sing really bad due to nervousness are allowed to correct themselves by singing again.. and obviously they sing better than others, it's not like you can modify the voice of that participant, it's his/her real voice and most of the times, it's the first take only. Like I said those who sing really bad or not upto minimum standards are allowed to sing again n correct their parts. or drama hota hai yes i agree, fake stories bhi dikhayi jati hain participants ki to gain TRP, it's true

This is my personal view Word "Reality" should be removed from Singing, Dancing shows as they have become daily soaps. They are running for 9 months, 10 months. No eliminations, no critical judgements and now they have started to promote nepotism. If viewers have to vote and decide who will win there is there a need for judges?

This broke my heart but still I sang with my lungs out and at last I cracked all the papers in India. Thank you Anu Malik Ji and Rakhi Sawant Di for your motivation.
I was selected in IGT 2018, but I opted out of the scene because of the dirty reality. I was asked if I had any sad stories, no I didn't have any, so I along with my other mates who had been selected were asked to provide them with a sad story that will take up People's emotions in India. Also, there lie more hidden truths that I don't wanna reveal, being at the growing stage in my field. But friends, Talent Shows in India are definitely not worth your time and importance. I believe that if you have talent and you know how to achieve your goals, then no one can stop you from achieving them. It might take you another year extra but it will be worth it. DREAM BIG! WORK HARD! WORK IN SILENCE!

I am with Sonu on this one - First few seasons of Indian Idol were super good - where Judges were Judges and they were honest. They were doing a service to Music industry. Now days, it is all DRAMA - Now it has become more like Aketa Kpoor show rather Indian Idol.

You are 100% correct about promoting the liked ones! We have seen this with Arijit Singh! He lost the competition but he struggled to become No.1 singer of India! But since, the programme have become a business, they will not show the faulty singing. In American Idol also, they wont show all flop performances.

He just told tht if some contestant haven't sung well they correct tht part of the song in studio...listen carefully wht he said.. when you record a song do you record a faulty performance or is the singer allowed to sing again and correct his mistakes? It doesn't happen in all performances only those who sing really bad due to nervousness are allowed to correct themselves by singing again.. and obviously they sing better than others, it's not like you can modify the voice of that participant, it's his/her real voice and most of the times, it's the first take only. Like I said those who sing really bad or not upto minimum standards are allowed to sing again n correct their parts.

Word "Reality" should be removed from Singing, Dancing shows as they have become daily soaps. They are running for 9 months, 10 months. No eliminations, no critical judgements and now they have started to promote nepotism. If viewers have to vote and decide who will win there is there a need for judges?
