I was likely to meet Stan last Friday. Great Man He did not get me on video but I got Stan roning in. Stan looks beder to Me now after his wight lost. Stan the man someone knocking on is door in IOWA. God Blessing for Stan, Sasnak, great videos steel loooking for Your Video 200 of Sasnak -06-10-2019. Thanks Stan
Had a 379 that same color or close (think mine was called cranberry) with black fenders. Cat motor pre-emissions, Low ride suspension pulling a low boy and flatbed. Loved that truck. Should have kept it.
Thanks for making these videos. I stumbled onto your channel in normal YT fashion, and have enjoyed watching them. I've recognized a number of the highway segments and they bring back memories of my travels. Safe travels friend.
Love the videos Stan. Had to retire from the truck and riding with you looking out the windshield during a light rain with good tunes playing, warm and dry headed down the road, can send me right back to the road.
This is SO cool!!!! Awesome that Josh agreed to be on the video. It's always enlightening to "see" the demographics of those of us who watch you & other YT vloggers.
Beautiful intro... just the right amount of engine to the music coming in was real sweet. Luv your editing. You're videos are so relaxing, I like to watch them just before bed. I could ride with you forever, I'm old & infirm but I could be good company altho my husband probably wouldn't like it. ;) Stay safe out there.
that's cool I watch your channel all the time and as I drive down I-40 here in Crossville TN. I look for ya, hoping to talk with ya. It's good that you stop and take time out for your viewers. God Bless ya Sasnak.
See,,? I told ya, you are going to end up with your own TV show! ,,,and next time you're back east I want to shake your hand,, so I can say I knew you before you were a big star,,,LOL
Stan...this instrumental music...ya gotta tell me what the name of it is...it is beautiful...I just love it and it is so fitting your videos too!! Ya definitely got that right...you are one handsome trucker!! lol lol Sometimes, when you're driving, Stan...it looks so dark in front of you...don't know how you can see the road?? Maybe something in videoing it?? That music is so pretty...it just does something to me and it really suits your videos too!!
Great video Stan... Now as I'm LMAO, I recall the last person that was knocking on our door was a damn Lot Lizard. Me and my brother under load headed to Los Angeles from Oregon with a load of Spuds. Brother had to stop at a rest area due to running out of hrs. At that time I didn't have my CDL so I was just riding shotgun... Come to think of it I'm glad there was no shotgun in the cab at the time the Lot Lizard came a calling because my brother was highly PO'd... LOL Tho he did scare the hell out of her when he shoved the door open and cursing her out... Man, I'd never seen a Lizard run that fast! LMAO
I've seen your truck before on I-65 in Indiana before you had your channel and remarked to my wife that that guy has the right idea, and you have gotten off in Lafayette so I think it was your truck I have seen before
Sasnak wife works there we actually live north off in-10 DeMotte exit. I live 2 miles from the love's travel center. We got a decent bbq place if you ever overnight there let me know
Got caught nekkid in the shower, eh? Lol! See?...that's what happens when you become a celebrity! When you heard that knock, knock, knock on the door I bet you thought, "Aw CRAP---a lot lizard!". Just so you know, Stan, they don't call 'em lot lizards no more...they're now known as Recreational Reptiles! And the 'knocker' is a mechanic to boot...imagine that! Great video as always! Truck 'em safe, be happy, love God, and, keep smiling! (it makes people wonder what you been up to!) (7/28/2018 8:25pmCST Saturday Houston, Texas)
Recreational Reptiles? Blue Collar S(t)oopervisers.😛💩 How about vaculocephalics? A teacher and I used to call each other cool names like Drosophyla melanogaster and megacoeliac. But we had the quals. He was also my advisor. May the Lord grant you wide front door space and no bugs on the bumper, Bro. Rhubarb
I'd say hi too can rely on us Iowans to be friendly and say howdy though I don't think I'd cone knocking on the shower door! Probably wave ya down on the road ;)
Does this mean YOU have One of a kind Tractor? That guy spotted you right away..If you ever come through NE. I hopes you have your C.B. radio on.. I am called "Freckles" on the C.B. Radio. I drive a 4 Wheeler. and have a 2 mile range radio. There is a truck stop here called "Shoemaker's" Maybe you'll check out the truck stop. Sure are bringing back lots of memories watching all your work.. Excellent video footage Stan ...Thanks for all you do..Peace V
@@Sasnak Even without knowing the trucks real well that sleeper stands out. And an eleven foot long sleeper attached to a purdy truck like yours is hard to miss.
Little America Truck Stop in Wyoming. Heaven for truckers, 18, 12and 4 wheelers, treat y'all like royalty.😇🏪🏦🏧🏨💈🔧🏊🚛💎⛽🍵🍳🍮🍲🍜🍌🍎🍇🌳🌲🌲🌺🌌🛀ahhhh📰📲📡📠💻💺✂🎭🎶📺🌄😷😪💇💆👍👌✌
i know that bridge 12:49 SE Mpls which is Really borderline On NE one step over really no east side its miniapplelis Nutty then get over replacement bridge that falls in 2008 ~ then you get to meet the most mix up interchange ~ then the bridge of tomorrow they guessing it be tomorrow 2019 when it open ~ i-80 the SunChaser Highway never Catch it?
Do you ever make it up to rhode island? I have been looking into buying a 20ft box truck with a sleeper its automatic and you dont need a cdl license. 2008 hino 338 diesel sleeper. Do you think that would be good truck to get into the business with? Have you ever talked to anyone on the road driving one? Was thinking i could use it for work and travel. Great vids thanks for sharing them!
It all depends on what kind of trucking work you plan on doing. Hino trucks are usually local trucks and a 20 ft box would be good for expediting. Its not the kind of rig for cross country hauling. Customers want a lager cargo area therefore 53ft trailers are popular. This sounds like an expediter setup
No trucks cars motorcycle in left lane on two lane. Left lane is passing only. Emergency lane and a 250 buck ticket for hanging out over there. It has helped a lot but kinda funny now going down the road we have our cruise on trying to fudge a bit and every body sits it on 68 and we run up on the car in front . It's funny though now u can look at night on 75 s and it is single lane as far as u can see on a 2 lane each way
Stan also was going to ask other than for vlog you tube do you get a chance to do much photography with the 77D. I'm a Nikon gal myself used to have a cannon but Nikon has worked great for nature stills but your video quality is great! Keep em coming ;)
Im not much of a photographer. I bought the 77D because it was well rated on several TH-cam vids as being a great vlogging camera because of the great autofocus that Canon has. I figured it was a camera I could grow into
Stan, I wanted to ask what is the significance or story behind the cross you have as hood ornament. You never mentioned before and I noticed it was not on the trick in first videos.
I am a believer as well and that was why I noticed the Cross. Thank for your testimony and your conviction to be unashamed of standing for Christ. Maybe one day you can teach me to drive a rig. Its on my bucket list 😁
Good question. If its a new unregistered tanker and is empty, has never had anything inside, you dont need tank or hazmat endorsements. Its considered machinery for transfer. If for example when I hauled frac tanks in Colo last winter I had to have tanker endorsement but no hazmat because they had been washed out.
How does one go about taking care of medical needs on the road? People have doctors whom they've had a relationship with for a long time and their doctors know their history inside and out. I'd be afraid of hitting the road and then needing to see a doctor about something that my longtime doctor would already know how to treat based on past history. So, the question again is, how does someone take care of medical issues requiring a doctor or medicine while on the road away from home a lot?
Great question. I'll answer this from my experience. I'm pretty healthy so I dont go to the doc very often. When I do, I make an appt in the near future lets say 1 month out. I then tell disp that I'll need to be home on that day. They in turn will find a load that will get me there. Perfect example, I have a dentist appt next Monday. I just found out 2 hrs ago that disp has found a load heading to DFW so I'll make it to my appt. As far as Insurance, its no diff out on the road than it is at a home.
Good to meet you in person.Happy trucking!
Hey Josh. Nice to have net you. Had a good talk. In hindsight I should have recorded more. Hope I can meet more people this way.
Josh.. You are one lucky fella..

Yes sir, for good reason too.
Thanks for making these videos. I stumbled onto your channel in normal YT fashion, and have enjoyed watching them. I've recognized a number of the highway segments and they bring back memories of my travels. Safe travels friend.

Not as much these days. Cell phones have taken over
Awesome
Thats cool.. Your famous now ..👍🏻👍🏻👀
Well now wasn't that awesome, your first of many fans to approach you.
If someone on the road stopped you to say hellow, that means that you have made a change in the world!!

Nor mine. I have a friend from the past that is a OTR trucker. It's hard to get those stories out of my head...
Well you probably run into those too at times but doubt you would record and post such an encounter.
Unmanned warehouse? Interesting. What's the name of the cool music at video 12:48?
Its a cut from the TH-cam library. ' Zoom' is the title

DeLorme Street Atlas for my laptop. I bought it first at Circuit City. Its not sold in stores anymore you have to go to DeLorme's website

Most of those have died off I think.
I was thinking the same thing. Love your videos tho man.
BOM DIAAAAAAAAAAAAA.GOOD MORNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. BOM TRABALHOOOOOOOO GOOD JOBBBBBBBBBBBB.
So where is that door knocker now?? Is He watching you on PEOPLE"S CONVOY?
Barnical Bill the sailor
Kansas sure is flat. Does that improve the mileage you get?
I was born in Ks but have lived in Texas most of my life. I do very little in Ks. And yes you'll get better mpg on flat ground vs mountains
When I hear "Dead Head", I'm probably thinking of something different than you mean here. Did you really get paid to dance all the way to Texas?
What's Dead Heading?
Dead heading is when your not pulling a trailer.
Or with no load with a trailer
Dead head is with a trailer but no load in it. Bobtailing is with no trailer at all
Do you know where those terms come from?
Kelly Cady I'd love to know!
