-in one of the training montages in ep 1 or 2 you see Fern standing in a circle, that might be Frieren showing her how to suppress her mana. -i love how they tell you time and time again how the fight is going to end and it is still epic to watch Frieren show her true mana. -when the camera changes to Aura's POV at the end you can see Frieren walking away in the background.
Frieren's fade away line, "Aura go k*** yourself," is so cold and disrespectful. Frieren 1. Doesn't look at Aura while saying it. 2. Doesn't kill Aura with her own hand. Dying in battle to a powerful mage has some level of respect for a warrior/mage. 3. Uses Aura's own magic to kill Aura. It is amazing writing to have the apprentice Mage/Warrior get the flashy battle in episode 9. Then the master mage's fight is just a slow burn of talking and set up. To pull that off and have it feel as satisfying is just great writing.

Demons have different weaknesses, so it's a guess as to what it would take to kill them. Frieren making Aura do it herself is pure genius.
