- Each year the Frenchmans track gets tougher and tougher, this year Jamie, Rick and Johno are
taking it on with not one but 2 big loaded trucks and Jamie’s Canter!
Will they survive the tight scrub, big wombat holes and the dangerous Pascoe river crossing?

At 58 My dream was to travel Australia , unfortunately I fell on hard times some 20 years ago and lost everything. I have Been on a disability pension ever since. At least I can sort of live my Dream through Exploring off the Grid. So a big thank you from myself, I wish I was there with you but watching is the next best thing. We try and plan a life but in no time things can change and do a 180. I live in a 10 foot caravan in my ex’s backyard. My car is a tiny Pajero i0 , that can’t be trusted to go bush. My only exploring I do in through TH-cam, it sucks but it’s my life now. Alot of people are worse of than myself . So I got to try and stay positive, thank you for showing us your travels at least we can live through you.
I'm disabled, pension, no money.. I live the life, $5000 van.. no need for $$$. Before that travelled in a $1000 Ford wagon.
Camping In in bush
Today, catching fish.

Great rigs!💪👍 You mentioned srings on the canter to help with the bed. Are you using a zero torsion subframe 3-4 point set up? Or a ubolt spring bolt/ straight rail?
good truck

Hi guys
We are heading to the cape in our Isuzu nps 300 in July. With the water crossings is your main mod diff , gearbox and transfer case breathers. Did you have to modify anything else to keep water out? Thanks for any help
Love the content with the big trucks guys. I hope that you can make a video some day telling us everything you have done to set up these awesome rigs and a breakdown of the cost of each item. Cheers 🍻 🍻
Have a look through the channel mate. Rick had a run down on his truck
@@phranque2781 I have watched that video. I’d like to hear what they have done to these Isuzu trucks.

Hi guys I’d like to catch up with you guys soon for a chat and a beer I have finally got my Isuzu NPS late last year and still got a bit to go to get it where I want it, but keep it safe cheers boys 👍🍻🇦🇺
Always keen for a beer mate and thanks!
Obviously the Isuzu is the newer than the Canter truck which is the better Canter or the Isuzu?
I'm loving the content it's great to see the trucks in action.
Gday Barry, the Isuzu's are definitely my favourite, unfortunately Jamie's old personal Canter was lacking a lot of maintenance but they are still a very capable truck if looked after!
Regards Rick
Can we see more pov when you driving down the tracks..please...we rarely see big truck doing hardcore offroading so if we can see the pov when you drive it,im really appreciate that sir
Thanks for watching....and noted mate!
Nice
What time of year did you complete the cape York trip

@@exploringoffthegrid thank you for the follow up.
Hi Guys... i wonder if It's made in Australia ..so hopefully we can sell in Indonesia..then Indonesia will have more nice and stronger truck Mikes.. already subscribe ...❤❤from Charlie Medan Indonesia

Cheers mate
😍
👍
Surprised you are not running PTO and hydraulic winches front and rear. Trucks are designed with PTO in mind. No issues with batteries, voltage drop, 24 volt change overs, relays and all that shit that goes wrong with electrics after a couple of thousand river crossing.
👍
Not a bad option for a truck but cant go shopping with it 79 go anyway
Srry anywhere
We go to shopping with it, haven't used our 79 since upgrading to the truck!
@Exploring Off The Grid u serious go shopping with a truck? Shopping place must of have a really big carpark

really that necessary to drive your 4X4 camper truck through such treacherous terrain . . . there must be other roads & off road trails that'll also take you to your favourite camping sites . . . exposing the 4X4 camper truck to such abuse deliberately, across miles of inhospitable off road trail . . . don't approve to such acts of deliberation . . . might as well leave your custom built & highly capable Mitsubishi FUSO Canter 4X4 + 5.0 in. Lift 3.4 TDI I5 4-Dr Crew Cab Light Camper Truck (RHD) at home . . . grab a Triumph Tiger XS adventure bike & ride off into the sunset . . . venture on weekend expedition trips with your Mitsubishi FUSO Canter 4X4 + 5.0 in. Lift 3.9 TDI I5 4-Dr Crew Cab Light Camper Truck (RHD) on less forgiving off road terrain . . .
Umm got nothin! lol
