Hi, i bought this watch via groupon for my brother in law. Is the only way to connect to internet (FB and Whatsapp) via the build in sim?! or can it use high 4g connection from his crapy Galaxy S5 android phone?
I was watching this vedio on my lg phone and listening to it on one of these watches they are pretty loud good volume yet u have to set volume thru screen no volume buttons im very happy with my 9.00 total purchase yet it does take time to arrive from asia

wait so i have to take my sim out of my phone and then place it in to the watch? can i not use both at once? like wear the watch and have phone on me but like leave phone in car and use watch? will i have to keep swapping sims?
At most carrier companies you can contact your phone service provider and ask to purchase a second sim card and get service for it. For example I have METRO PCS and it costs 10 dollars a month for an additional sim with service. This watch is a phone in itself if you have a sim card in it. You don't have to even have a cell phone to make calls and texts with it if you have an activated sim card in it.

Scott Mannear look for something better unless you just want use as phone although when I talk to my girl using SIM she says she can hear a helicopter sound dunno if watch or network its fine when use connected to phone but I got one that was sposed to have video player and go online it does neither lol
Mine sounds fine per people I call. Can get to google, but going past that it gets routed to Baidu, a Chinese website regardless of any page I enter.
Screen size and joke of a keyboard make any further internet efforts futile.
As a notifier, mp3 player, and minimal phone, worth the bucks. A spare battery $10 Amazon, whole phone $12, so I bought a second. Figured out how to move contacts to stay in watch memory (100 limit).
Bluetooth contacts read from connected phone limited to first 500, which doesn't get me past letter J as I have @1200 in my real phone.
Figured out how to pair Bluetooth headphones and speakers.
Ye mine fine when call it was my network its not always best network lol but it wont let me online or play vids but I have a better watch now can play games on it go online it has wifi etc lol
I wonder how long until these smartwatch / feature phone improve to the quality of $50 feature phones today.
for example a $25 feature phone in late 2018 to early 2019 is equivalent to a $50 phone from 2016.
And the screens better, if you look around you might even find a 1080p screen on a $50 phone, that's perfect for a kid starter phone.
The only problem with feature phones today is that more than half of them are 10-$15 phones going for 25 to $80.
we would see a serious bump in average feature film quality if more feature phones the same thing most other phone manufacturers do, 1% profit or less and making money everywhere else.
I would have liked to watch this but I can't hear it, the volume is too low. Going to hook it up to my Bluetooth later and crank it.

My mom has a habit of leaving both of our phones at home she has a work phone and a personal phone that she pays like $65 a month to get both of their data plans.
Except 95% of the time she doesn't need a single data plan, so I think if I get her this show what is it half the time but half the time she leaves both of our phones at work she'll have something I can call her on over Wi-Fi.
