@@chich-ai the difference between the new project sekai note versus the normal chunithm tap note is project sekai note just check if there is an input there and auto give a perfect. for chunithm you still have to time the swipe properly, not going to fast or slow!
I've only played Chunithm a few times just due to how hard it is to find, let alone find one that connected to a server. I think the whole using index/ring finger on Chunithm vs index/middle for Project Sekai due to basically just the 'board' being much shorter was very insightful. I'll make sure to try that next time I play. Impressive stuff to that player overall though, I could feel the frustration with the app closing so much lol.
From a 4k mania player’s perspective, cross hands and surprisingly Append were a learning curve for me but everything else was relatively easier. 4k players are very good at speed charts
A friend of mine told me after playing mania for so long, note density doesnt phase him anymore in any rhythm game, it’s just being able to execute the patterns is the tough part lol
I've personally played all three games myself (osu!mania and chunithm after sekai) and i can really see some skill transferring over games. My personally experience is that osu!mania was generally the hardest one after you get to around 4.5 stars, whilst i can handle around 14's in chunithm. For sekai the challenge personally is around the harder 31's or maybe even 32.

I’ve been wondering would proseka skills transfer to chunithm a lot? I will be spending a week in Japan soon and will definitely try chunithm so it would be nice if any chuni players out there could give me a hand
here’s a tip: hit (most) notes with more than one finger at a time, just trust me on this also, for “stair” patterns, use pointer and ring fingers, not middle fingers, because the notes will be more spread out

Well, technically now JP does have a type of note you can either click or just hold/swipe
But we do have to deal with the generic tap notes still
