My way of doing stairs really depends on the chart For dftm or noushou i hit half the stairs with 1 left 3 right Usually i do 2 left 2 right and i play 4k if required Also the correct term for 4 fingers is 4k, k meaning key One chart I will recommend is Inandesu master This video is pretty good though I found it accurate enough
i think being able to switch from two finger for normal trills and 3/4 fingers for stairs is a must-have skill for the higher levels. its really common in jinsei exp (31) and gekishou mas (34)
Lanota is one of the games that interests me, which contains up flicks and down flicks. One thing that the developers did not create yet I thought about is the rolling stairs with directional flicks. One example is: (assuming notes going to the bottom of the screen) Down Up Up Down Down Up Down Up Up Down Down Up This can potentially prevent a multifinger approach on stairs. Yet a two-finger player can handle that. I wish to see that pattern in Master 17 or beyond levels.
stairs ALWAYS FUCK ME UPPPPP like im oddly good at them and terrible at them at the same time. when its easy stairs i can jus do the default two notes with each finger no problem, but if its super complicated stairs (the peachy key master......) i USE ONE FINGER FOR SOME REASON??? like i jus default to trying to tap everything with one finger and missing one or two notes bc i do worse when i try to use both hands idk 😭
i would say there are more ways than you mentioned to hit stairs -you can still hit them like normal trils with wild hand movements (i dont like this one) -you can use multiple fingers for each note And other than these two its just showing off if you do it any way else
Can you make a tutorial on how to do those notes where it’s like _ _ _ _ _ _ _ For example the one in The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku always throws me off 😢
