Probably my favorite mech, and one where I actually prefer the Inner Sphere name of Cauldron Born. Such a cool profile and (canonically, at least) near-immortality, in my favorite weight range of 60-80 tons.
You're so brave to always have override on, I can't trust my self with that kind of risk, I always get to caught up in the thrill of shooting when I'm in a good spot behind the enemies back.
Good to be back in the comments of your (I think) expert videos Baradul. I just play MWO, so I don't whatch many off that grand game. I love your, knowledge, sharing of the game and in such a friendly way. AND it's neat how you're doing it still. Learning the different patterns of artillery / air strikes. I hadn't learned that until you shared it with this video! It's like totally excellent.
@Baradul: Was it you or Kanajashi who taught us that the 1st laser in the Eb-Jag side torso sits low down & the others go over the shoulder? I used an ER Micro laser as a placeholder so both Large Pulses can peek over cover.
The mobility bonuses from the Ebon B are actually pretty nice for poking, i pERsonally run 1 pair each ERLL, HLL, ERML and only one laser in the left torso to lower the profile.
Man, right when I sell My Javelin-11A, I see an interesting build... I wasn't a fan of it, couldn't get it to work for Me... then I see the 4 x Pulse Lasers, and 3 Flamers... ah well...
My ebon jag was literally just to swap the left side torso for the one that has 3 hard points, put in ER-med in the first one, then the large pulses, and then fill the others with ER-med as shown here, with a clan probe and every other slot filled with heat sinks. You do in fact have enough alpha to one-shot drill almost anything from the back if they haven't noticed you. I've killed 2 Timbies and an Atlas that way so far.
@max mustermann All of them and even more. Damage components+additional damage(x1~x3) inflicted by weapon+additional damage inflicted by ammo/gauss explosion.
@max mustermann You can try similar IS laser vomit builds on Thunderbolt TOP DOG and Roughneck. Use TC VIII instead, the bulkiest and craziest of all TCs. Melts component like crazy.
I run the same Timber build. The Jag is obviously lighter but has the same speed but with less durability. Different silhouette and the High hardpoint for the Large Pulse makes shooting both easier to aim than the TMB with them on the arms. I'm not pro but it looks to be a toss up or an alternative for people on a budget.
Laser vomit looks tricky, the beams take too long, give away your position, and announce to everyone that your playstyle is easy to take advantage of. Thanks for the games, Bara!
I've missed your daily doses, welcome back!

Great laservomit build for one of my favorites! I also loved your Ebon Jag with a gauss and two erLL. Keep up the great work :D

Reactor online, sensors online, weapons online. All systems nominal

I've been summoned it seems

MW77 dude had two good games, as did Bara, of course.
Great stuff Bara!
Thanks for this build, my first game I had 1137 damage dealt, we still lost... XD
The Shaguar!
Keep doing what you're doing sir.
I really wish MW5 had a training/testing ground like MWO
I love laser vomit builds
My favourite stompy robot!
My ebon jag setup is only heavy meds and heatsinks +clan active probe
Your paint scheme looks WAY better than mine 😅
EBJ is pretty great.
he called him baradouche XD
It one of the best 65 tonners very good mech
Sounding like your old self again ;)
Proud to know that the build I have on the mech I got last night is almost exactly what Bara is running.
I use 2 ERLL 6ERML with a TC5 for crits. 23 DHS keeps the heat at a manageable level.
Also: I was that snowball distracting you in the first match.
@max mustermann Large TC provides crazy crit bonus, deletes structure instantly.

WOW an assist for every 12 enemy mechs and not a single kill or component.
Thats also some kind of crazy achievement xD
So, I run my Timberwolf with essentially this build, are there any benefits to running the Jag over the Timber?

The jag has all the weapons more or less horizontal with the cockpit. The Tim has more vertical spread
Let’s go!
