"New to this? Here's the breakdown. Familiar with this? Try this twist on it. Going pro? Master this literal challenge" You managed to get it all on one video. You got a lot to offer, Jack
Breaking the mechanic down piece by piece is the best thing you can do, i think your tutorials are gonna be the best ones out there if you continue like this, please consider making a series of tutorials and going over some more advanced mechanics in the future, i'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it very much, ty for the content
When he said “sweaty tryhards” in the beginning that felt good for some reason.. it’s like he’s also one of us regular players lmao not just a robot set to extreme difficulty playing on autopilot
Very nice seeing somebody go a little more in-depth on half flips and the fact that there is more to it than just the fairly known version. Might have wanted to mention that you can half flip diagonally as well, although the advanced version is kind of that, but not quite. The final orientation just depends on how far you misalign the direction of the flip and the cancel.
Jack please do a flick tutorial. Your top corner flicks in your 1v1 matches are insane (you mentioned that you were decent at them yourself). I haven't been able to find tutorials that explain flicks that look like yours properly.
The birdseye view of the half-flips being shown off at each level is useful. Just for accuracy sake. Thank you, Jack. The cinematic work on the examples, such as the boost grab and rotation or realising an opponent does indeed have boost to aerial and you have to turn back, the dept of field and panning camera share the right amount of information but keeps you focused on what you need to be doing exactly. I can be overwhelmed by too much information coming at me too fast, so I really appreciate the depth focus/blur, Editor.
Thanks for the clean tutorial! Would love an in depth flick tutorial. Your flicks are amazing. It’s so hard to get the precision and power the way you do.
One thing I noticed is that I didn’t realise I was doing different types of half flip. I sort of just viewed it all as a half flip. Cool to know, thanks Jack.
Perfect video with a great explanation! Thanks Jack🙏🏻 Can you do a tutorial on aerial car control, like using air roll left/right or even just normal air roll? Because every time i try to practice it, i just fly around with no clue where i am going or how to control my car.. I'd really appreciate it Keep the great work up
Thanks for the explanation! I’ve always wondered what to use front half flips for. Your probably busy af with 1’s and don’t wanna give away all your pro tips, but more tutorials would be appreciated! You’re content’s clean and your voice is soothing😂.
Great tutorial and I just wanted to say I appreciate the increase in effort in the videos lately! Would love to see such an in-depth tutorial on all the different kick-off tactics you use i.e. fake/wavedash/hook kickoffs
Jack, I know how to half-flip.... But, I'm damn well about to watch you explain how to do it to see where I can improve. Thank you so much for the videos, you're amazing!
More tutes plssssss Jack. Simple Ariel’s. Quick Ariel’s. Defense. Complete ground game. That’d be amazing. I watched several vids. These two helped me actually get it!!!! Many thanks sir ❤
Hi Jack, Myself and my 7 year old son really enjoy playing rocket league. A friend put me on to your videos and I really like them, and they are helping my game. Importantly for me you keep the language clean so my son can watch them as well. Please keep them up.
Hey mate yeah don’t worry I will always keep the language clean on my part. Sometimes if Im doing a video with someone else (like the most recent video today) they will swear, but my editor does a good job of removing it. One or two may get through without him noticing so I apologise in advance if you find that, however 90% of my videos are by myself and completely clean :) Thank you to you and your son for the support, let him know I said hi!
The number one thing I want to see you cover is - what to do about midfield defense with very low boost. You addressed it in yesterday's video when you said you didn't know what to do there and questioned whether pathing small pads or going side boost was the better approach. Great content as always - and thank your editor for us.
If u think the beginners half flips look scuffed, u should see my half flips. I technically know how to do it but for some reason it takes me so long to get the entire halfflip down. I almost have to stop moving and focus on half flipping for it to work lol
it might help to wait an extra half of a second before you cancel the flip to complete the motion and land on all 4 wheels (in case someone needs it .. i found that quite useful years ago when i learned it)
Genuinely appreciate the time you took to make your tutorials. Sadly, it seems my brain is broken considering I'm still having trouble consistently pushing my stick diagonally for speedflips. Either way awesome videos man. Got a new subscriber today.
Hey man, great tutorial. I was thinking you should do a Road to ssl in 1v1 but play in a distant server, like us-west o even in SA, that could even things out and make some funny moments
Thank you for the video. I wanted to know what do you use to record. I use sharefactory n I wanted to upgrade n saw you video has those cool effects on the side n I like the way you show the car doing the action from a different angle. Not sure if that’s the software or something you use in Rocket League. Btw your the man at ones. Plus #1 right. Thank you n God bless you!
ItBeCaleb_RL I play only on ps4 n I didn’t understand any of that. Now I have to search the internet to explain these things too me. But thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I appreciate the fast response.
@@Redcar200 apologies! Force of habit with what I work with! For anything of this level, typically being able to add mods and shaders while capturing footage, pc is the way too go, but obviously not everyone is able to do that
Drop a like for the editor on this one boys. He did such a sick job
awe 🥲
Agreed he's awesome. Great pick up

Squishy has a good tutorial on this. It's not really a useful mechanic though. But it does look cool :)

if u want a good tips for half flip, put air roll left or right in left joystick and halflip only with joytsick left is more easier
For those having trouble ditch the boost bit and once you start getting it down consistently start implementing boost
