hello thanks for the video . what kind of ceiling is the best for hanging the hammock?? i m having a dilemma because even though i bought a set i dont know if its safe to drill holes on my concrete ceiling i dont know if its gonna hold
Hi. I had to move to another flat in the new building in order to install the silks and hammocks. It's dangerous to drill in the ceiling built with wood and old concrete- containing materials. It should be 100% concrete! Also, check the hole after you drill, that there is no big gap between your ceiling concrete plate and the next layer of concrete above. Quite often there will be some free space in 3-5 cm of your ceiling plate. The hook should go into the pure concerte at least 10cm to make it safe for you to hang. Imho. I have around 14cm, and it holds perfectly.
