I absolutely could not leave this video without posting I have the utmost respect for this video! I’ve used Procreate for quite some time now, but there were several elements I was quite unaware of and they would greatly improve the quality of work and speed up my work flow considerably! Thank you!
I usw procreate manly for sketching and flat color. It’s amazing how easy the drop fill is. And i didn’t know I can put on color and just by tapping, the same will again appear. Thank you for it. Procreate have so much hidden future, it’s mindblowing
Thank you for the REFERENCE tip!- I was almost going back to pencil/paper because I couldn’t see a reference image- tho , how do I get a blank canvas to work WITH the ref image??
Omg thank you so much! That brush size saving tip is so helpful! Brush finder and quick preview also new to me. A question, is there any shortcut/hack to add new layer?
i actually use most of these tips. oh yeah just to know, you can only keep i belive four or five paint brush, and brush opacity sizes's. also i tend to use the other color thing, when picking a color im using. so i didnt know about the one thing, the other colour picker could do. also there was afew things i didnt know, so thanks for showing us these tips.
I love this video and especially your line drawings. Any chance you might make them available for those of us who aren’t as artistically inclined and need preset line drawings to practice the techniques you talk about? I mean, I would totally purchase these line drawings-for one thing I love your illustration style! Let us know if you’d make these line drawings available for purchase! What a great Christmas present to myself!
Hey! Great video - I learned so much! I have one question about the copy paste functionality. I often find this frustrating in Procreate. To swipe with multiple fingers and all. Is there an alternative?
If you go into ACTIONS/PREFERENCES/GESTURE CONTROLS and choose the copy and paste gesture, there are several options you can choose instead of the 3 finger swipe. Just keep in mind if you have another option currently using the gesture you choose that the original will be lost. Ie if you were using tap and hold for color picking and you changed it to invoke copy and paste it will not linger work to pick a color. You would need to choose a new gesture for color picking. Hope that helps.
Hi Charly! I have a question regarding locking the brush sizes - does this mean that if you zoom in and out of your drawing the brush size stays consistent? This is one of my bugbears of Procreate, that the brush size does not resize according to how much you are zoomed in or out of your drawing. But I would be ecstatic if saving the brush size means it remains consistent! Thanks, loved the video :)
Any tips for pixelated look while drawing. If I have to make small lines for like hair at the end but the pen which I use while zooming on that point comes out very pixelated.

Somehow whenever I use the fill tool, the brush I use would use tend to have a texture and thus there would be white particles at the edge, then when I increase the tolerance or spread, it just bleeds through instead of filling the particles. For some reason, when I transform a line or something similar, it blurs the part of the line, no matter the settings. Any way to fix these?
To avoid pixelation when using high threshold with the fill tool you can put the color layer under the line work layer
Yeah, color layers should always be under the line work layer.
@@garrisonfjordtrue this. It was quite weird seeing her adding colors on top of her linework. 😮, but as long as it works for them
@@garrisonfjord yeah i didnt even mention that, but as a general rule i always keep it under
Ahh thank you for the tip, I didn't even think about doing that 🙈Love how we can all learn from each other!
Thanks so much for sharing! @@garrisonfjord

Yes, I find that anoying too.
To fix this, tap Actions (wrench icon) > Prefs and toggle Dynamic Brush Scaling
I didn't know that before, thank you.

Hey what tablet and pen is this? And can you use it on a pc?
I learnt a lot from this video and I also didn't know that it's possible to stack illustrations in the library😂

I can't add a picture to a new canvas. I'm sure that it's something that I've done but I havn't figured it out yet
I just found out that I can tap to select versus trying to draw the perfect shape…
POV: your here watching this even tho you dont have procreate
skipping tutorials and user manuals makes almost every feature hidden 🙃
