Great review! got the game and I'm really enjoying it so far. I wish the stories was longer and, as you said, incorporated more of the lore. Hope they make a sequel!
I'd like to see them make a sequal for this game, but with less arena fighting and more open world exploration, content and satisfying combat (maybe even utilizing some of the unused lore). You know, maybe something similar to Kingdom Hearts?
It is forgot this came out on switch and seen it recently on some random shit on sale for $8! Good timing too since I lost my blue vita and this game was on it lost to the ages eons ago. Finally can complete it now. The switch truly is trying to copycat half ass replace the vita. As well as the wii lol
Can you transmog the accessories/buffs? I like to customize my chars a lot and dont want to feel like I'm locked into a certain accessory because of the buff

I'm tempted to grab this on sale right now (8 bucks) but I'm not sure I'll actually play it since the campaign aspect looks weak... I'm not just talking trash, it looks fun but I'm legitimately not sure that I'd pull it from the back burner, somebody help! 😆
I don't know if you haven't bought it by now or not but when I played it it was kinda basic but not bad. Imagine dynasty Warriors combat with the devil may cry bloody palace mode but only about half as good as that would be. It's fun at first slashing up enemies and collecting coins and weapons but the story routes last way too long after a while (being upwards of 30 - 50 floors or so) with very tanky enemies that hit hard. The game also doesn't explain some of it's more crucial features sometimes. It's good for short bursts but I'd recommend it more for handheld like switch and vita than console or pc for like 5-10 bucks at the most.
FYI, PLAYISM reached out to me and are pushing out a patch that should be out this week to fix the Sara campaign crash.
