Man, that was an EXCELLENT game, I really love watching you two play Legion, it’s honestly some of the best content on TH-cam. Thank you so much Something I found quite interesting about that game was that Michael just flat out ignored the supply tokens, was that by design? Could’ve been a game changer if Vader or someone in his vicinity stumbled upon a health pack!
Thanks Nickman. I ended up ignoring them due to poor placement on my part. I never had a chance to pick them up "along the way" like Chris did, although he was really helped out by his infiltrating units. I think Supply Drop is a nice addition to the game with some cool mechanics, but personally don't like it as I don't play it very well.
Ten people hiding in four palm trees is classic! Surprised about Vader. First time I saw a force wielder not see any serious action. He looked like a battlefield tourist for the longest time. However, this was definitely a classic fight for the center from the beginning with Chris' deployment. You both played a good close game. You have a great group of players for your channel. I love looking at your past Legion games. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks mate! I couldn't agree more about Vader. i struggled with command card management and felt like I had to hold him back while Iden was on the offensive. I am going to have to have a think about how to run him better in the future.
What a game!! Really enjoyed this one and learnt so much from it-thought you were cruising to a win Michael but as you always say- keep playing until the end!
Great game! I completely forgot about dish lasers! They seem like a pretty powerful piece to have in your arsenal. I liked all of the character interactions, and holy cow the scout snipers are effective. Well done!
You guys are back, hurrah!! Something I’ve just noticed though (and this probably seems a little counterintuitive), Bistan is NOT the unit leader for Pathfinders. I’m sure it won’t make a HUGE difference, but it’s only Pao that becomes the leader. So good to see you guys back!
Down to the last roll! Not sure it can come much closer. Great Game Guys! The commentary re: CO Iden and OP Vader turn zero command card struggle, set me to wondering about the feasibility in general of the newish OP/CO characters working with the older OP versions of former COs.🤔 It didn't seem to (me) be the same challenge in earlier iterations. Though it's been so long mayhap memory is dusted with the haze of "ze early years" 😉 Regardless Great Game War Corgi has set the standard for full on Legion Bat Reps. Much appreciated
It would be great to see a 501st vs. 212th engagement like on Umbara when Pon Krell was orchestrating everything (or any clone legions). Just think it would be cool to see Clone vs. Clone with all the stacking they can do! Great video!
Michael started out with Chris’s dice rolls to begin with and then must have found his rolls later! Very well played on both sides. It was nice to se the laser cannons in use. I don’t recall seeing Bossk on the channel yet... or have I missed one?
At about 31:30, I’m still a little confused about Danger Sense, I’m not sure if I play it correctly, but couldn’t Chris have chosen ANY amount to remove then, so he could’ve just taken off one? Or am I reading the rule wrong?
War Corgi thanks for the confirmation, I always get a bit confused between Danger Sense and R2D2 about when you can and cannon remove suppression and how much I think Danger Sense is so you can remove as much or as little as you want at any time, but for R2, if he chooses to roll then he can’t decide how much? Is that how you understand it too, Mike?
@@TheNickman007 Both Danger Sense and Infiltrate let you choose how much suppression to remove during the Rally Step, after you roll. (You're always going to perform the roll...but, if you're going to keep all your suppression, you could just skip the roll. If you're not sure how much you're going to keep, you'll roll to see how much you can remove, and then decide how much you will remove.) When you can remove suppression Danger Sense lets you choose how much suppression you'll remove at any time, card effects/end of round, etc. Inconspicuous only lets you choose during the rally step. Any other time you remove suppression as normal.
Great game!! Love to see so different lists every game! I'm becoming a big fan of Jyn/Cassian/K2/Bistan lists, there are great combos there. I'm sure you're on it, but it would be cool to see some ARC troopers and Droids Commandos soon, and maybe even Cad Bane not dying in the 2nd turn :D PD: Just a couple of tiny mistakes I detected, Danger sense cannot be used in mele, and I believe Bistan is not a leader.
So Danger Sense now works in melee which was a great change (RRG p34)! You are right about Bistan though. Cad will be coming back to the channel real soon and I managed to pick up two boxes of Commando Droids. The ARCs were a little tougher to find but I am working on that!
But something I did notice about danger sense. Because you must rally at the beginning of the activation. Danger sense doesn’t allow you to choose wether or not to rally. It does say you choose how many suppression you remove when you rally. Do if you have three suppression and you roll three blocks if you’re a white dice rolling god. You can chose to remove just one of those if you so wish. Just a minor mistake :)
@@warcorgi3623 didn't know that, it's gonna be great for Jyn and the paths, for sure! Thanks! Good luck with those Commando Droids! I'll be cheering for CIS next game, they deserve some wins!
@@warcorgi3623 yeah. I've been only Rebel until Clone Wars released. Then I picked up my second army, clones. So I only have to focus on half of the armies out there. Other than studying Empire/Droids for weaknesses.
Turn 3, Vader double moves and you used a speed 2 ruler both times. Now is that a mistake or am I missing something? Loving your channel; new to the game; learning a lot, but sometimes you go fast.
I played with Operative Vader who is different from the Commander Vader that comes in the Core Set. You can choose to move him at speed 2, but each time you do he takes a suppression token. It was perfectly legal in this case. Thanks for the question!
Thanks Tom but they changed the ruling on that a few months back. If you look in the RRG, the last bullet point makes clear that it can be used against both melee and ranged attacks. It certainly makes the units with Danger Sense a lot more survivable.
Chase it is worth noting that you can also play this game in 500 point skirmish mode on a 3x3 table if you are space confined. I enjoy it, just not as much as I enjoy the 800 point standard games.
Great game guys, these are always fun to watch. I feel like vader rarely makes a big enough impact to justify his points, one round he did well, but yeah, do you have any tips? I love vader but struggle to justify him 😪. Thanks again!
I think my mistake was not keeping the IRG next to him to peel off some of those wounds he took. Had he closed the distance in Turn Six, it could have been a different ending.
IRG really should be used to guardian Vader/Commanders/Snipers. IRG should also be deployed furthest from their unit leader as possible to create the biggest guardian bubble possible.
That's just like.... your opinion man. ;) I appreciate the comment and am not saying that you are wrong. I do believe that they perform just fine as a primary melee unit for your force.

Yep! Not sure where it got away from me but Chris kept his foot on the peddle and it paid off for him.
Great game! Love the change up to a unique list with the laser cannons. More lists surrounding less played units would be great.
Well you are in luck. That is pretty much all we do here at the War Corgi TH-cam Channel.
