It was a really interesting stand off leading into turn 4. Very interesting game, thanks guys. So many good tactics this game. I loved that move by obi to push the sith probes into a place he could charge into and be in cover. Great thinking. Great activation control by josh, and his use of Mauls sabre throw was great, then utilising defensive stance. Dooku going down was the turning point I feel. Then a great showdown with maul vs the heros of the clone wars. So dramatic, great stuff.

I had an opportunity to play a number of Germans while I lived there and was always amazed by their hobby skills and gaming acumen. Josh's minis are painted to a quite nice tabletop standard and are pleasing to see on the table. I am NOT going to comment on another player's (not on this video) minis however. :) Maybe its the lack of paint that causes all the crits to be rolled??? hahaha j/k Enjoyed it as always!

*thank* also: can you explain on where you find the rule on the force push and pull I am blown away on that ability to bring units closer so you can slap them is there any way to push and pull in the same turn? and also also if you force them into a wall or other terrain it does no suppression or damage because that is interesting.
Thanks for the question. A single model is not able to do any action more than once per activation (except move, which you are allowed to do twice), so it is not possible to both push and pull a unit in one activation. You aren't allowed to push them off high places or force them to take damage with force push, but you can see from this battle report why it is considered such a powerful tool for force users. If you have two force users, they could both use their pushes on a single target to do what you are talking about. Alternatively, Vader has a card which allows him to activate twice in a single turn and could push and pull during his two activations.

No restrictions are placed as I think most things in Star Wars Legion are pretty balanced. There have been a few cases where it hasn't worked out well (OP Luke vs Sabine in a skirmish match comes to mind!) but generally it works out ok. It helps that most of my local community don't go in too deep on the competitive play.

Agreed! Some players love the randomness of the B1s. I for one can't stand it and seldom upgrade them with their heavy weapon choices, preferring to spend the points on something a little more reliable. I do enjoy upgrading them with electro-binoculars and am looking forward to having portable scanners available soon!

You are absolutely right and I really should have caught that. I was too caught up in thinking through my final plays to realize that Josh was performing an illegal move. Nimble on Obiwan is something I forget far too often. It is one of the downsides of playing all four factions; you never get really proficient with any of them. It’s crazy that Legion is Josh’s first miniature game. As for Chris, he is having a ball playing Oathmark with me but we have a Legion game scheduled for this Friday.
G Funk Money good on you for painting your minis! We have all levels of hobbyist here. I have been at it for over a decade while Chris is fairly new and improving quickly. The most important thing is to keep working on it as painted minis, no matter the quality of the work, is better than grey plastic.
did you forget the ARCs had a pistol option? many times Fives friend should have thrown an extra white. not awesome chance to hit but I always prefer to throw the dice.
The jump keyword is not once per activation. Even being a card action the RRG states that jump can be used whenever a unit performs a standard move . Otherwise again nice video.
I see where you are coming from but have to disagree with your interpretation here. As a card action, it can only be used once per turn. I’d be interested to hear other takes though because I think you have a strong argument as well.
So here is an analogy I came up with to support my argument. I give you a dollar and tell you that you can spend it whenever you buy groceries, including from a grocery store. Since it is only one dollar, you can only spend it once until I give you another dollar next week, but you still have the freedom to spend it whenever you buy groceries.

The German translation leaves more room for interpretation, since German has difficulties in seperating "any" and "every". The German RRG can be translated as "every time" because it says "immer" and that is what I did. But your analogy is great and proves your point. You are right and I have no problem admitting it.
How was Maul able to leave melee with Anakin in Round 6? He doesn't have Disengage and a withdrawal is the units entire activation. He should have still been in base contact.
Yep! I totally missed that when Josh did it. I think I was thinking about my final moves and didn't pay enough attention to what Josh was doing in the moment. Thankfully it was one of those mistakes that didn't affect the outcome of the game. Thanks for pointing it out so we can do better in the future!

It has been tough for us as well. Not being able to get games in at our local store and seeing other people play with units we don't often play and talk through rules that don't often come up has hurt us. And I was just teasing Jay about being mentioned last; he is a friend and has a great channel.

I suggest turning the sound down to zero and putting on the closed captioning. I mean have you ever tried to keep a Corgi silent? It is an impossible task! As for the sighing, we like to wear our emotions on our sleeves here. I think it makes us relatable!

I suggest turning the sound down to zero and putting on the closed captioning. I mean have you ever tried to keep a Corgi silent? It is an impossible task! As for the sighing, we like to wear our emotions on our sleeves here. I think it makes us relatable!
