In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Congratulations to you and Laura and the doggies will be great to have your own space to do what you want. Downside you are now the landlord so you’ve got to fix all those problems that crop up! My hint to repay your mortgage off that wee bit quicker.. if they say your repayments are eg. $300 p/f if you can afford it pay more eg $320 it’s surprising how much that extra $20 takes off your repayment period. Plus it gives you a little wriggle room if/when rates change.
So happy for you. I’m moving right now to so know how much work it is. Please send a few videos on how it’s going. Don’t forget us. We love you

Mike,my husband is so much like you it's crazy, I know ur definitely his favorite TH-cam channel.He always says your "Punk Rawk", and you don't try to pressure your own personal ideas or beliefs on other people. He also loves to scrap stuff, but I'm not as supportive as your wife....there something odd about waking up in the morning and having a dishwasher, hot water heater, a liposuction machine...and various other piles of stuff....but to him and you it perfectly normal. Just wanted to thank you for what you do..
Back in the early 90's (Ya I'm old) My best repeat dumpster was a Radio Shack dumpster. They couldn't sell "Display" electronics, Ya they threw stereos, ham radios, TV's "Everything" away. Police scanners, "Everything" out in the dumpster. I'd hit it at sunup, first dumpster of the day. Amazing! Just amazing!
