Fun fact: I played Alphys in this video and I recorded my lines almost a year apart. My first ones were done something like last December or January and then I promptly forgot about it until I was asked to do more lines in October, which are the second half (when Alphys talks about Asriel's condition). You really don't hear your own improvement as a VA until you hear 2 very different performances put together for something like this. It's really cool but I can definitely tell I've improved, especially as an Alphys VA. I'm really glad to have gotten to do this and the animation is incredible!

The animation and effects were truly flawless, the music & voice acting was matched ideally, no to to mention the setting was something fresh and unique from [all the 'animation memes' and pg bullshit i encounter daily is driving me nuts] - not only for undertale animations [screw all the kids begging for a sans fight, asriel rocks]. oh, and i absolutely MUST watch Akira now. did i mention how much i love the idea of using anime settings/scenes for inspiration? ahh, and im glad you decided to split it into two parts. clever move ; ] holy hinges that tunrned out hella long. @@Cushla-np4pt the gender is never confirmed in the actual game so people just usually give them a gender when their doing art or fan animated series like Underverse or Glitchtale, personally I think Chara is female and Frisk is non binary because their always referred to as "they/them" or "child" in the game so I'm pretty sure Frisk is meant to be gender neutral but who knows.

gosh, this is just a wonderful tribute to both Undertale and Akira. the animation and voice-acting was beautiful and the pacing reminded me of the old film. Keep up the fantastic work.
Now that I saw the Akira movie, I realized how good that is! It exactly looks like the movie but in undertale! I would love to see the entire Akira movie like this, amazing job :)

I'm absolutely FLOORED. I thought the animation of Omega Flowey was already the pinnacle of fan animation for Undertale but this is beyond incredible. The voices work so well with the characters and the animation is fucking phenomenal. Bravo. Absolutely wonderful work. EDIT: And ignore anyone who tries to rush a part two from you; art takes time and animation takes longer. If you decide to do a part two, take all the time in the world you need to do it. The end result will be well worth it
This was an amazing animation! I love the voices of Asgore and Asriel. Rev, Spencer, you two did great as your respective characters. :) As for the animation itself, it was very smooth. The transitioning was really good, and I loved the 3D effect that you did when showing the soul room. Seeing Asgore reunite with his son again was also really empowering. You could tell that he was trying to protect him and that he didn't want to hurt him. And you also captured Chara's creepiness quite nicely. Lumisau, great work on your part. :) A little theory bit: I think Asriel was injected with determination as well and began melting when he was hit by Asgore's attack. Not sure if I'm right or not, though. Also, the arm transformation was completely disgusting. Great job on it. It made me feel queasy. XD
the rough backstory is along the lines of chara and flowey messing around with creating an artificial soul to reform back to Asriel. the artificial soul is seen during the alphys exposition camera where it briefly scaned asriel as an artificial soul. the reformed flowey, now being asriel started to take the manifestation of asriel's personality with the raw nature of flowey buried inside, causing a conflict between the 2 personas. given the circumstances that lead up to where they are now, with chara having an agenda making use of asriel's power, they made their way to the barrier chamber to imbune the artificial soul with the actual souls, with a given false pretense from chara that it will stabilize the artificial soul and get rid of flowey for good and also break barrier in the process. little they know, it kinda trigger back flowey and its now determined to assimilate asriel and form its perfect form.... hence, the perfect god of hyperdeath. part2
If this ever gets the second part everyone has been waiting for, it would be pretty awesome. Although I doubt it because it has already been over three years since this legend came out. If you are still working on it, keep it up!
That...was AMAZING! Truly amazing! Gaster's introduction at the beginning with his subtle indication that the following events was taking place in an alternate universe was enough that I didn't even need a full explanation as to what was going on! The way the characters reacted to one another was believable and further established what the circumstances were to the audience without need for lengthy narration that most films tend to use. The animation was awesome, It didn't need to have blood in order to make my skin crawl, the way the tendrils and plant matter moved alone was enough to give me a sense of horror at the situation that was unfolding. The animation as a whole was really well executed and you and everyone else involved in making this should be proud! Looking forward to part 2! ( OuO)/~*~*

It's funny; even after absorbing six human SOULs and becoming a god in physical form, even after showing total disregard to his own father and nearly enveloping him in that... plant flesh, even after naming this animation after him... Asriel still scares me less than Chara. The way you portrayed them here is truly terrifying, especially at 2:19: the red eyes shrouded in shadow and the quiet, abusive words that drove a person as kindhearted as Asriel to the depths of insanity. And the fact that them killing *Undyne and the Royal Guard* was only mentioned in passing... somehow, you made a normal human child more menacing than a god of hyperdeath.

Absolutely beautiful. Overwhelming Music, voice acting was realistic, and the smooth and gory animation was perfect. Truly stunning piece of artwork here. I got to say, I beg for more of this.
I absolutely love this animation- the reference to Akira entirely was very apparent. The grotesqueness of this scene was magnificent. I felt the pain with each and every motion those vines made. It's even more twisted that Asriel was doing this *just* to be with Chara. It's such a terribly tragic circumstance.
This is one of the best animations on TH-cam, everything looks amazingly smooth. I would literally pay good money to watch something like this, and I'm not even much of an anime fan. Oh God, I'm getting flashbacks of Akira now. Gagh... Great job man, this animation was amazing. The castle was amazing, you really did go to lengths with it's complete redesign. The empty space made it feel ominous and yet dignified. The souls lining up with the throne shows the power that Asgore wields right at his fingertips. The mutation that Asriel is going through is interesting too, I like how you mixed Flowey with that. It looks painful, gross, and terrifying. Just like in Akira. Flowey's face forming was pretty cool too. When I saw Strelok's logo I got excited. That man is amazing with sounds. I'm not familiar with the others, but they have my props too.The dialogue was extraordinary, especially Gaster, Asgore, and Asriel. They were really good at their lines. I've never heard someone do Gaster so well. This next part doesn't have to do with the video, but I wanted to talk about it. Some of the comments make me remember why I left the undertale fandom. People are crying and getting angry with what you're doing with it. Even if it's an AU, they should not be upset. It's fiction. Fan fiction even. Just support the work for it's quality, don't cry cause it's doing "terrible" things to your favorite characters. Jeez... Rant aside, I'm looking forward for the next part. Keep up the good work!

You could tell that he was trying to protect him and that he didn't want to hurt him. And you also captured Chara's creepiness quite nicely. Lumisau, great work on your part. :)
A little theory bit: I think Asriel was injected with determination as well and began melting when he was hit by Asgore's attack. Not sure if I'm right or not, though.
Also, the arm transformation was completely disgusting. Great job on it. It made me feel queasy. XD
the rough backstory is along the lines of chara and flowey messing around with creating an artificial soul to reform back to Asriel. the artificial soul is seen during the alphys exposition camera where it briefly scaned asriel as an artificial soul.
the reformed flowey, now being asriel started to take the manifestation of asriel's personality with the raw nature of flowey buried inside, causing a conflict between the 2 personas.
given the circumstances that lead up to where they are now, with chara having an agenda making use of asriel's power, they made their way to the barrier chamber to imbune the artificial soul with the actual souls, with a given false pretense from chara that it will stabilize the artificial soul and get rid of flowey for good and also break barrier in the process.
little they know, it kinda trigger back flowey and its now determined to assimilate asriel and form its perfect form.... hence, the perfect god of hyperdeath. part2

That...was AMAZING!
Truly amazing! Gaster's introduction at the beginning with his subtle indication that the following events was taking place in an alternate universe was enough that I didn't even need a full explanation as to what was going on! The way the characters reacted to one another was believable and further established what the circumstances were to the audience without need for lengthy narration that most films tend to use.
The animation was awesome, It didn't need to have blood in order to make my skin crawl, the way the tendrils and plant matter moved alone was enough to give me a sense of horror at the situation that was unfolding. The animation as a whole was really well executed and you and everyone else involved in making this should be proud!

It's funny; even after absorbing six human SOULs and becoming a god in physical form, even after showing total disregard to his own father and nearly enveloping him in that... plant flesh, even after naming this animation after him... Asriel still scares me less than Chara. The way you portrayed them here is truly terrifying, especially at 2:19: the red eyes shrouded in shadow and the quiet, abusive words that drove a person as kindhearted as Asriel to the depths of insanity. And the fact that them killing *Undyne and the Royal Guard* was only mentioned in passing... somehow, you made a normal human child more menacing than a god of hyperdeath.
Though normal isn’t a word I’d apply to the situation.

I absolutely love this animation- the reference to Akira entirely was very apparent.
The grotesqueness of this scene was magnificent. I felt the pain with each and every motion those vines made.
It's even more twisted that Asriel was doing this *just* to be with Chara. It's such a terribly tragic circumstance.
This is one of the best animations on TH-cam, everything looks amazingly smooth. I would literally pay good money to watch something like this, and I'm not even much of an anime fan. Kudos to the team behind this, amazing job to everyone!

Oh God, I'm getting flashbacks of Akira now. Gagh... Great job man, this animation was amazing. The castle was amazing, you really did go to lengths with it's complete redesign. The empty space made it feel ominous and yet dignified. The souls lining up with the throne shows the power that Asgore wields right at his fingertips. The mutation that Asriel is going through is interesting too, I like how you mixed Flowey with that. It looks painful, gross, and terrifying. Just like in Akira. Flowey's face forming was pretty cool too.
When I saw Strelok's logo I got excited. That man is amazing with sounds. I'm not familiar with the others, but they have my props too.The dialogue was extraordinary, especially Gaster, Asgore, and Asriel. They were really good at their lines. I've never heard someone do Gaster so well.
This next part doesn't have to do with the video, but I wanted to talk about it. Some of the comments make me remember why I left the undertale fandom. People are crying and getting angry with what you're doing with it. Even if it's an AU, they should not be upset. It's fiction. Fan fiction even. Just support the work for it's quality, don't cry cause it's doing "terrible" things to your favorite characters. Jeez...
Rant aside, I'm looking forward for the next part. Keep up the good work!
