What Charlie does it called the gish gallop, which is constructing long winded monologues including a multitude of points, making it almost impossible for the opponent to respond in completion with the goal of leaving a sour "well okay, but he didn't respond to all the points" thought in the back of the audiences heads. It's generally used to cover up incomplete or hard to defend points on their own merit, so they get stacked up instead in order to mush it all together into a cloud for the opponent to unpack for the audience. And even if this is done successfully by debate geniuses like Christopher Hitchens, it leaves a majority of the audience who don't usually follow debates behind overwhelmed by content. Needless to say it's an underhanded and frowned upon debate tactic. Most people don't understand how debates work, so there's alot of people even on Kyle's side thinking he lost. Kyle mopped the floor with Charlie on an intellectually honest level. The people who think Charlie won fell right for the gish gallop trap.

That sort of strategy doesn't work on Kyle, because like he's shown in this debate he's not afraid to interrupt someone and get to the point. And Ben has shown with the Andrew Neil interview that he's not actually good at answering questions when people press him on his answers.
I think it'd be a bloody fight, but I think that's because Ben would be desperately trying to bait Kyle and Kyle, while emotional in the way he was in this debate, would constantly be trying to steer the conversation back to the facts, not the feelings. It'd just be a chaotic mess, similarly to the Jordan Peterson vs Matt Dillahunty debate where those two argued semantics for a good long and pointless time.

I know under Nixon they studied the program and found it to be pretty effective on a small scale, but the Ayn Rand ideologues in administration made him change his mind. One of the exemptions however, was for money that was spent on internal growth, so companies and board members were encouraged to focus on development (and creating more jobs) instead of funneling it to the top like today. This is evidenced by how the average "boss" in the 50s made roughly 30x the average worker. Today it's over 350x times.
Your last point is most telling. No I think it's not preposterous to have more money in the hands of the people. Flow of goods and services is what defines prosperity in capitalism, not standard of living. However, you are laughably mistaken if you think shoveling money to corporations and wealthy elites will yield any real returns for the people. All that wealth gets condensed and encapsulated in offshore tax havens, non-liquid and property assets, investments, and bank accounts. That money DOESN'T go back into the system. THAT'S why there shouldn't be billionaires, they are sequestering trillions of dollars (combined, of course) that should be flowing freely among the entire population.
Finally, we don't actually have free market capitalism, we have state capitalism. The government has played a critical role in developing most of the technologies companies based their products on. Take the iphone: processors, touch screens, gps, the internet, coding, ALL were developed by publicly funded research. Companies would NEVER make investments in technologies that wouldn't be marketable for at least thirty years. But the public doesn't get any returns for these investments. Rather, these technologies are handed off to the public domain and sold back to us at a premium. Entrepreneurship my ass, there are scams more forgiving than this.

After a second viewing, Charlie said a lot of nothing.
Charlie really didn't hold his own though, he just looks bad the whole way through. He spends 3 minutes constructing every argument then Kyle explodes it in about 10 seconds.
What Charlie does it called the gish gallop, which is constructing long winded monologues including a multitude of points, making it almost impossible for the opponent to respond in completion with the goal of leaving a sour "well okay, but he didn't respond to all the points" thought in the back of the audiences heads. It's generally used to cover up incomplete or hard to defend points on their own merit, so they get stacked up instead in order to mush it all together into a cloud for the opponent to unpack for the audience. And even if this is done successfully by debate geniuses like Christopher Hitchens, it leaves a majority of the audience who don't usually follow debates behind overwhelmed by content.
Needless to say it's an underhanded and frowned upon debate tactic.
Most people don't understand how debates work, so there's alot of people even on Kyle's side thinking he lost.
