Daemon was actually at Harrenhal for a year in the book and I would argue that his time there is necessary in order for him to confront his demons and come to terms with all the heinous deeds he has committed. It's a process that's meant to be painful and arduous, and that's not something you can properly depict without drawing it out over several episodes.
I wonder if he's going to do the assault on harrenhal like he did in the book but if it changes somehow i wouldn't be surprised
When it comes to that scene with Halena mentioning how the bug no longer sings, If you notice, those look like little bird cages. Which brings me back to last season when Rahniese is having the discussion with Alicent about how shes a "Bird in a cage" and only wants to make a window in the walls of her prison.... Alicent no longer has ANY control. That window is now shut therefore the caged bird no longer sings. Represented by the fact she is dressing and behaving like the old caged bird she once was and now is again. Just a thought.

@@BissFlix When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. When she was on the counsel she had a "voice" to "sing". NOW, she no longer does. Just like a bird in a cage. No window to sing.... The small counsel table being her window, and her voice on it being her ability to sing.
Mysaria and Rhaenyra were not together in book, but book is chronicle, so cannot know what happenend behing closed doors... Mysaria was indeed Rhaenyra's advisor and Queen trusted her. Mysaria also snichted on Daemon when he was rumored to take a new girl for his lover, showing she chose loyalty to Rhaneyra over loyalty to Daemon.
But book Rhaneyra was indeed implied to be bi 👩❤💋👨👩❤💋👩 - it was stated she might actaully have an affair with her sister-in-law Laena, at time when Laena was wife of Daemon.😏

I'm glad they mentioned Daeron again and filled in a little of his back story. They mentioned him before in an earlier episode, but it was so brief that many people missed it. Without saying any details or spoilers Daeron will play an important role in the last two seasons. According to a recent interview of showrunner Ryan Condal they haven't even cast the part yet. I wonder if they will get a big name actor or go with an unknown.

ARCANE... was the best because there was NEVER a dull moment. Even as they made 'link-between' scenes, those had enough depth to to have us all guessing at four or five possibilities.
Marten wrote a great series of novels but, television writers are shallow, simple minded creatures that believe they are better than rhe authors whos' materials they are stealing.
Women kissing and man hating are their personal additives inserted to sway the political views of the audience. Yet, it only serves to bore because there is no depth within the reason and rhyme of the relations. We could all see that kiss coming from a mile away. No surprise, no excitment.
We need a generation of better script writers not motivated by their personal politics. Following the authors story would be a great first start.

Great reaction Biss. BTW, let's not forget, Aegon was not only a serial rapist, but allowed his bastard children to not only live in squalor, but also fight to the death for entertainment. Not a nice guy!!!😂
Aegon’s definitely not a good person, but he’s unaware of his bastard children. There’s no indication that he knows about their existence, much less that they fight at all. The children at the pits are at least 10, he’s not old enough to have a kid that age.
Though, again, this isn’t to say Aegon is a saint, but this idea of him watching his bastards at the pits holds no actual grounds.
@@lynnraven6101 LOL! I think the white haired kid that Aemon stumbled upon (without EVEN TRYING TO FIND THEM) was a big clue. Remember, this was a place Aegon was spending a lot of time at. No way that he didn't watch a fight or two!!! Oh, and BTW, even if you assume the kid was 10, which is HIGHLY DOUBTFUL, puberty for some boys starts at 12! That's plenty of time!!! 😆
@@helifanodobezanozi7689 Aegon is younger than 22, so no kid of his can be 10. It’s just not possible. Also, I’m much more inclined to believe Aegon’s actor when he says Aegon doesn’t know about his bastards. He’s drunk out of his mind more than half the time.
This literally isn’t me defending him on any way, but there legit isn’t any proof that he knows about his bastard, and it’s certain that any bastard of his doesn’t fight. He’s still a bad person for a lot of things, I’m just saying we don’t have to keep saying he’s breeding bastards to feed them to the pits when that just isn’t the case, factually.

I’m saying because he’s not 10, he’s not fighting in the pits, because the child fighters are explicitly said to be around 10. They don’t put younger children there. So no, Aegon’s bastards don’t, in fact, fight in those pits.
I’m saying to look for a real reason to hate him, and there are MANY. Aegon watching kids in fighting pits and raping someone is enough, he’s awful, you don’t have to say he willingly breeds his own children to it when it’s not true. I’m not excusing him remotely, you just insistingly deny that your initial statement is false, but that’s well enough. You evidently can’t be convinced lol.
