The Outre is such a lovely wig. I’d probably give it a darn good shake first, just to loosen up the fibres, then later, once the lace is cut I’d pluck along the part so that it’s not so perfectly straight. I really wish that these manufacturers made more blondes and browns to suit pale skin, there are many non-ethnic women who are looking for well made, and economical wigs - we can’t afford $100’s of dollars for the high end wigs. Thanks for a very interesting video.
Hi, yes, this wig is great! I cut the lace right after the video and have already worn her. When I linked to her, I was amazed at the greatly reduced current price. Thinking about picking up a backup. :-)
Thanks, Brenda. The Golden Amber and the Cinnamon Spice are my favorite Outre colors. I prefer unrooted wigs (although I do have some), and those two Outre colors have no dark root. The Emerald wig I purchased quite a while ago, and had put it aside to do an unboxing. Now that my voice is back (a very bad cold took it away) I decided to pull it out and do that. Glad I did! I really like it on. I cut the lace right after the video so I can wear it now. :-)
Never would I imagine anyone would look good in a green wig -- until now. Even though I have seen you in a green wig before, it's still hard to visualize, at least for me. But you seem to look good in everything. I'm amazed. Lovely, Shelly! 💕💕💕
Hi Cookie. Thank you! I cut the lace right after the video, and I wore the Outre in Golden Amber this morning. :-) When I added the links to these wigs, I was so surprised to see that both of these wigs are currently on sale, and at such a fantastic price, they won't last very long. :-)
Hi. I agree that their color names/numbers are difficult to decipher. Ebonyline, Hair Stop and Shop, and Divatress do a pretty good job with their color swatches in representing Outre colors. The Golden Amber (GDNAM) is a very pretty almost strawberry blonde, and is one of my favorites by Outre. I also like their Cinnamon Spice (CINSP) which is an auburn color. I haven't tried dark blonde or light brown, but on the Ebonyline website, I see HNBRN which is a honey brown, and BTSC which is a butterscotch. Both of these will have darker roots because these color codes begin with DRFF. Hope this helps!
Shelly, you look fabulous in the Emerald wig!!
Thank you so much! I really love it! I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it.

I just love the golden amber color on you! How fun to have the emerald wig! The green makes your eye color pop!
