- On today's show, Dane is joined by Jace Frederick from the Pioneer Press to take some time on an off day to look back at the Wolves' last 12 months, and reflect on how unexpected this progression by the Wolves at this speed has been to the two of us. Prior to bringing Jace in, Dane starts the show solo, discussing Rudy Gobert winning Defensive Player of the Year. In doing that, Dane tries to figure out if this was Gobert's best defensive season of his career. Specific topics and timestamps below...

Rudy DPOY and Mike TMOY highlights the massive impact those two have had on Wolves culture Leading by example and wisdom has catapulted this team into what we're seeing this season/postseason. Truly org changing players
Hey everybody, hope you're enjoying this Twolves run. I've been through two decades of pain as a fan and it all seems worth it rn. Awooooooooo
I’m 24 never seen the wolves be successful. It’s so hard for me to process that the Wolves are real championship contenders
I'm in the exact same situation.
I'm almost 40 now, and it's hard to process... i waited 84 years for this...😅
24…. Bro you’re a beginner in the Minnesota sports fan pain scale. I was born in 92, the year after the Twins won it all. I’ve been waiting as long as anyone for a championship.
@@Relayzy1you got a Twins championship so I’m not sympathetic. I was born in 92, the year after the Twins won it all. I’ve had nothing.
Denver fan here.
Congrats, your team is playing great. I just hope we can extend the series, it will be really painful for me to go in 4.
Rudy and Mitchell were ALWAYS at odds in Utah. It was not just the end days. This was widely known league wide and publicly.
They were tied in 2nd half points. Holding a 26pt lead is pretty impressive though too.
What I noticed the most with Rudy out that Wolves were hype active with their hands. They were swatting and showing hands whenever anywhere near the ball carrier. I dont think Ive seen MN attack the dribble so often. Jokic just didnt look ready for how quickly they were going to be attacking the ball. He could barely get setup without having to adjustvor pickuphis dribble. They all were forced to focus on ball control so much on a short clock, it really messed up their rythm.
not a gamer, but what is the team defense rating on the next edition NBA2K gonna look like when u max it out? Mike Tyson Punch Out stuff?
Lmao, how crazy people saying 31 years old is OLD. 35, 36 is old. That's 4-5 years.
"You can blow any lead." --Every Minnesota sports team in the last 30 years (save the Lynx).

Every game I watch now I'm critiquing defense... Knicks vs pacers, these guys can't guard for $hit... mavs vs thunder, lu dort and nuthin but bums everywhere, Celtics vs cavs, what is this amateur hour? I see softness everywhere. The nba is pathetic. The Wolfpack is gonna eat all of them
