I Sarah! I've been watching your videos for about 5 years regularly and never commented, even though I've been extremely appreciative of your content. You've really filled my own vegan journey with creativity (for a while I made your cauliflower wings for all my non-vegan friends and it swept them all off their feet!). It's really a nice stable thing in my life to follow your life and food journey and somehow have a very one sided parasocial relationship to you. I just realized how much I was actually looking forward to see a video from after your move, and figured I should probably leave a comment now to express my 5 years long appreciation of your content. This video was one of your nicest, I love how you've become more relaxed and chatty in the narrating. See you around for the next!

Hi Sarah! My favorite way of eating fennels is roasting them along with pears. After roasting, I place them over a bed of fresh greens and drizzle a bit of Balsamic syrup. Give it a try! I used to live in Atlanta Georgia back in the late 90’s. I’m sure a lot has changed since then but I only have good memories from there. Enjoy your stay, however long that may be :)

You seem so happy! For fennel, I love to roast the bulb and green stalks (mellows the flavor) or use them like you would aromatics in a soup (onion, garlic, leeks, fennel, etc). For the green fronds, I'll use it like an herb (like dill, parsley, etc) as a garnish or in a salad-y situation like potato or pasta salad. Hope it helps ya think or recipes - raw in a salad is SUCH a yummy way to go too!!

Hello from Atlanta! Welcome! I'm definitely making some corn chowder tonight - thanks for the inspo!
There's a number of great vegan restaurants here to try, but a couple of my favorite spots are Revolution Doughnuts, Ammazza Pizza, Cafe Sunflower (fun date-night spot), Green Soma Cafe, and Envegan (junk food).

You've got to try Juniors Pizza in Summerhill. Not only do they have vegan cheese, but they also have vegan pepperoni and vegan sausage (along with plenty of veggie toppings as well). And across the street is Big Softie which has the tastiest vegan soft serve and even offers vegan ice cream sandwiches that are to die for.

You can use fennel stalks. If they’re tough just peel them like you do celery and use them in the same way. I miss goat cheese with beetroot too. The best sub I’ve used is a good cream cheese. I hope everything goes really well for you in Georgia Sarah. I’m not from the US but that sounds like a big move.

You absolutely gorgeous, glowing and so happy. I think GA wants you to stay a spell. SO happy (and I am NOT vegan) that you are moving away from processed "fake meat". There is no way it can be healthy overall. I try to incorporate many meatless meals, although I believe as humans we need animal protein (it's my opinion and I am not pushing my beliefs!!) we do not need the amount most americans eat. I pull so much inspiration from you and I thank you for that. LOVE roasted beets with a splash of vinegar as well. SO HAPPY you're happy. Thank you for being such a bright spot in the world.

Other great spots are Ammazza for Neapolitan pizza, they have like 6 different ones but the pepata has arugula and is the best imo, Revolution donuts (best yeast vegan donuts ive had to date) and slutty vegan is an atl staple, although i find it quite heavy! I just got back from Denver on Tuesday morning! It’s Thursday today. My mum is house shopping in Atlanta. When we visited we went to Lithonia & in the surrounding areas I accidentally found a little ice cream shop across the St from a vegan restaurant. The ice cream shop was really cute & yummy. I have to go back for the restaurant. OH & go try slutty vegan! It was great and the vibe is fun. I’m a vegan baker & primarily make vegan slutty brownies so I always wanted to go there & tell someone lol
