Yeah, except not everyone is broken. Its still fusion, UI, labcoat meta since all of these needed serious buffs. The only difference is that the game is just more annoying now.
Just as a side note, you can actually do 5M instead of 5L with that teenhan loop for more damage. It's a tighter link and you have to do a DASHING 5M (which is notably harder to input), but it gets consistent and it'll even autocorrect itself to make future loops easier (i.e. you only have to do one "dashing" 5m and then the timing gets so much easier) Made a guide / demo on it but won't self-plug. I love the tohan stuff though man!

Better confirms, more damage, more mixups, more tricky sequences, buff normals range. I think they want to reduce one game time by getting hit as soon as possible with damage as much as possible. Party game became even more party.
I'm glad all characters are more potent, but I'm afraid this game is going to turn from a two touches to a one touch game. I wish they could keep the same changes but nerf all damage for something like 20-40%.

Majin 21 getting her final boss super is funny. If it truly is unblockable then you might only need 1 C assist to "combo" into it, since you could potentially leave them in such a way that they can't stop the super at all after recovering. I'd test this but I stopped playing a while back and would need to reinstall it
I've done this. It's silly. You definitely CAN stop it, but it's pretty tough off a C assist connecting, depending on how far you were when the C hit you. Get caught by a C fullscreen and, yeah, half ur healthbar is done for.
Baby is 100 percent top tier now, he was already broken last patch and not he’s even better. Trunks so also finally top tier now too. I’m happy they finally made goku blacks command grab fast enough to be good, but I wish they had also made his 2m 9f.

Honestly even looking at this patch, i still cant believe who thought this was good balancing or good for the game even a two months out. More skip neutral, less recovery on crazy moves, armor, another comeback mechanic. Honestly i dont think any other patch has done more to make the game feel and play so drastically different and imo for the worse.
Now every character is crazy so there's not just a few that are crazy I think every single character and team should be viable in this game now while I do think the double super thing is crazy most of the movement and combo options have opened up a whole new game
Its hype men, they finally nerf Vegito A assist but buff his counter and 2L and with the anchor buffs the meter value went up which makes a huge L for characters with meter nerfs and feels like battery characters as anchors can be deadly but idk

Legit I think if you don’t spark with trunks and do Heavy, ki blast, masenko, super dash, L, M, up heavy,, repeat then do his level 2 you can then do a level 3 if your in the corner. If it doesn’t kill then you’ll be close.

Honestly, I kinda get why they did what they did. I don't think DBFZ was ever going to have a ton of logevity as a neutral focused game centering on footsies and such in the brave new world of SF6, MK, etc. so they kind of decided just to lean into the way the game was going and try to carve out a unique niche. Is it good for the game in a competitive sense? I don't really know? Probably not. But it is exciting and makes a lot of previously sort of cut and paste white bread characters a little more interesting. Also with all the solo conversion and mix, it feels like they made every character an anchor.
Might not be the best character, but I’m glad Bardock got these buffs. Dude hasn’t really had anything noteworthy since they nerfed his B assist, so the new properties on 236M/H rebellion spear with the ol’ rebellion spear + vanish are great.
Personally I really hate the new Beerus level 1>level 3 mix but at the same time if I'm spending 4 bars on zero damage I better get a fucking mix up out of it.
It was so annoying when you had to time your ground only level 3's input so you don't do DR because it was too early and it didn't whiff because you were too late glad they fixed it
Can Ginyu combo from level 2 into body swap without being anchor or does he need to be anchor for it to work? Being able to pick which Ginyu force member you summon after his team level 3 is pretty cool. Getting that guarenteed purple comet flash Oki is sick. All the Frieza changes make me very happy. Being able to manually control when his golden form ends and being able to combo off Sorbet laser let's you maintain control instead of losing it. I'm betting you can combo into Sorbet laser if you end Golden form at the right time.
as far as I know you have to be in limit breaker, and his old combo routes into body swap no longer work from what I heard making this the only real way to do it.

Some people have such stupid pressure now you can rarely get in on them. The worst by far is the super into ult at solo; basically every game (except a straight shut out) boils down to "first to hit with their last character wins." It's honestly made the game pretty boring for me, personally. Feels like a 12 year old made this patch with the juvenile "but what if everything was super epic awesome pwnage super special awesome mode???!!!" logic at play here.
From playing new UI goku, I noticed you cant do the normal corner combo anymore. Where you 2s into the spinning ki blasts into 5 h. Because it makes whoever your fighting go behind you. This feels really bad and clunky IMO
