Even when the devs are tweaking broken moves in this game, they’ll do so in a way that demonstrates a lack of understanding of what the initial problem was. When they’re “buffing” characters, they’ll often take away very strong options and replace them with linear or awkward options. What you end up with is a game that “feels new” in all the wrong ways. We are asking for adjustments, not game breaking changes. Why is this so hard to understand? To make matters worse, we have people coming along and telling us to shut up and love this patch regardless of all the issues it brings… it’s exhausting and I totally see why this game looks far harder to enjoy competing in than ever before. Buffs that are unique and cool are welcome but they just don’t seem to understand where to stop with these changes.

I don't care what anyone says. There has to be another patch coming. You have to balance characters with the strongest character. And that's literally it. You cannot keep buffing characters and forgetting others.

I’m happy with a lot of the buffs and thankgod they finally nerfed perfect attack, and made jirens 2l a light starter. The changes to labcoat, characters like trunks and frieza etc are amazing too. But whyyyy tffff did they not nerf ss4 at all and they buffed blue gogeta even more?? Then the sparking buffs. No one wanted that we wanted the opposite. No empty vanish on spark outside of level 3. Blue Gogeta has a 7f low now tf? S brolly gets auto ki?? Some of these changes make the game more balanced, then these other changes make the game even worse and more of a party game😭😂

Before this patch, they were on the cusp of achieving a really good state of balance, and the problems they had to fix were pretty clear like Vegeta Blue 214H, Cell 214H, etc. And they decide to just throw that all away and add even more unnecessary BS without fixing the smaller problems, so now we don't even know where to look at without just going back to the previous patch. I really, _really_ thought ArcSys being directly involved was gonna mean something, but by the looks of it, Bamco didn't pull ArcSys in to get their opinions on balance, and instead, they had them step in because the current dev team didn't know how to implement all the bullshit whoever the hell Mr. Feedback is wanted like specials cancelling into specials during spark.
