Excellent video! Keep coming with more content about the Trade Wind. There are so many new features on this unit to learn about. You do a really great job of explaining.
Joe, these are excellent videos, keep up the great work and please go over a complete advanced system configuration in a component by component manner for a system that is capable of running 100% of the RV’s appliances over a realistic period of time within a realistic scenario. Thank you much! - Sincerely, Rob
Your suggestion for an in-depth look at a comprehensive advanced system configuration is a fantastic idea. I'll definitely consider creating a video that covers a complete setup capable of running all RV appliances efficiently. Stay tuned for more updates, and thanks again for your support and great suggestion! - Joe
It will charge but does not charge at a high rate to act as a generator; so it does not drain your car’s start battery. You will need to be driving to gain its intended purpose.
Thank you for watching! And some are "rugged" with off-road tires, beefed-up suspension, and 3-inch lift kits. You would be surprised where some folks venture off with their Airstream.
@@colonialairstream - Okay, I’ll concede the basecamp might be, LOL! If they had a slightly larger shower I’d consider one! But I left the Bumper and a few more things on Colorado trails on my 23FB.
The camera guy moved around too much. It also seemed like a lot of information that he ran out of breath. it would also be nice if you looked at the camera when talking to us.
Have you ever made a video? It is a LOT harder than you think. He did great in the presentation. It takes someone with experience to know that camera motion must be gradual, slow pans, etc., to not make viewers 🤮. LOL!
Nice job! Love that Trade Wind!
It's becoming a fan favorite! Thank you for watching!

Really appreciate the support! Stay tuned because you are correct, there's a lot to cover on the Trade Wind.
Great video! Very informative! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you

If one is sitting and idling, can the DC to DC charger function as a "generator" so as to put some more juice into the batteries?

Nice job 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
In the 2024 queen bed, where is the Redarc dc to dc?
Would like to know more about the dc to dc converter plug. What does the TV cabling need to be and is there a recommendation on amperage from the TV?
It has a Red Arch DC to DC converter already installed inside the trailer. The DC TV has an HDMI and CO-axel connection. It's a low amp draw TV.
I'm more interested in the door handle on the Airstream you came out of. Where can we get those?
Please contact our parts department. Parts@colonialrv.com
They are beautiful, but I’m not sure I’d call them rugged. LOL!

Does airstream make a 3 or 4 season trailer.? Maybe you can talk about them.
Technically they are not 4 seasons, we recommend you run anti-freeze through your system when temperatures get below freezing.
How to install
We offer installation services here at our dealership.
Doogie!
thanks for watching!
