Mine doesn’t turn back off on the auto position. It comes on automatically but it stays on until I manually turn it off. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
These units are supposed to run for 15 seconds after you stop welding when the auto on/off feature is on. If yours isn't shutting off, I would contact Lincoln directly. There is a chance your PC board is faulty. And these suckers are waaaaay too expensive not to be runnimg at 100% when new.
This is designed for fume extraction with welding and plasma cutting operations. There are other extractors that are designed solely for grinding debris.
Thank you so much for the video it is really beneficial , I got a question please.. is that also can handle tig weld aluminum fumes ? Is it for all type of welding fume ? Thank you so much again .
@@steelforestweldingandforge I watched your video and learned about the auto mode, it’s nice. I have changed my mind a bit, but I still think it could cost a little less. Overall I’m happy with mine too.
@@blanknone5408 it’s $1500 that can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills and preserve your lungs. Shop vacs will end up just tossing the dangerous debris back out of the exhaust side.
It’s the (expensive) filters that make the difference. Don’t make the mistake to think it’s just a shop vac. By the way a good pro level shop vac that size already costs over $500. My Fein is $650.

From my understanding, this will handle all types of welding fumes as long as you properly position the nozzle.
Congratulations, you just bought a $1500.00 shop vac. I picked mine up yesterday too, and I feel like I bought a $1500.00 shop vac too.
Well, yes. But also no. This won't catch on fire when it sucks up sparks and hot slag. So far I'm very happy with it.

I can’t believe you 2k for this and you still have to buy an extra accessory to make it work properly..

Good feedback to know. This isn't knowledge I would have since mine is stationary. Thx for watching.
