Thank you. I had the feeling that now was the time. I picked up a 2008 997.1 Turbo manual with 37tkm in February this year. I am so much into that car since years 😍 You are so dedicated to your analysis 👍! Thanks for your work!
Phenomenal information! I love the mathematical approach, and visual walk-through of the data. Thanks for following-up with a second part to the 997 Turbo!
Thank you for the detailed review, very well done as usual... You should note that the 997.1 Turbo has the Mezger engine which will eventually drive the 997.1 Turbo prices further up, ultimately surpassing the 997.2 Turbo (maybe with the exception of the turbo S)
Excellent analysis and I was once told the color could bring a premium. I have a Speed yellow 997.1 (manual) cabriolet. Increase in value? I believe the coupe is more desirable, but boy that 997 looks good with the top down (and fun as heck to drive in Spring and summer).
Fantastic content - I have watched so many of them! This particular video was really useful when deciding whether or not to purchase a low mileage 997.2 turbo with a manual gearbox - felt like a no-brainer
I love your videos and analytics (I do much the same in my role Marketing airplanes: profit profiles, lease v. buy, and aircraft comparisons). I have a question for you: I follow BAT auctions, does the season of year change the selling price? Will cabriolet sell at auction better in the spring vs Fall and Winter? I own a 2008 997.1 Turbo, manual transmission cabriolet (92K miles).
Great video. The 911 Turbo is one of two trade-ins I’m looking at for this year. In your view what would be the best way to look at Depreciation for the new Flying Spur? Thanks
Excelent analysis I have a 997.1 turbo 2009 manual but inside it has the configuration of 997.2 did you consider some of this in your analysis how rare are they?
Do the same for the 997 GTS. Modern classic. Very low production numbers (especially manuals). Actually perhaps not enough data to run a statistically relevant analysis.
You need to Relable to vid Title...You put 991 vs. 911...It had me thinking you were going to go over the 991 Turbos also.... Please do a vid on the 991.1 and 991.2 Turbo's please!!!!
There was a typo in the title, thanks for notifying me. I have a video on the 991 turbo as well but it could use an update: th-cam.com/video/A4fLDMGdFf0/w-d-xo.html
@@fourwheeltrader You're welcome. Yes, I've seen that older vid. Just when ever you see fit to do and updated one on the 991.1 and 991.2 Turbo / Turbo S's , that'd be great!! Love your work and Thank you for doing it!!!
as an ex financial market trader, l love your analytical and no-nonsense approach. I know the market for the 987 Spyder is relatively small, but if take global market then might be brought data points (can help you with data from non-English speaking countries / Europe and Asia if want
Honestly, I feel like the 997 is the real successor for the 993. Such a perfect car.
Anything manual 997 is going up up up ... last analog and modern 911. Perfect size, just one of the prettiest 911.
Love this dude. As a data guy and a sports car enthusiast, this the perfect channel for me.
Great video! 997 turbo is such a great car to drive and own! :)

I have a 2010 911 997 Turbo Cab which is still the same exhilarating drive as the first time I drove it. The feeling never goes away!

Thanks! You helped steer me from a Jaguar F Type SVR to a 997.1 Turbo!

Would appreciate your thoughts on a 2009 997.2 Targa 4S value
Enjoying my 997.2 turbo. Not looking for an appreciation in value since I am always tempted to drive it 😅. Life is short. Let's enjoy.
Great video! Soon in the market for a 997.2 Turbo S
I wonder if it is a good investment.The 997.2 Turbo S?
Wow your production quality really got a step up. Thumbs up from me
Do a 91 toyota MR2 TURBO!!! Love your vid on the LC500
Excellent video. Great car to own and enjoy. Yes, better (and much more fun) than leaving the money in the bank.
E92 M3 US market analysis would be interesting, esp. if you could include the unicorns like Lime Rock Park and Frozen editions.

Would’ve been nice to go in to detail of price comparison between a coupe turbo manual gen 1 vs convertible turbo manual gen 1
What is your view on of the 997 1.5? This has the original 1.0 engine with the 2.0 cabin / PCM.
Great video. The 911 Turbo is one of two trade-ins I’m looking at for this year.
In your view what would be the best way to look at Depreciation for the new Flying Spur? Thanks
I have a 997.2 GTS Manual with Porsche short shit kit upgrade, full leather, black, with around 85kmi for sale.
Would be fun to show 12 month trend predictions and revisit them at a later dat for further analysis
Will the Lamborghini market decrease
Excelent analysis I have a 997.1 turbo 2009 manual but inside it has the configuration of 997.2 did you consider some of this in your analysis how rare are they?
Very rare with the manual. Will be worth a lot in the future
Great video! 👍
Would love to see analysis for Mercedes Benz R129 SL600 1993' -2000 year models
1979 Porsche 930 Turbo.

True, for the 997 i believe that there are too few data points. I briefly discuss them in my gts video.
good job with the data analysis. what's your profession? machine learning engineer?
What he does has literally nothing to do with machine learning. It's just plugging data into excel and understanding statistics.
plugging data into excel ........
981 Cayman GTS analysis 2.0 please
Good idea.
Do you publicate these stats somewhere?
Working on it.
Can you review anticipated depreciation on a Uris
I did that two weeks ago. Check out my channel.
