you spend hours and hours on a prison that you think will be finally inescapable, and then someone escapes it easily even with a extra challenge
people build prisons with the knowledge that they aren’t inescapable. there are a certain set of escapes that work on every prison and are impossible to patch, so prison builders usually just ignore them

Placing chunk loaders should patch this particular escape.
@@crowbar_the_rogue Chunk loaders disable when a server restart happens, so the escapist could log on after a restart and use a light suppressor to stop any more chunks from loading

Right, I figured they would've changed it for the snapshot though since theres no way to kill cats manually since they dont take fall damage.

@@Terragaming Isn't it the exact opposite? I thought mobs only drop XP if a player hit them, while they drop items always. Otherwise how would farms work? And why is it that all the XP farms require people to hit them?

@@gamingwithpankajagarwal6773 although that would likely stop attempts to break in, the problem with that idea is that there's nothing stopping the prisoner from breaking out
just stuff the best prison into a random dimension, problem solved
put the prison on random coords and you have 60,000,000 x 60,000,000 x 2,174,483,648 so a random dimension + random coords has a 1 / 7,730,584,732,800,000,000,000,000 chance of finding the prison, not to mention making it extremely difficult to break in
youd need to know what the actual book is, a password type situation
of course the secrecy of location is a worthless defense as the player visiting can easily grab everything nessecary to find the dimension the prison is in

fun fact: the exploit doesn't work on Linux due to right clicking a window not actually freezing it (at least in plasma, idk about other desktop environments)

@@l3gacyb3ta21 it works on Mac (lunar and badlion and other clients won’t). You just have to right click hold the yellow minimise/green fullscreen button instead

I love imagining you actually building the flying machines in the goofy snapshot. I don't doubt that it's technically possible, but it surely would be an experience.
new almost unpatchable break ins for prisons: 1. use wither bore to tunnel in. 2. use rail flying machines to build a highway to the center. 3. right click on the top bar and go into prison. 4. disable suicide switch. 5. Break the prisoner out! i believe in you

Hey kenadian what would happen if you built a prison around the world spawn? Because in most of your escapes it involves dying with no spawn point wouldn’t it just put you back in the prison?
the way world spawn works is it spawns you on the highest block possible, so if there’s a roof over the prison you’ll spawn on top of the roof.
if you set it with commands i think you get around this, but then if someone is outside and has no spawn point set, when they go through an end exit portal they’ll spawn at world spawn with all of their inventory.

then if it was in a server you'd end up with half of the people stuck in there eventually

You don't need 9 crafting tables.
Any 3x3 platform with a crafting table in the middle can do the trick.

Fact: the one block at a time snapshot can actually make prisons easier (sometimes)
E.g. a prison with a huge layer of obsidian would take forever to mine through but in the snapshot it is easy as heck
Edit: I’m so dumb I thought on one block at a time any block could be picked up almost instantly

The madman really found a way to go into chunkbans for this escape.

He has made a machine that shoots tens of enderpearls when a cat detects him leaving the game, making it so there's just enough time for the pearl to teleport him, when he joins back, he appears at the complicated stasis chamber instead of being chunkbaned. He used that to force a portal into the prison, get banned, come back, and send TNT minecarts through the portal to kill the mobs that dispense the bans
