I recently got into football after a friend showed me Messi highlights and I was amazed and wondered how it was possible someone can do that with a football. How does the transfer system work? Can a team decide to sell a player against his will? How much power does the player have in this process? Could you please explain the structure of world football? What is FIFA, UEFA? What is their purpose, what is the relationship between them, and how much power do they have? Do the rules differ between leagues in different countries? Could you explain why there are so many competitions and who organizes them? Could you explain the financial structure of world football? Why is there relegation? Does it make sense from a financial standpoint? This is all very confusing for a beginner, could you make one or more videos about this?
in pro league, they have a contract (just like any other sports), if a team want a player but he is still in contract, they'll have to pay for that. a player can move team to team freely if they don't have any contract. the last 3 question is depends on the contract, or player performance. there is a video about loans on yt but i don't remember. FIFA is the highest governing body of football. UEFA is the administrative for European region, AFC for asia, OFC for Oceania, CAF for Africa, CONCACAF for North America, and CONMEBOL for South America, and also for every country which i can't mention 1 by 1. Put it simply, their purpose is to manage football xD. They all mostly follows rules made by FIFA. Some leagues are more popular than the other simply because they are more attractive. Friendly match usually occur before a season starts to test/experiment their strategy. there are so many league because every country has their own league and there is a prizepool. Teams can also get money from sponsor, ticket sales, and some merchandise. Relegation? well, it's very common except for usa so i feel weird about your question and i don't know how to explain it. i'm not an expert and english is not my main language so please correct me if i'm wrong
Just some extra things which are important. - Offsides can't be called from set-pieces (corner, throw-in and goal kicks). - When you are on the halfway line (going onto the opposition's half), and you receive the ball with no opposing player playing you onside, you are onside. - Advantages last 4-5 seconds and if any opposing player touches the ball in that countdown there will be a free-kick.
Went to my first match last week, hated footy before, but being there it was fantastic, instantly fell in love with the sport. Didn't have a clue what was happening 😂, but glad I found this video. Thanks.
I play mostly rugby, but Im learning the rules and how to play football because all of my friends play it.Everytime they play football or Futsal I only get to sit on the side of the pitch just watching them,so Im trying my best even tho I think its late to start at 17 unlike most people even start at 5 years old playing football.I’ve tried playing it when I was in primary school but all of my friends at the time said I was horrible and asked me to get out of the field because of my bad playing. Its hard learning at a public field when all the egoistic players always mock me when I cant even dribble a ball perfectly which always makes me want to stop learning how to play. But thanks for making this video @Unisport,this really helped me 👍🏻
You’re not late at all, sure others will have an advantage but you can definitely become at least an average player starting at 17 years old, just watch a LOT of matches, as man as you can, especially the top teams in the world, then start by taking a ball by yourself and just train by kicking up against a wall wherever you can, that’s how most of us learned as kids, then start having small kick about sessions with your mates
I'm a die hard indian cricket fan but my team's losses are messing up my mental health. So, here i am trying to start watching football as a neutral so that i can actually enjoy a sport.
@@_kush_2006 i know brother, i try to. But I've been watching cricket for a long time and losses like this year's semi final and last year's pak loss depressed me for days and weeks after. I am not even an emotional guy but cricket does trigger something😅
I've seen many boys into football, never knew why but today I have the answer. I'm going to start watching football now. The explanation was amazing, thank you.
m in the same position as you mate, after the 2022 world cup i started LOVING football, before i didnt like it that much and maybe even disliked it, just because ive had one bad experience in school, and that was the only time ever ive participated in football, but now im getting into it and training every day at home
I've been wanting to get into football for a couple years now but it's just really hard considering how universal the sport is and how many different leagues there are... It just feels really hard to find a starting point for me.
See the premier league which is domestic league of England lot more competition sic teams are very top teams there most out of all Europe country top division leagues Europe is the best country of football to watch the most famous with top players the top 4 of each country the previous season there gets to be in a tournament that also happens during the season with the domestic leagues happening called champions league which is tournament too crown Europe's best team yeah football has the domestic leagues and tournaments that happen simulataneously throughout a 9 month period plus there is no trades and stuff a person can sign from an English premier league team and then sign to a German top division team the next season no drafts also...
I was the same at one point but to help you, UEFA is the best league and there are 5 major leagues in it which are… the Premier League (English) La Liga Santander (Spanish) Serie A (Italy) League One Uber Eats and yes I know it’s title is weird due to promotion deals and what not but that one is French and there is lastly the Bundesliga (German) all these leagues are the best in the world tbh regardless of peoples taste. My personal favorite is the premier league although my favorite team isn’t there (Real Madrid) simply because there is more action in my opinion. But there is something truly special about ALL of these 5 leagues and that’s when the top 4 teams of each UEFA league come together and clash for the ultimate title as champion. And this event is called The Champions League!!😮😮 In my opinion the only event that’s better than the champions league is the World Cup.
But the only way you’ll learn which team is your favorite out off all these teams is by watching and learning them. It takes time to actually develop a favorite team but once you do, you’ll love that team dearly. Regardless of bad times or good times. So just go out there into the world of UEFA and see for yourself, good luck 👍🍾🤙

The Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the beginning,God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them.He made mankind in His image and gave them dominion over the earth. The first man and woman to be made were Adam and Eve and they were made perfectly. They lived in the Garden Of Eden and they were commanded by God to eat anything from the trees in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Unfortunately,Adam and Eve ate from the tree due to temptation from the devil. That act brought sin, suffering and death into the world.People had to atone (or pay) for their sins using animal sacrifices and live by this set of rules given to them by a man named Moses to stayed righteous and what they had to do to escape second death(which is what we get or deserve because we sin). There once was a man called Abraham who was and special because he just had believed in God and he was counted as righteous.(Genesis 15:6).This made him escape death.God told Abraham that through His descendants all nations on earth will be blessed(Genesis 22:18).This blessing was through a man named Jesus Christ. He is God's only begotten Son and was sent by God the Father to become a human whilst being a 100% man, live a life without sin and die for everyone's sins, which he did.Now we bo longer have to work to receive salvation and escape the second death. How to receive salvation. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-29 “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him.” - John 3:36 Call upon the name of Jesus “And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Acts 2:21 “…Now is the day of salvation.” - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Confess Jesus as your Savior “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” - Romans 10:9-10 Change your mind about sin. “So get rid of all immoral behavior and all the wicked things you do. Humbly accept the word that God has placed in you. This word can save you.” - James 1:21 Prayer Guide If you want to invite Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord, receive God’s forgiveness and sincerely wish to turn from your wicked ways, talk to Him sincerely since He still knows everything. You can use these points to talk to Him. Thank You Lord, for dying on the cross to take away my sins. I am sorry for the wrong things I have done. Please forgive me. I receive You into my life right now to be my Savior and Lord. Please change my life and make it new and help me Lord to live for you. Amen. Things that you have to know as a Christian: .Being a Christian isn't easy. There will be trials, temptations, doubt and there might be times where we might be ashamed of being a follower of Christ.1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it".There will be times were you might feel lost or anxious. .God the Father,God the Son(or Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit are three different persons with different roles but they are the same God,not gods(the Triune God,tri meaning three, une meaning in unity). It's hard to form a ln example to explain this better without forming a heresy or lie. .Jesus Christ, whilst He was on earth was a 100% man and a 100% God.He didn't consider being equal to god as anything but He made Himself nothing and made Himself like a servant, being made in human likeness(Philippians 2:6-7). .When you become a Christian/are saved, you receive the Holy Spirit. He will help you in your walk with Christ, remind us of what Jesus said and will teach us all sorts of things. .There might be times that we sin.Even though we die to sin and the flesh as we get baptized and/or repent, there might be times that we slip up but we have to turn to God and ask for His forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. As Christians,we must strive to be righteous and holy, or set apart from others, and ask God for His grace(something we get from God but don't deserve) and mercy(kindness thay we don't deserve). 1 Peter 1:15-16 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;for it written:"Be holy, because I am holy. Hebrews 12:14 [14]Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 [7]For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life

I'm pretty sure there is an Italian footballer who started playing in his 20s, and is now a fairly well known footballer for a top club. I forgot his name, but it's certainly proof that it's never really too late to start playing.

DOGSO is a common acronym in football. It is called Denial of Goal Scoring Opportunity. Usually this happens when a defender illegally interferes with the offender with the possession of the ball on the way to scoring a goal at the penalty-box area. The defender and the whole team who gets caught illegally denying a score in the penalty box area will earn a penalty kick to the other team, and usually a yellow card to the defensive "offender" responsible for that DOGSO.
Hey You didn't tell about the rule on Goals and not goal Like if the ball rolls only till the line of the goalpost or on the line , it is considered as not a goal🙄😁

“He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him.” - John 3:36
Call upon the name of Jesus
“And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Acts 2:21
“…Now is the day of salvation.” - 2 Corinthians 6:2
Confess Jesus as your Savior
“That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” - Romans 10:9-10
Change your mind about sin.
“So get rid of all immoral behavior and all the wicked things you do. Humbly accept the word that God has placed in you. This word can save you.” - James 1:21
Prayer Guide
If you want to invite Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord, receive God’s forgiveness and sincerely wish to turn from your wicked ways, talk to Him sincerely since He still knows everything.
Amen.
Things that you have to know as a Christian:
.Being a Christian isn't easy. There will be trials, temptations, doubt and there might be times where we might be ashamed of being a follower of Christ.1 Corinthians 10:13
says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
As Christians,we must strive to be righteous and holy, or set apart from others, and ask God for His grace(something we get from God but don't deserve) and mercy(kindness thay we don't deserve).
1 Peter 1:15-16
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;for it written:"Be holy, because I am holy.
Hebrews 12:14
[14]Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:7
[7]For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life

Glad this video only has 200k views in 2 years. many ppl know football. NOICE
played the sport for 14 years still watched the video
As a fan of MMA (UFC) and Boxing, this video helps a lot for someone who wants to learn a sport literally everyone keeps talking about in the UK. As a 17 year old, is it too late to practice?
I'm pretty sure there is an Italian footballer who started playing in his 20s, and is now a fairly well known footballer for a top club. I forgot his name, but it's certainly proof that it's never really too late to start playing.
am lost overwhelmed but still a good guide for beginners 8/10

Ok.... I think i am ok with cricket 🙂
DOGSO is a common acronym in football. It is called Denial of Goal Scoring Opportunity. Usually this happens when a defender illegally interferes with the offender with the possession of the ball on the way to scoring a goal at the penalty-box area. The defender and the whole team who gets caught illegally denying a score in the penalty box area will earn a penalty kick to the other team, and usually a yellow card to the defensive "offender" responsible for that DOGSO.
yay now dummies can play football

Hey You didn't tell about the rule on Goals and not goal
Like if the ball rolls only till the line of the goalpost or on the line , it is considered as not a goal🙄😁
So glad this came up on the search first and not the rugby one
Imma be the first to say it
