    Do you think the Switch 2 will be technologically outdated before it’s release?
    Do you think it’ll have 4K DLSS upscaling and stable 60 fps?
    Do you agree with this potential timeline for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch?
    How do you think it will happen? Share your speculations

      I don’t think the price will really affect much, people are going to buy this like hotcakes for their kids. I have doubts about the hardware capabilities but we’ll see soon enough

    They should make the battery removable. That would be a G A M E - C H A N G E R

    • @ItsTheZigMan
      @ItsTheZigMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed! What kind of battery do you think would be best?

      @@ItsTheZigMan A single AA cell has 2,000 to 3,000 MAH, but their cylinder shape is inefficient for Switch which is designed like a rectangular box. So, I would design 4 x AA cells all lined up in a row at the top of the display and 4 at the bottom. This would result in large top and bottom bezels but they'd be curved in the same shape as an AA battery. 8 x AA battery = 16,000 to 24,000 MAH at 1.5v - Nintendo has used AA in portables in the past. Or, just design a custom Li-Ion, like how Samsung used to do it.

    They should make the Switch use NVMe instead of Micro SD.

      What kind of affect on the price point do you think having an NVMe would have?

      @@ItsTheZigMan It'd definitely be higher, but it'd eliminate loading times. A 500gb nvme drive, at consumer price, is 50 bucks, so I'd imagine Nintendo gets them WAY cheaper, but nowhere near as cheap as flash storage, which is probably like a buck.

    • @ItsTheZigMan
      @ItsTheZigMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      @rwjehs8101 Agreed, Nintendo would definitely up charge that onto the consumer. No loading times would definitely be worth it

      @@ItsTheZigMan Nintendo wouldn't even need onboard storage. They would use those costs to buy a cheap 64 gb or 128 gb NVMe and if the cust wants more, then it's a cheap and easy upgrade path using much faster storage and much higher top capacity.

    60 fps?

      It’ll allegedly have 4K DLSS upscaling and stable 60 fps. But that remains to be seen. We’ll see soon enough

      Wake up Valve is the new handheld king. Only reason I keep getting Nintendos is for first party games. Hardware garbage

    • @ItsTheZigMan
      @ItsTheZigMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      @remyz2201 In your opinion, what makes Valve the better handheld?

    • @remyz2201

      @@ItsTheZigMan Steam Deck is the beginning steps of now gold rush sector of PC gaming handheld. I’m currently playing BG3 on it handheld unplugged. Do you ever think Nintendo can come up with a handheld that can play BG3 in at least 800p in portable mode. Nintendo had ages to do it and were the leaders and yet Valve comes out of nowhere and makes an inferior version of it. Better graphics, processing power, display, operating software and it doubles as a computer all in a handheld factor. Nintendo dead at least their hardware side.

    No idea what the T239 chip is like I can't find any benchmarks on it, I was happy with the 12 Gb but now it's just 8Gb of RAM I'm a little skepticle of how well Developers will optimise it. I've got the OLED Switch and I had the V1 in 2019 and I will admit the performance even back then was disappointing, the system is very slow and the online offers so little benefits compared to other companies. Breath of The Wild, Splatoon 3 and Animal Crossing NH is the only saving grace of that system in my opinion.
    I think I'll go with a Rog Ally Z1 Extreme and emulate in all honestly. But I have a soft Spot for Nintendo even though they're so anti consumer

    • @ItsTheZigMan
      @ItsTheZigMan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah and aside from OLED, the Switch hasn’t had any major performance hardware updates. I would have loved to see 16Gb or more for RAM

      @@tocj Not really, iPhones cost 3 times the price of a Switch and use the most powerful military grade components with the latest architecture. In a lot of ways the Nintendo switch has always been a very outdated tablet with low tier components since the day of its release.... It's actually capable of running BOTW Natively at 60fps.... but of course...they severely underclocked the already weak components for the sake of battery life without giving the user any option to run the switch at its full potential because Nintendo lol
