It really wasn't entirely his fault how the season ended. He actually made quite a smart decision, but it would be great to finally see him do the dance!
Neil Gaimen has said that he has said that he has the storyline for season 3 all planned out, now it just depends on how the strikes go, and if Amazon renews it. He also said that if all else fails, he’ll publish season 3 as a book.
It's understandable why Neil was so pissed when the kiss was leaked in june, he knew people might get their hopes up for a happy ending without the context. I somehow avoided getting spoiled while being aware something was leaked until i saw a screenshot the night before finishing the season, dang it.
I think regardless of whether there's a happy ending or not, the fact that there IS a kiss is such a huge thing to be leaked :( I never actually saw the spoiler, but I saw people's reactions to it, and the general excitement as well as people saying stuff like "i wish I could've been surprised" led to me correctly guessing what it would be
I didn't even know it was leaked, I don't have twitter and don't go often in my fb so I watched it completely blind, and I completely understand his anger
Omg it was the same for me!!! My friend saw the leak and warned me! I avoided it all this time only to see a fanart one day before binging the season 😢
Oh god, same!! I didn't know it was leaked, but I still managed to accidentally spoil for myself about the kiss (AND the fact that it's going to be something heartbreaking)!! 😭😭
Aziraphale believes he can change the system from the inside, Crowley has been a higher up in heaven and knows it won't work. Also, again, they SUCK at communication, Aziraphale doesn't know many things Crowley does and Crowley doesn't understand that Aziraphale feels very rejected as well. I think he believes Aziraphale wants him to be an angel so that he can be "good" for Aziraphale and he isn't good enough as he is, but I honestly think Aziraphale just wants to be with Crowley and if he has a chance to make life better and fix the system from the inside he can't in good conscience not at least TRY. They love each other, but they are also being idiots again and miscommunicating.
I agree with most of what you said, but I do think that part of Aziraphale has never accepted Crowley. He loves him, sure, but the fact that he is a demon is always on the back of his mind. Remember, Crowley has always been the instigator of their relationhip. Aziraphale is the one who always hesitated and once explicitly said that Crowley goes too fast for him. Aziraphale still believes that angels and Heaven are pure / good, while demons and Hell are corrupted / evil, despite all evidence to the contrary. This mindset would naturally extend to Crowley as well. Unconsciously, Aziraphale probably does see Crowley as "dirty", to an extent. That's why he thought Crowley would accept becoming an angel again, and is confused when he refuses, because who would want to be a demon? He even dismisses Crowley's argument that he was offered a position in Hell and refused, because it's Hell, and nobody would want to be there. I'm not just blaming Aziraphale for their fight, mind you, I just think he never truly accepted Crowley for who he is. He thinks Crowley "doesn't understand what he's oferring him". Basically, Aziraphale is in a cult, and the beliefs of that cult are hurting his relationship with Crowley.
@@scarletowl4556 actually, I found a post that Neil Gaiman liked. It is a bit long but here it goes: So, I feel like I’m losing my mind. I keep seeing metas about how Aziraphale wants Crowley to return to Heaven and be an angel again because he wants them to be on the same side/be good/change/etc., etc., etc. but I don’t see that at all. I actually see it as the very opposite. Aziraphale loves Crowley just as he is. But there’s something more. Something huge. Aziraphale loves Crowley and because he is an angel who is stuck in seeing things as black and white, he constantly praises Crowley for being nice. For being good. For being kind. Aziraphale has watched Crowley on and off for 6,000 years. He watched him thwart the plans of Heaven and Hell because it was unjust. He spared the lives of innocents. He did small things that made Aziraphale happy just because (like making Hamlet successful and saving valuable books). And because Aziraphale sees things in black and white, he sees all the things Crowley has done as nice, as good, as kind. Crowley vehemently attests he’s not nice or good or kind. He’s not exactly wrong nor is he lying when he says this. When Crowley spares goats during a cruel bet over a righteous man and swallowing laudanum to prevent a suicide, when he prevents Armageddon by working with Aziraphale and stopping the Anti-Christ from being the Anti-Christ, he’s not doing the nice/good/kind thing. He’s doing the right thing. Crowley chooses to do the right thing without hesitation. He is better than all of Heaven and Hell who have callous and dispassionate view of all existence because he questions, because he makes choices. Crowley sees the world for all its messiness and he sees himself. He sees a place where he fits in. He sees the blurred edges. And Aziraphale sees that, even if seeing the blurred edges is hard for him. But here’s the thing that Aziraphale can’t voice. It’s the reason why he told Crowley about being allowed to return to Heaven and become an angel again. He doesn’t want Crowley to change. He doesn’t think Crowley is flawed. Or not enough. It’s something that is so monumental that it cannot be put into words. Because to put it into words would be more than blasphemy. It’s down right unthinkable for anyone in Heaven, Hell, or Earth to say what Aziraphale knows deep in his soul. God was wrong to cast out Crowley. Aziraphale believes Crowley can/should return to Heaven because he knows that Crowley should never have fallen in the first place. He wants him to be forgiven because when Crowley fell it was unjust. Aziraphale is trying to correct a mistake. He’s trying to do the right thing. Yes, Crowley would never accept returning to Heaven. And Aziraphale was wrong to even suggest it (although that conversation is another can of worms to unpack). Aziraphale loves Crowley. He loves him exactly as he is. He doesn’t want him to change. Aziraphale knows that Crowley the best of all of them. He wants to change Heaven because of it. Because God was wrong and Aziraphale knows it. Aziraphale may have difficulty seeing beyond black and white, but when it comes to Crowley he sees everything crystal clear and in vivid color.
S3 hasn’t been confirmed, but yes, s2 was written as a bridge between s1 and a possible sequel. Unfortunately, Sir Terry Pratchett passed away before he and Neil Gaiman wrote the sequel, but they had discussed it and had ideas.
Neil has also confirmed that he is ready to go with season 3 and if Amazon doesn’t pick it up, he’ll write it as a book. We will get it one way or another.
Ngl I didn't remember what you were referring to so when I clicked the timestamp, that was a little too iconic tbh. You picked the perfect shot, I'm cry-laughing rn 💀
Bad news: Neil has mentioned that a new season would come out in 2026 at the earliest, cause of the amount of vfx and all that post production stuff. And he would've been writing it already if it weren't for the strike, although he's done with the 1st ep and the last 15 minutes apparently. Good news: Neil's also said that if the show doesn't get renewed he'll write a novel to finish the story. Otherwise yeah, a lot of people had seen that picture or knew about it, but none of us considered the context could be so devastating 😭
I think the Metatron is purposely trying to split up Aziraphale and Crowley not only because they could throw a spanner the works again with the second coming but also because in the first episode when they both cast the miracle on Gabriel to hide him they only cast half a miracle each and for some reason it suped up the strength of the miracle and maybe the Metatron doesn't want them to work out how powerful they are when they combine miracles. The Metatron could end up being the villain in the next season he's definitely up to something, you also hear the miracle sound when he's convincing Aziraphale to come with him.
I hadn't noticed the miracle sound effect when I first watched, now that you mentioned it's all the more heartbreaking that the Metatron miracled Aziraphale into going back to Heaven, and he still hesitated when he saw Crowley, like not even a miracle can make him completely ignore his feelings.
So many people I talked to automatically align themselves with Crowley especially during the last 10 minutes, they don't take the time to see Aziraphale. They don't listen and they don't pay attention. When Aziraphale tells Crowley they can go back to Heaven together, the most important part for him is the "we" and "together". He doesn't want to change Crowley, he wants to bring him "home" and he wants to bring justice to what has been done to Crowley. And the Metatron's offer is that one chance- Aziraphale doesn't accept it until he gets the additional offer to restore Crowley's angelic status. He does have the b/w thinking for sure, but that doesn't mean he can't accept and love Crowley for who he is. Aziraphale wants to fulfil his purpose as an angel, but he wants to do it with the one who has always been with him. He's so desperate when he realizes that Crowley doesn't want to go back- the way he runs back and forth all panic-stricken after their kiss and the Metatron's return kills me every time. On a side note: no one ever took the time to talk with Aziraphale about his own feelings. Nina and Maggie went back to the bookshop to confront them both, but ended up only talking to Crowley. Aziraphale had to deal with an overload of emotions all on his own, he wasn't prepared to be rejected and he surely wasn't prepared for that kiss, he couldn't handle the entire situation. But people keep scolding him for being an "idiot" and being "cruel". And that IS cruel.
I think Aziraphale really want to make a difference, he loves the human world and the best way to keep it safe is to be in charge. It's sad that Crowley only loves Aziraphale while Aziraphale also loves the world, he can't just simply leave it all behind, and i think that's part of the reason that he was offer the job to run the heaven.
An interesting fact is that Metatron is considered an ascended angel in the Bible, so Metatron was once human. And he is dressed in black, which is different from the default white outfit of other angels; he is more human like Crowley and Aziraphale than other demons and angels. It can be said that he should be the biggest villain in the third season.
I think crowley loves the world as well, but he doesn't want to fight for it by working with heaven. We know he was a powerful angel, which means he knows far better than Aziraphale does that heaven won't change. They just need to have a long conversation and just fucking talk to each other at this point 😭
The thing is, I don't believe Crowley "only loves Aziraphale". If that were the case, why was he drowning his sorrows in S1 when he thought Aziraphale was dead, rather than just running away? Why is he the one asking questions about the shady stuff Heaven is doing - from his fall to the Jobe thing and beyond? He feels like he's the character for whom the line "your reign of terror would end with the first crying child" was written. He acts like he doesn't care, but he still very much does. Put that another way, I can picture Gabriel and Beelzebub sitting in space watching Earth burn during the Second Coming and regarding that as their afternoon entertainment. I can't for the life of me see either Aziraphale or Crowley doing that.
The song playing when Crowley got in the car felt like a personal attack. I read the Bible dozens of times growing up, and Aziraphale is going to hate the Second Coming. He'll deeply regret not going with Crowley.
We've seen many versions of the Eric 'the disposable demon' (the one that keeps getting killed). There were three of them in S1, IIRC, and a few of them in this season that have been killed. Not sure if he's just a bunch of clones or what, but it seems to be a running gag that he's always there with the demons, only to be killed again and again.
I love his character! His friendly face and overall look with false lower lashes and the devil horn hair.. I always look forward to seeing him. Thanks for mentioning his name, I didn't know it.
I loved watching your reactions to this! It feels nice knowing I wasn't the only one who cried lol 🥲 Really hoping season 3 is made and soon, but I'm willing to wait as long as it takes to see Crowley and Aziraphale happy together again.
Regarding Crowly being a high up angel.. He was responsible for the "Let their be light" which makes him a Cerebrum (Wayyyyyy above Arcangel) So was Azeraphale (Cerebrums have flaming swords which we see Az lose in a season 1 cut away) so we can assume he was heavily demoted. While Gabriel is an Arcangel by name and technically much lower than where Crowly and Az start when you look at ranks he (Gabriel) is somewhat unique being of the first host (first angels created) Along with Michael, Raphael, and Lucifer. As such he has incredibly power only equal or beaten by Michael, Raphael, Lucifer and Metatron
Neil has said that the ranking doesn’t follow that specific order, think he has a FAQ pinned on his tumblr page that discusses things like the hierarchy of angels in good omens
@@trudivination8497 Also, dialogue says to know the "password" that Crowley does you would need to be a Throne or Dominion. Cerebrum are Thrones. Neil is just covering himself, rightfully so.
You should probably change the thumbnail or blur it if you really want to use that image because I know lots of people who haven’t seen it yet Edit: they changed it to be a bit less spoilery now
It's been 22 days since it came out. It's no longer people's responsibility to be careful not to spoil anything. If someone hasn't seen it yet then it's their own fault if they get spoiiled. I would've agreed if it had only been a week or something, but not 22 days.
@@sannaolsson9106 1. Some people don’t have time or they might be finishing a different show first like one of my friends. 2. Someone who haven’t watched this might come across it or be recommended it if they are watching reviews/behind the scenes. I got recommended reactions when I had only been watching behind the scenes and that was fine because I’ve already seen it all and I like seeing reactions because I have no friends who will watch it with me. Also this is massive finale spoiler it might put someone off the whole show. I saw this from the leak about 2 weeks before the show came out so I have never experienced watching this and genuinely not expecting the kiss and I never will. And I’m ok with that it’s still a great show but some people will be turned off by major spoilers like this.
@@androart1817 Doesn't work like that though. Again, it's been over two weeks. If we're gonna wait for everyyone to finish watching something then we can never talk about it.
@@sannaolsson9106Whether it's been 3 weeks or 6 months doesn't change anything. You just don't put the big "twist" as your thumbnail. Imagine putting a beloved character death from a show as a thumbnail. That's a big spoiler for anyone that comes across it. As a rule people wouldn't do that. I think the kiss should be treated the same way. especially because when this scene got shown in an trailer a month before release, Neil Gaiman himself got super pissed that the moment got taken out of context and ruined for everyone.
I’m still an Aziraphale apologist, because if he were to truly see that heaven is neither good, nor kind, or it’s not all that pure, What does he have left? In his mind, his entire purpose is to do good. When can you do good? when you are in power. unfortunately for him, the Metatron probably saw the amount of power that him and Crowleys spell released and thought if he can get a powerful angel on his side or separate the two of them then they possibly couldn’t revolt against Him (Im almost 100% sure he knew Crowley would say no). Crowley has been on both sides. He has that advantage. He has been an angel. He asked a question and he fell because of it. He’s been a Demon and he hated it so he has the opportunity and experience to be able to say it’s not all black and white meanwhile Aziraphale has always just been an angel. So of course it’s always going to be black and white for him because from what we’ve seen out of all the angels Azi is definitely the purest of them all. However, Crowley and Aziraphale also have a communication problem. Crowley never told Aziraphale that they wanted to cast him in hellfire as far as I know, and he never told him what he found out when he went to heaven with Muriel, they don’t communicate so even if he could open Aziraphale’s eyes, they don’t talk enough, so he hopes Aziraphale will come to the decision himself, but he can’t. Even at the end of season one, he wasn’t trying to cut ties with heaven, he was trying to stop the end of the world there’s a difference. Crowley doesn’t care that he cut ties with hell, Azi on the other hand always wanted to stay working with heaven because he believed he could do good with that. They have a big communication problem, but I’m still gonna stand by my millennia old entity like what happened to letting he/she/they make mistakes or have hobbies?
I think Aziraphale knows, at the end, just how much trouble he is in. He's been hired to run Armageddon #2. He needs to stop it, knowing heaven doesn't trust him, and will destroy him on the thinnest of evidence. Backing out, for example. And he can't warn Crowley because that would endanger him.
Neil Gaiman said that if amazon won't end up renewing it for s3 he'd release it as a book! i would be super sad about not seeing it with actual actors, but we'll know what happen either way. yeah the ending snuck up on me too, i was aware before watching that the next season won't be for a while because of the strike, and in the last episode i was like "this was nice and satisfying, i think i can forget this show for 4 years and conveniently remember before s3 :)' and then the ending happened
Was soooo surprised when Ineffable Bureaucracy (Gabriel/Beelzebub) became canon, but it definitely works for me! Who would've guessed one of fandom's crack-ships would sail! And they're just so darn cute! (Plus, thumbs up for YET ANOTHER queer ship on the show -- I love how all of the ships this season were queer ones: Crowley/Aziraphale, Nina/Maggie, Gabriel/Beelzebub, Elsbeth/wee Morag, etc). ❤🌈
I few days I found a fanvideo here on YT from 4 yrs ago and someone arced up about that "weird" idea of Gabriel/Beelzebub. I just commented "So how do you feel now after S2 finale?" Didn't receive an answer yet. 😆
It's so good. Az hasn't fully accepted the fact that his previous life was toxic. He still drinks that koolaid. He still thinks he can fix them. It's so true to life. Still breaks my heart, though.
Something im probably way to proud of is the fact that i predicted Gabriel and Beelzebub getting together canonically about 1 1/2 weeks before the season came out (and i had been shipping them for long before that)
i never shipped them bc i couldn't really see them like that, and even now it seemed rushed(to me), but i dont really care now cuz they are just too cute together🥺🥺
I have changed the thumbnail for now, because I saw some people talk about it. The show has been out for over 3 weeks now and people really need to realize it's not anyone else's responsibility for them to avoid spoilers. The internet is filled with these pictures, fan arts, fan video's etc. so if you haven't seen it yet and you still care this much about not getting spoiled, it's your own responsibility to avoid them. Most TH-camrs feel comfortable using spoilers in their videos/thumbnails after a week, so I've taken enough time before posting it. However I don't want to be the reason people get spoiled right now, so I'll change it, but please be careful in the future if you haven't seen a certain show while it's been out for so long already, because people will post about it no matter what, and believe me, most of them don't wait three weeks before doing so.
The excuse that 'everybody else is doing it' is pretty shitty to be honest. Sure, you have to be careful what you look at, but with algorithms shoving things in your face constantly it can be practically impossible to avoid. I watched it all as soon as it was up, but I've seen so many comments from people who weren't able to, saying they had been spoiled by other people's carelessness. It's a bloody shame that people are so thoughtlessly selfish these days. While I'm glad that you were decent enough to change it, in the future just don't use a screenshot of the biggest spoiler for your thumbnail. Simple. Problem solved.
I know it’s been 3 weeks. And you’re right there’s nothing stopping you from doing it. But not using the spoilers for the thumbnail is just the respectful thing to do. Lots of us were spoiled this ages ago from the leak and we are just trying to protect new fans.
@@Bindi342if you haven’t watched it all you shouldn’t be watching good omens videos on TH-cam or anywhere else yet, which means you won’t get Good Omens videos because of the algorithm, it’s really as easy as that. If I really don’t want spoilers for something I make an effort to avoid them, I sometimes don’t use socials media at all because I’m afraid of getting spoiled and watch the show as fast as possible. Almost all of my friends do the same and as you can see, Weena still got spoiled. It might be a bit extreme, but it’s just reality with people posting everything on social media instantly. I also have been spoiled by thumbnails a couple of times. Do you see me blaming the TH-camr? No it is my own fault for waiting too long to watch something and being careless on the internet. It’s shitty, but it’s sadly how it works these days. And even though I agree that this thumbnail might be better, also for new viewers who haven’t seen anything yet, it doesn’t mean other TH-camrs are not going to do it anymore. So what I’m trying to say with this comment is, yes I get it, but it’s also a warning for people to be careful themselves. You can’t always blame the people posting, especially not after three weeks.
@LarissaZeeuwe It really isn't as easy as that. I get reaction videos of shows and movies I have never searched for or looked at recommended to me just because I have watched some other video from those channels at some point. I've also had videos show in search results for the same reason even though they have nothing to do with what I'm searching for. If you subscribe to a channel you will see their videos in your feed. Also, what if somebody had just watched the trailer, or followed a link to one of the many Tennant & Sheen interviews? Of course anyone who goes looking for things is playing with fire, that's well accepted and bloody obvious, but having something spoiled due to the wilful ignorance of others is another thing entirely. Never will 'but everyone else does it, it will just happen anyway' be an acceptable excuse. That's the sort of thing that people say when they don't want to take responsibility for their actions and pass the blame on to others. It is an extremely easy thing to avoid doing. You just have to have a little common sense and consideration for others.
If anybody is interested. There is a kickstarter for an official Good Omens Graphic novel. The kickstarter was fully funded in 10 mns and it’s almost at £2,000,000! There is about 12 days left there is still time for people to get their own copy.
Crowley tries to looks like a grumpy demon, but he is a fluffy boy. I suppose we will see a sweet brother-sister relationship with Muriel (or, at least, Muriel will try). I also hope see more of the humans from both seasons. Gaiman said many things for S3 were in S1, so I suppose we will come back to Tadfield.
1:30 yes thats correct Neil Gaiman said it in his interview and in his tumblr. Him and Terry Pratchet had some ideas for a sequel but never actually wrote anything down. So Neil is using those ideas for inspiration for a Sequel. Season 2 it’s a bridge/build for season 3. Which is the actual sequel to Good Omens. The second coming. It’s going to be interesting if Aziraphale will be force to kickstart the second world’s end. Btw Amazon has not green it season 3 probably due to the writers strikes. So the best thing to do it’s support the serie by rating it, lie sing a review in Amazon and IMBd, and just rewatch the series over and over.
I can't wait for S3. They start to film in January. And yes, S3 is the real sequel never published (S2 was a new story, but I think it also had some storylines from the sequel). Beelzebub's actress was busy, so they had to recast. I wonder in S3 which actress will come back if the character returns (I suppose the new one).
They should make season 3 like a whole movie, to draw everyone in the Cinemas , a huge Room full of people full of emotions, sadness and at the end endless joy! That would be so amazing to witness!
I watched the entire show a few weeks ago, knowing a few spoilers. Those spoilers were pretty much the same - something something Aziraphale is in charge of something, there's a kiss, Beelzebub and Gabriel are in love (though I wasn't sure on who prior to watching). And yet still, more heartbreaking than you could ever imagine xd. Now I'm here going "if I have to suffer, at least I'm seeing other people suffer as well" lol.
I will be livid if we don't get a season 3! I'm all about Az and Crowley. I got tears in my eyes when Crowley finally kissed Az. I've enjoyed watching this season with y'all. Pray to the Amazon Prime gods that we get a season3!
S3 hasn't been confirmed, and with the current strikes who knows when they'll ever start production. On the bright side, if i remember correctly Neil said that if S3 doesn't happen, he'll write a novel in its place. So whatever happens, we'll have a sequel.
mostly we're waiting Amazon to actually renew it for season 3 and for them to agree to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA terms so that work can actually start on it. Neil Gaiman has said that if it wasn't for the strikes, he would 100% be working on the script right now! I also will back up others who have mentioned Neil also saying that if they don't get renewed for s3, he will write it as a book! He won't leave us hanging, no matter what. (Sources: Neil Gaiman's tumblr account that he definitely doesn't have, because Neil Gaiman doesn't have social media)
Metatron is an archangel from the Hebrew Bible, and in this story it seems to me that Metatron (as the "voice" of god) is very Melkor/Morgoth-like as we haven't heard from "the god" (Frances McDormant) in the 2nd season (except for Job) so I'm thinking Metatron is trying to get rid of humanity and demons and keep all the power to himself (whatever it is he's doing it isn't angelic). So I'm thinking that the "second coming" will not be very fun for humanity in this story. Even if we don't get a third season, Neil has promised a book, so there is that.
the second coming is not the second apocalypse it’s the second coming of Christ aka jesus coming back to earth which is was more interesting than another apocalypse
Aziraphale didn’t even consider going back until the Metatron offered him Crowley’s safety & continued presence in his life Crowley sees the truth of heaven as well as hell. Aziraphale was just stepping a foot outside of his conditioning whereas Crowley had ages to see how little heaven actually believed in love. Heaven vs Hell is simply Lawful vs Chaotic They both take time to process emotions, but Aziraphale didn’t get the chat with the wise lesbians ™️ that Crowley had, nor had he had Nina’s proverbial knock-upside-the-head that Crowley had in re his feelings I just want them to realise that they need therapy. Maybe Muriel will read enough psychology books to get good at it. Still not over this finale Great reactions 💔🌈😈😇
Hey! A bunch of other people have already said it but I'll repeat it to boost it: please change the thumbnail! Thankfully I have already watched the episode, but a lot of people haven't and it'll spoil the experience for all of them
"Finally, it's explained" Nah they already explained it in the first scene with Crowley and Beelzebub, but you guys talked over it. Which I have to say you do quite alot over dialouge. It's why you guys gets a bit confused about things. Just like you missed when Maggie invited the demons in the bookship and that's why they could enter. I like your reactions, but I wish you guys would just talk at least a little bit less when they are talking on the screen.
i do find that a bit irritating coming from some reactors. they'll speak alot over some very important dialogue/scene, usually asking questions that'd be answered by just watching what they're ignoring, & then they'll be so confused abt things
yeah, true. or maybe pause if there are a lot of things to talk about. they tend to miss a lot of things because they are talking over what's happening and then be confused af at the end of episodes lol. I love their reactions too but it's a bit annoying when the ANSWER is right there - if only you paid ATTENTION!
@@65jctorres But they haven't and therefor miss stuff. It's not me who I'm worried are gonna miss anything lol. They are reacting and of course should talk from time to time but what's the point if you're gonna talk and don't hear info?? Either don't talk as much or pause if you have something more to say 🤷🏻♀️
i think the point is to see someone who hasn't seen it, not just the episode itself. what's the point if they miss out the most important parts & don't understand anything@@65jctorres

Well now after this thought anything else can only be a disappointment XD
Honestly I hope they both apologize with each other, because they really misunderstand each other and don't communicate well 💔
1000% I agree, full Britney Spears Musicvideo style!😂
Im looking for a broadway production. Hamilton level lol.
It really wasn't entirely his fault how the season ended. He actually made quite a smart decision, but it would be great to finally see him do the dance!

So basically the idiots in love troupe.
@@scarletowl4556 yeah, I think this is it.
@@scarletowl4556 This is a very good point, I believe that there is still some of that as well.
@@scarletowl4556 actually, I found a post that Neil Gaiman liked. It is a bit long but here it goes:
So, I feel like I’m losing my mind.
Eric the "disposable demon" is a Demon who can replicate themselves 😉 The running joke is that they are killed multiple times each season😂
Me after this season: coping by reading fanfictions, looking at fanarts, and listening to their playlists
Same I feel you
The acting in the last scene was insane from both David and Michael
Okay but the way Beelzebub acts with their flies is really cute. The little "bye bye!" When they put it in the matchbox? Adorable
Anna Maxwell Martin had a scheduling conflict and couldn't come back as Beelzebub, so Shelley Conn took over the part.
S3 hasn’t been confirmed, but yes, s2 was written as a bridge between s1 and a possible sequel. Unfortunately, Sir Terry Pratchett passed away before he and Neil Gaiman wrote the sequel, but they had discussed it and had ideas.
Neil said they essentially finalised the plot of the sequel together in 2006
Neil has also confirmed that he is ready to go with season 3 and if Amazon doesn’t pick it up, he’ll write it as a book. We will get it one way or another.
the “fuck you” at 23:10 lolll i felt that deep in my soul
Ngl I didn't remember what you were referring to so when I clicked the timestamp, that was a little too iconic tbh. You picked the perfect shot, I'm cry-laughing rn 💀
If you play it back Azi actually mouths "i love you" before saying "I forgive you" which is heartbreaking!
No NO IT WAS BAD ENOUGH DONT MAKE ME CRY MORE STOP
24:19 "I can't believe they actually kinda went for it and then... FUCKED it up"
FELT
Bad news: Neil has mentioned that a new season would come out in 2026 at the earliest, cause of the amount of vfx and all that post production stuff. And he would've been writing it already if it weren't for the strike, although he's done with the 1st ep and the last 15 minutes apparently.
Good news: Neil's also said that if the show doesn't get renewed he'll write a novel to finish the story.
Otherwise yeah, a lot of people had seen that picture or knew about it, but none of us considered the context could be so devastating 😭
Shut up 😭
I'm going to be a year from being adult by 2026, wow
felt, ill be in my twenties.@@FateofTheseus
the sitting in silence for the first bit of the end credits is such a mood you're just left in utter disbelief
I hadn't noticed the miracle sound effect when I first watched, now that you mentioned it's all the more heartbreaking that the Metatron miracled Aziraphale into going back to Heaven, and he still hesitated when he saw Crowley, like not even a miracle can make him completely ignore his feelings.
the absolute stunned silence at the end... yeah
Fun fact: If you go back and watch episode 6, you'll see Aziraphale mouth "I'm sorry, I can't " before he says "I forgive you" out loud! 😭💔.
They just need to have a long conversation and just fucking talk to each other at this point 😭
spot on@@Cass.k.k
I think Crowley loves the world too. He just knows better.
“I’m not ok.” NONE OF US ARE OK. I haven’t been ok for *weeks* 😂
@@tigristhelynx7224 Sure thing! I love his character too! He just seems like such a sweet cinnamon roll of a demon!
I loved watching your reactions to this! It feels nice knowing I wasn't the only one who cried lol 🥲 Really hoping season 3 is made and soon, but I'm willing to wait as long as it takes to see Crowley and Aziraphale happy together again.
I know I should be more devestated about Aziraphale and Crowley but for some reason Gabriel and Beezlebub got me sobbing like a baby
You should probably change the thumbnail or blur it if you really want to use that image because I know lots of people who haven’t seen it yet
Edit: they changed it to be a bit less spoilery now
seconding this with all due respect
And he can't warn Crowley because that would endanger him.
watching this reaction was just watching the light slowly die in both yalls eyes
Also that one shop owner guy and his spouse were queer.
It's so good. Az hasn't fully accepted the fact that his previous life was toxic. He still drinks that koolaid. He still thinks he can fix them. It's so true to life. Still breaks my heart, though.
Something im probably way to proud of is the fact that i predicted Gabriel and Beelzebub getting together canonically about 1 1/2 weeks before the season came out (and i had been shipping them for long before that)
Oh wow, that’s crazy! I literally didn’t even notice while it was already reaaaally obvious 😂
I read a fanfic where Beez and Gabe got together way before this, so I found it again and commented, "You called this!" 😂
i never shipped them bc i couldn't really see them like that, and even now it seemed rushed(to me), but i dont really care now cuz they are just too cute together🥺🥺
@@Bindi342 exactly
If anybody is interested. There is a kickstarter for an official Good Omens Graphic novel. The kickstarter was fully funded in 10 mns and it’s almost at £2,000,000! There is about 12 days left there is still time for people to get their own copy.
The hair horns demon is a recurring character, that was in the first season, costantly being killed and replaced by an identical demon.
The original actor who played Beelzebub had another job that clashed with the filming dates, so the role was recast.
I love rewatching season 2 with you, it was so fun! (ven though it hurt at the end lol)
I felt represented by your reaction to the ending jsbdndb
❤❤❤
I really enjoyed your Good Omens reaction series, I hope they will make the third season as soon as possible!
YASSS~! I love watching people moment before the tradegy. Ahhhh the beautiful sound of hearts getting absolutely shattered.
This was beyond adorable and so life-affirming to watch. I just moved to a small remote town and have nobody to gush over Good Omens with
They can't recognize or believe he's Gabriel because of the spell, I mean miracle.
Why did you make that the thumbnail I was going to watch it tomorrow and saw this when I scrolled down 😭
The last moments. OMG!
I just watched this episode and literally did a backflip
It was super fun to see your guys reaction and for finally see that there are dutch fans!
I can't wait for S3. They start to film in January. And yes, S3 is the real sequel never published (S2 was a new story, but I think it also had some storylines from the sequel).
Beelzebub's actress was busy, so they had to recast. I wonder in S3 which actress will come back if the character returns (I suppose the new one).
now, let's read a bunch of fanfics
Season 2 was made to be a bridge between 1 and 3. Gaiman said it would be 2026 at the earliest.
im so excited for this! 😭
They should make season 3 like a whole movie, to draw everyone in the Cinemas , a huge Room full of people full of emotions, sadness and at the end endless joy! That would be so amazing to witness!
23:55 Indeed... they already said that we will probably have season 3 until 2027 :) ...no, I'm not fine
That $@ Metatron tricked Aziraphael!! He knew that A would say yes if he could have Crowley with him, and that C would say no.....
I was crying with you again!! 😭
If it wasn't already mentioned in the comments the reason they can't recognize Gabriel is the miracle they did together at the beginning. :-)
Watch until the very end ,Aziraphale smiles, almost happy
I will be livid if we don't get a season 3! I'm all about Az and Crowley. I got tears in my eyes when Crowley finally kissed Az. I've enjoyed watching this season with y'all. Pray to the Amazon Prime gods that we get a season3!
@LarissaZeeuwe There were just news that the third (and final) season was greenlighted and the filming will start in Scotland.
S3 hasn't been confirmed, and with the current strikes who knows when they'll ever start production. On the bright side, if i remember correctly Neil said that if S3 doesn't happen, he'll write a novel in its place. So whatever happens, we'll have a sequel.
They killed him a bunch of times in season one too. At least three. (The questioning demon.)
Welcome to the pain and suffering 🥲
LETS CRY TOGETHER ❤️
Season is of good omens is confirmed
19:29 - ...........hehehehhehehe.......i'm not crying
They can't recognize Gabriel as Gabriel because of the miracle.
Neil Gaiman has said that if Season 3 doesn't get picked up he'll write a noel to finish the story.
ignore me covering my face screaming waiting for the 'i forgive you' after the kiss breaks.
mostly we're waiting Amazon to actually renew it for season 3 and for them to agree to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA terms so that work can actually start on it.
I'm been waiting for this ep
next season is coming out 2026 if we’re lucky, but it might be 2027 or even later if something goes wrong..
I'm in love with Beelzebub's BYE BYE
the second coming is not the second apocalypse it’s the second coming of Christ aka jesus coming back to earth which is was more interesting than another apocalypse
It hurt us all.
Hey guys, you should really change the thumbnail. For real.
Well, that's better. Thanks.
I hope Neil Gaiman hurries up with the third one. They can’t be apart!! 😢❤
“I am not ok”
No….
please change the thumbnail! :(
Aziraphale didn’t even consider going back until the Metatron offered him Crowley’s safety & continued presence in his life
Crowley sees the truth of heaven as well as hell. Aziraphale was just stepping a foot outside of his conditioning whereas Crowley had ages to see how little heaven actually believed in love. Heaven vs Hell is simply Lawful vs Chaotic
They both take time to process emotions, but Aziraphale didn’t get the chat with the wise lesbians ™️ that Crowley had, nor had he had Nina’s proverbial knock-upside-the-head that Crowley had in re his feelings
I just want them to realise that they need therapy. Maybe Muriel will read enough psychology books to get good at it.
Still not over this finale
Great reactions
💔🌈😈😇
emotions and feels aside, Weena is so frickin' cute in that outfit where are the people who dress like that ahhh
Please change your thumbnail. Scrolling YT was how I was spoiled before I finished Good Omens, I don't want that to happen to anyone else.
You really should change that thumbnail 😅
They had to recast B due to a scheduling conflict.
I think Nina's analysis of Crowley and Aziraphale is a little backwards.
No one is ok....
Hey! A bunch of other people have already said it but I'll repeat it to boost it: please change the thumbnail! Thankfully I have already watched the episode, but a lot of people haven't and it'll spoil the experience for all of them
Talking of cute, you guys' reactions are very cute. I like your calm manner; some other reaction videos the people get so screechy and loud.
Dit blijft pijn doen :(
Now he has to go--how else can he work against this plan?
I like that they speak, we are supposed to have already seen the chapter.
@@65jctorres But they haven't and therefor miss stuff. It's not me who I'm worried are gonna miss anything lol. They are reacting and of course should talk from time to time but what's the point if you're gonna talk and don't hear info?? Either don't talk as much or pause if you have something more to say 🤷🏻♀️
i think the point is to see someone who hasn't seen it, not just the episode itself. what's the point if they miss out the most important parts & don't understand anything@@65jctorres
fucked up and twisted and watching it again and again makes it even worse
God, every time you said you want them to kiss this season I was just sitting here crying like be careful what you wish for 🥲
Hey, would you like to dive deeper to the series? You could react to some analycis of good omens? @Sendarya makes very very good ones.
