Good job on the splice. Are you using that cable on roots? I don't care for the Gorlitz brand cable, but I love their machines. I prefer Duracable blades with My-Tana cables with slip joint connectors.
1/2 inch cable ain’t good for nothin. Too big for branch line, too small for sewer line. That’s why yours is all jacked up. Looks like it flipped in the pipe. Wrong size cable😂 At least your using gorlitz equipment.👍
Thanks for the comment! We love Gorlitz and have one on each of our 8 vans! This one got jacked up for sure but we know what to do to fix it and keep moving!
How to repair the tip of the cable where you put the blades on?
Wow. Thanks for that generous tip.
Will this splice connector work for any brand hollow core cable?
I’m not 💯 on that but I think we’ve interchanged Duracable with them

We use duracable hollow core cables mostly. My guys love them.
where do you get the splice connector
duracable.com or gorlitz.com
You really want to make it strong on that connection...is weld it and then use a grinder to etch the groove like it was the groove of the cable...👍
Naah, no need to weld that.
We’ve never welded them. Those splices are strong.
Operator error
Thanks for the feedback! We’re looking forward to your video showing us how to do it correctly! We love to learn new things!
Too busy doing man’s work to shoot videos

I feel the same way about 1/2 inch cable.
