Fire that machinist who didn’t line up those dots with the slit in that top yoke piece lol I am not a jealous man but man I wish I could play with motorcycles all day! Well done mani! Hard work has paid off!
did you shave down the tab on the upper triple tree or just deal with it? does the IMA clip-on have a space to seat nicely with the tab in place on the OEM triple top?
Hey Mani you really know your stuff when it comes to working on bike's always great information and the knowledge you have with working on them. Awesome video again great job looks so beautiful and so awesome. Thanks for the video really enjoy watching them always. Please take care and God bless my friend.
Q - did you reinstate any of the OEM clutch and brake lever handlebar location pins? Tempted to remove mine to allow full adjustability of lever angles but concerned if the pins are required for proper location. Thanks - great video by the way, I now have my own SP2 (#254) to play with.
Not using any of the locator pins, but you would most likely need it for the button controls. We are using aftermarket button controls, so no need to drill the bars. Is it a 2024 or a 2023? Where are you located, that's a low number, which usually is reserved for EU.
@@Motomillion thanks for the reply, very useful. Mine is a late 2022 but has the 2023 updated electronics. Great bikes but best suited to the track. First track day booked in May, can’t wait.
@@andyarmstrong81Hey Andy, did you ever get around to doing your handlebars? Thinking about doing a set of tangent tube clip ons to help with reach. Any tricks to getting the pins out of the controls?
@@Velodictorian yes operation pin removal from both handlebars near clutch and brake levers was a success. No issues, torqued to spec and they are solid, now properly adjusted to the correct angle for my riding position. Best way to remove was pinch either side with pliers and lever out against the handlebar. Was going to resort to drilling them out but thankfully didn’t have to. Only removed the pins behind the clutch and brake levers, not the ones near the handlebar locating bolts. The adjustment on the 1299 was much easier than the V4. Just check all cables / lines and levers do not foul anything from full lock to opposite full lock.
What did you use to attach the left bar end and brake guard? My V4 Speciale has these already but the IMA bars have a smaller internal diameter. Looking online not coming up with much to help and rather not need to purchase new parts just need adapters for what I have already. Appreciate the reply and great video.
Not everything is about weight, sometimes it is for achieving a look. The switches for track riders actually come with the benefit of being more crash resistant.
Any need to move/adjust the rear sets? Hope no. If I have a BrenTune through Moto Million the hand held for S1000RR CAN IT BE UPDATED FOR M1000RR or buy new?
Please mention the torque specs and the special tools you use for the bike, like for the steering nut. We , over here would like to do the same you are doing, but unfortunately we don’t have access of the torque specs….
You Mani does your guy need any 2021-2023 ZX-10R parts I’ve got ohlins suspension front and rear carbonin carbon fiber full fairing kit mwr oversized air box suter clutch and more let me know
Actually, ignore that last question. If it’s not too much trouble… how on earth do you get the cable out of the OEM switch? There’s a small loop that’s probably related but I’m a bit worried about breaking something… Love how Italian stuff comes with such great instructions… 🫣
Hey Mani show some love to the Honda RR-R SP
Maybe, possibly, soon (:

Keep it up many! These videos are the best!
Thanks! Will do!

Had the tab from the top triple machined down.
Please tell me the tightening torque of the stem nut
Steering stem nut to steering shaft
35.0 Nm
GREASE D
Please double check these with your own dealer. These are not definitive numbers.
Thx for the rizoma trick !!!!
My pleasure Kev!

Gary really appreciate your kind words! And thank you for all your comments on each video!
Hi, did you replace brake and clutch lines as well when replaced clip ons?
No, its the stock lines.
Can these be set to provide more comfort? Thanks
Yes, absolutely. You can adjust them to fit your preferred angle
nice switches & new handle bar solid
ride safe
Thank you Mark!

When fitting the left switch, did you remove the cable from the OEM switch and plug that into the new switch or does it connect somewhere else?
is the standard length IMA any longer than the stock?

Great informative video 😀
Thank you.
Can’t wait for the next episode 🙌🏽
Gets better with each video!
Is that steering stem center cover offered in black? Or titanium 😎😎😍
Silver only at the moment.
Great video as usual!!!
Thank you!
Hey mani did carbon parts has same red accent like original has that looks so cool
We are going to make them look the same.
Changing brake and clutch lever still make sense
But how changing switches make sense ?
Or that swiyches are 3 gram lightweight 😂

Did you do anything about the kickstand? Hard to find.
We have them available.

so much information in this video 👏👏
Glad it was helpful!
I don’t know if you’ll give costings for the various items but it would be appreciated if you can, if not no problem.
Most likely when we are all done, we can do a total cost video like our Streetfighter V4 video
Can I do that to my SF V4 sp 2022?
Yes, you definitely can.
Wait until the end and weigh all of the fairings together that’ll help.
Please mention the torque specs and the special tools you use for the bike, like for the steering nut. We , over here would like to do the same you are doing, but unfortunately we don’t have access of the torque specs….
You can flip the calipers over for a more accurate height measurement than using the weedy thin leg that comes out the bottom. 👍
where is the big box for the right switch ?
We will be showing you where it is tucked away once we test fit the side fairings.
Dope 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank you!
