Hey, I have LiDAR DEM data, but which represent only water surface elevation along the river channel. So I've to edit/interpolate my DEM with RTK points to make or capture the real elevation of Ground points along the river channel. Do you have any suggestions? How to do this??/
Is creating a DEM possible from two sets of contours? I have a topo map and bathymetric lake depth contours. Can I list both in the contour height values? Topo would be positive and lake negative?
Thanks for the great tutorial. My height attribute is labelled 'elevation'. I cannot seem to select elevation under 'interpolation attribute' when creating the tin for some reason. Not all the values are showing up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Thanks Ian, that all worked really well. Also love your square-lipped rhino picture!
Super helpful! Thank you.

When using the vector layer, should I first set z values or can you use the height attribute as is? Should height be 'real"?
isolines in Qgis ????

It is possible that your elevation field is a string and not a number.
Good stuff
Which tutorial are you referencing?
Hi Tim, many of the tutorials referenced won't be posted to TH-cam as they are from my client GIS training workshops.
