Probably the first to actually upload some 4K from this camera, which is something, but was very difficult to watch without commentary on what you were doing!? Randomly zooming and playing with iris and shutter.

Cameras are too sharp these days. and if you don't want to mess around with color grading (it's a profession!) then a camcorder is a great interim solution, especially for a more dramatic look.
Wait for the right clouds above you (like in this video) or when the sun rises or sets and you have a beautiful natural color grading.

Thank you for your comment, you are right. I made this purchase because this camera is all-terrain. I don't do cinema, I've done covers for amateur concerts and a few weddings, it's perfect. It fits everywhere low light, light even audio and well

Couldn't you even keep the camera steady? Where is the OIS? I get dizzy from watching. why always zooming? These are the most terrible pictures I have ever seen of a Panasonic camera. Not because of the camera, but cause of u. And the auto iris is terrible too. one does not use this

this fella or gal is obviously new to this camera. I'm seeing a lot of inexperience here. I own a Galaxy S22-Ultra and I can tell you that, although it does shoot good video, you are exceptionally limited with what you can film, how you can film or what you can do with your smartphone. I've been researching this camera and I can safely tell you that it easily outguns, out runs and surpasses the Samsung Galaxy S22-Ultra hands down. It is more versatile. It has a much larger sensor than the samsung. Yes, it's a lot bigger. But you get a lot more bang for your buck with that camera than you can with your samsung.
I've used professional camcorder units. I prefer them over smartphones any day of the week. They have a gamma log and an impressive selection of pro-res selections to choose from that you would NEVER get in the samsung. And the biggest advantage of a Panasonic HC-X20 or any other professional camcorder or video camera is this... you NEVER get interrupted while filming with any incoming phone calls. NEVER. When I'm doing serious filming I always turn on the "Do Not Disturb" function, or put the phone in "Airplane Mode" so that my filming isn't disrupted with an incoming phone call. Also, this unit has a 20X telephoto zoom lens, 3 separate ND filters built right in. It has zebra settings for setting aperture, iris and film/shutter speed. Not so with the samsung or any other smartphone. You can hook up professional external microphones into the XLR input that also doubles as a "1/4" TRS Microphone plug. The things this and any professional camcorder unit can do are so advanced that the samsung smartphones ends up to be a major disappointment and a HUGE Pain In The Ass source of frustration.
Smartphone video filmmaking is for amateurs who don't understand the nuances or capabilities of what a real and a professional camera or camcorder unit can do. Not a very nice comment. Your footage might look Ok... but if any real changes have to be made, including cropping in, color correction and color balancing, audio and everything that goes into professional level editing, you will be left frustrated and super disappointed with how limited your smartphone really is. Leave the professional camcorders to the pros who use them. You are obviously an amateur or you would never have made the comment.

@@alaskanfrogman I completely agree with you. I suspect that, apart from a lack of knowledge, we are talking about a generation gap here. But the point is that each sector honors its own knowledge and specs.
By the way, Panasonic seems to be doing itself a disservice in terms of marketing when it comes to the X2/X20.
