The newspaper company i worked for out of high school in 1994 had GMC Vandura windowed cargo vans with the 6.2L Diesel. As i remember they were always pretty solid racking up a crapload of miles, and were abused like hell. The last new fleet bought the vans had the 6.5L Diesel.
U have very good video's with alot of good info. Yur biggest blessing is having a woman that wants to go to the junkyard and pull parts & tells u lets go get more. Not like the real world. Getting yelled at. Because there parts everywhere ! !
Damn I haven’t been in that yard in years it’s cool they decided not to split the yard in half anymore. It was always funny going there on Sunday morning and seeing folks heading in there church duds. The best part was grabbing a burrito off of the roach coach after picking through the yard.
I drive a 2005 Express 3500 extended passenger van. It's a LQ4/4L80E combo with full floating axles. I'm just waiting for the van itself to die so I can yank the drag car out from underneath it 🤣
That manifold is a Gen 3 but it's also a 4 bolt throttle body and I believe a bigger opening but could be wrong about that part. I'm running one on my swap
Gotta love those stupid LH6s lol. 24x crank and 1x cam for 05/06... 07 rolls along and they are like hey let's keep the same rpo code but make it a 58x/4x engine now instead lol. Seen a few people get screwed buying a long block that way. Same deal as the LS2 though lol.
@@alecweinstein4990 After 1971 compression was dropped on even the large port 351 Cleveland through the use of open-chamber cylinder heads. While they still ran fairly well, the early Clevelands were the desirable (and rare) ones. Ive used closed chamber Australian heads on even slug Ford 400s which actually makes them produce respectable power.
Love the junkyard hunts

There is a yard out in Phoenix that got wise and built a little Mexican food joint attached to the yard
@@fixinonitgarage some people don’t get it but that would make for a perfect day.
@@mrmongo6722 did you spell date wrong? Cause only Travis could pull that off
Good stuff the wrecking yard videos are interesting
Good Video - very informative 👍
don't forget the 01-02 Express vans could have a 8.1 gas V8 along with a 6.5 turbo diesel from 97-02
I remembered that after I said it. They also could in fact get the LML lol. It’s the L5P they didn’t get.
Today, Jessie demonstrates how to sit in a car without actually touching the car.
It’s an art 🤌🏻
Jessie's cool as Hell👍👍
I love the excitement of it all
Love these Junkyard vids
Just subbed. I love the content! Beautiful lady, a wealth of knowledge, and you're interesting to listen to... And I love the junkyard hunts!
I was gonna say "Damn, how come Jessie doesn't turn any wrenches" but I'll go sit down now.
Nothing hotter than a chick tearing apart a car without the intentions of ruining your life 🤣

Man I hope you bought that Doug Nash 4+3 those are gold where I live.
Jessie needs some gloves. She is a good sport, for sure.
No gloves
Yep, accidents happen, heavy gloves will minimize the damage, speaking from experience here 😲

In the next video I’m going to explain how this thing is a weird combo of gen 3 and 4. It’s basically the same as the 2005 c6 corvette

Not a bad idea.

I would much rather find an LS destroying 1970-71 four barrel 351 Cleveland. THAT would be a rare find.
I almost grabbed a '74 351C-4V Elite, triple black on turbines. Thing was the perfect mix of 70s luxe and pure evil
