Thanks for sharing. Why didn't you heat the water first, to get it closer to the machine process?

Good video. I really like Brew Rite. Cleaned the most out of anything I’ve tried in the past. Always found vinegar annoying because it takes so many rinses to get the taste out

Thank you for this unbiased review. Great job! You actually found hardwater deposits to test the descalers with. Very scientific and your results are trustworthy

Thanks for sharing! Your videos taught me how to use my K-Cafe maker a few months ago. I really appreciate how simple you made it.

Thanks for the review I understand what you say about being hot when descaling. My question is if it took overnight to work good is it best do you thing to run some thru then shut off before it brews & let sit overnight?????

I use vinegar (from wine, from apple, from alcohol)mto clean the tank of my CPAP machine very easily, and in Rome (Italy) we have a very calcareous water. Wondering why you got such bad results.

Do the descalers need to completely dissolve the mineral deposits or is it enough to loosen them off the heating elements and then flush the residue away?

Why no plain citric acid? Vinegar is known not to work very well anyway. Citric acid is better and would substitute all those pricey descalers you have there. I just searched the channel and it seems like your avoiding citric acid for some reason. Vinegar will harm certain makes of valves and seals which citric acid will not.

Great test another descaler is Durgol.. not sure why coffee makers recommend white vinegar if it doesn't work as well?

Wonder if you would ever want to revisit this again and introduce heat by pouring hot water with the solution to mimic the descale cycle to see how these compare?

Hello and thank you! A question I have is when you add cleaning solution. And it says fill rest with water. I have 72 oz kurig do I need to fill it all the way. A mini has much smaller tank…..thanks in advance.

8.7.23 great video. I use vinegar at full strength. Think i may try the essentials. It is a hassle getting the vinegar smell out.
