Darwin project was amazing, while it was a small game. They over updated it and made it too complicated, if they stuck to simple I’d still be playing it again.
The apex mobile game recently shut down, and most of the community is backlashing on the game, and many of those leaving after points are deducted even in bronze ranks. I dont see it lasting much long. That being a clear since they didn't even have a new legend this season.
Tabg is so fun and unique and while it is sad to see it slowly fade away, its not that hard to see why, what makes it unique is also the thing that a lot of people dont like about it
Spellbreak shutting down broke my heart. It was probably the only battle royale game that had me hooked. Although I didn’t play it that much, it had insane potential, and I wish it had gotten more support.
I really hope that at some point, Fortnite's UEFN will allow me to recreate the gameplay mechanics of Spellbreak. When it launched into beta, it was so awesome that I dropped Fortnite bc of it due to its mechanics (I still love Fortnite for its unique mechanics as well, BR with a twist bla bla, but Spellbreak was on another level). I truly believe UEFN will be a chance to shine for a lot of game ideas that never became big enough to sustain themselves, but also are too awesome to just be forgotten.

Hyperscape was trash, it wasn't better then anything else out, all people did was camp rooftops & snipe like it's cod, all these abilities & mf's wanna hide & snipe lol
Naraka has no risk of dying because it’s one of the top games in China. But in NA you could consider it dead because the playerbase is barely a fraction of what it is in CN. But there’s hope, they are aware and trying to work on it. Slowly but surely lol
Bloodhunt deserves to be up there, I don't know how it didn't blow up. Maybe cause it's not on Xbox or last gen. It's got such a vibe to it unlike any other empty soulless BR, it has atmosphere. And the movement and abilities themselves are so much fun. It's really a hidden gem

Its really deadly especially for a "game as a service" The most important thing for a game this type (game as a service) is the evolving content. But looks likz this type of game is slowly dying. Fortnite will surely die anytime as soon as the game as a service dies, alongside all the others. But this will surely take alot of time.
I think part of the problem w blood hunt is that most ppl can’t relate to a vampire style game nor have ever had any drive to play a vampire style game. It sounds messed up, but if they just would’ve made this more of the straight forward army art style, I think it would’ve done a lot better

I loved bloodhunt. Maybe its because the average player of bloodhunt wasn't very good and I was used to needed to be super sweaty. Maybe it was because half of the players in the lobby were bots who had the worst ai of all the BRs out there with bots. But I felt powerful in that game and I'm sad to see it get shut down ):

Bloodhunt maybe not so popular but it have very good community of players who love WoD so it will stay alive pretty long. Moreover it looks like the Sharkmob team is made of such fans of WoD and make every update with real entusiasm
Realm royale was pretty fun, i found it hilarious when you got turned into a chicken when you get “downed” then you have to finish them off as a chicken 😂

Sad to see you didn't mention H1Z1, it's in the same boat as Darwin. With only 50-100 players daily people are just waiting for the day the servers go offline.
Rumbleverse was fun but it had like 0 advertisement and it felt super unbalanced. You could combo kill someone so quickly if you were good or vice versa.
just so you know, realm royale reforged isn't a re-release of the game but more of a reboot, since a lot of people who stuck with the game didn't like how influenced it ended up being by fortnite so in reforged they reverted a lot of the mechanics of the game back to how it originally was, for example they re-added armor into the game. They recently even made a new map and added new weapons to the game All of this being done by a tiny fraction of the company too
I think smc couldve been higher but the player base is being limited to mobile and pc devices hence the cause of players not knowing or not even paying attention to it But I think you placed it at the right spot :)

CRSED aka CR is still pretty much a fun game to play because of the wacky stuffs you can do. It is like pubg but leaning more on trolling players to win. The game has this feeling of unbalanced but if you play them you can understand why since most items/rituals is OP

"Spamming with the new cannon" is not true, and even if it was, all you need to do is to simply build a wall or 2 and youre safe from one shot. Putting "Driving motorbikes" is simply the worst you couldve put there because being able to drive vehicles is a really good thing and vehicles in Fortnite are not a bad thing at all. Also you have no point as to why they make the game worse. The map being ugly is also your own very opinion. Since I am trying to keep up with the story, I do know that the map looks like this because the zero point built the map together with the help of the players, paradigm etc. and in my opinion, I love how it looks like. "There is no OG cities left", so what? OG doesnt mean "better". I am so much happier with fresh new content rather than recycled chapter 1 content. "The sprinting is trash, climbing is trash, the sliding is trash". Why is that so? It just looks to me like youre trashing on 3 normal features for no apparent reason. They add diversity to the game and make movement much better than chapter 1 were we only had the normal running around. "Now there arent even snipers in the game", okay? In chapter 2 season 6 we also had none, since there were bows, and the game still wasnt bad. The snipers will eventually return, but there is no reason to cry about it. If you cant adapt to it, just dont play? The only thing I dislike about Fortnite is the community. Epic cannot make everyone in the community happy and people simply fail to realize that. If you have more fun with Project Era, sure thing. I hope you will continue having fun with it. For me, old seasons are boring because I already played them. I got no reason to go back. A small game that was so small that wasn't even mentioned... DeathVerse: Let It Die, it is the sequel of the free to play Let it Die, the game totally died when it came out, but they decided to make 2 seasons which you could get the battle pass for free by just playing the game
I just found this game this week and it’s so sad that it’s shutting down so fast. It’s has the EXACT time of deco/atom- punk type of aesthetic that I look for and you can tell they spent a lot of time on it. At least they are attempting a relaunch because they don’t want everything to go to waste. Since they are advertising to a western audience, I personally would recommend them get rid of the melee-style combat that is seen commonly in eastern br’s, it just never takes off as much as gunplay does and is almost a certified death sentence in terms of br’s. NBP is already THE melee br everyone already plays and even then it’s been dying for a long time. Another thing I imagine a turn off to the western audience is the terrible English dubbing over very anime-esque animations that do not fit at ALL with the aesthetic of the game lol. Gotta know you market.
I remember the era where videos of people saying fortnite is dying appeared left and right. I'm glad people finally acknowledged that it isn't going anywhere.
I play Bloodhunt a lot actually & it’s pretty fun. I wish they would’ve put more time & effort in the game to make it competitive w other br games. It’s pretty addictive once you start getting dubs lol
Naraka is my new favorite and its gaining more players now since it just became free so i have a feeling this one will last for sure with confidence especially being cross platform
I love hyperscape and wish every day it would come back, it was my favorite and if it was still alive i wouldn't even touch fortnite or apex. i had no clue spellbreak got shut down either unfortunately

SAR isn't near dying because of how devoted the playerbase is (myself included), but i don't think it'll grow anytime soon. it's in a very specific niche (top-down battle royale marketed towards furries), and i wouldn't be surprised that everyone who would fall into SAR's niche already have. still fun though.

I think one thing I know about the battle royale genre is that its kinda already settled one whats the best ones to play: fortnite, apex, and warzone. Anything else is overlooked and slowly turns to dust
as a former darwin project player, the game is dead. it's been dead for a few years. the only reason the servers are still "up" is because of the old playerbase getting together to play every now and then, but other than that no one plays it

Personally a big fan of bloodhunt only thing I can say is they need to add more of the vampire clans in there then I think more people will come back or new players will come in
@@joelebruno man it looks like you didn't even seen the game or know nothing about WoD. They didn't add even half of the 7 original clans for now. Due to their discord they are currently working on other clans but for now game have only 4 clans to play

I am amazed at how Super Animal Royale is still going. It does have some peaks. Less players than most BR but then again it's a 2D game with just the bare essentials, as the TH-camr suggested.
This is a super late take on Super Animal Royale, but it’s in a super weird place right now. The numbers shown in the video were taken at one of the largest lows that the game hasn’t fully recovered from yet. This was caused by one of the lead devs pushing hard for a netcode overhaul when it was working as-is, which caused most of the semi-competitive players to leave. The game’s numbers have still not fully recovered due to the lost trust in the developer responsible.
I'm agree as Average SAR player, constant High Ping and competitive wannabe ruins the game which is now the game itself filled by competitive players but just hope that the game is not dying because this the only BR game that I could enjoy.
The one BR no one ever talks about anymore that was actually so good at one point was H1Z1 (renamed Z1 royal) I miss that game. It’s a shame it’s down so bad now
Vampire Blood Hunt, is the first BR game that I actually got into. The whole open field template is just really boring. Using a city as a jungle gym to traverse, hide, sneak, plan ambushes, and disappear into during fights is really appealing. And it has some of the satisfying movement since Titanfall and Vanquish. Shame it will probably face the final death.
Have you considered making a video on Super Mecha Champions again? Admittedly our player numbers are low and you have to play only during certain times in the day but its criminally underrated and its sad that its dying...
No matter how many people say fortnite is dying it will never truly die since as soon as an old player quits the game a new player joins and this is their season, their chapter and maybe one day their og fortnite
Well there’s now the risk of Fortnite will die because epic wants to expand to the meta-verse and move away from battle Royale so Fortnite is on the brink of probably losing everything unless if epic stops planning on expanding Fortnite to a platform
I love mechs and robots and I honestly think Super Mecha Champions could be one of the better (maybe even best) battle royale games if it wasn’t so money grabby. 😢
Glad to see naraka up there. Probably my favourite BR. Dropped fortnite and warzone as got boring. Being a big fan of hack & slash/soulsgames etc and Narakas satisfying combat, I'm not going to drop this. Hopefully it continues to grow.
Even tho this was a few months ago apex rlly does have a risk of dying instead of events we just get store sales for 25$ per skin for a GUN or a legend skin and then the new rank system doesn’t help it’s very bad in my opinion I wouldn’t want it to die but I wouldn’t be surprised since ea would rather fix s store glitch in Belgium than the actual game
For me best battleroyale games are: 1. PUBG (Erangel and Miramar maps) 2. Ring of Elysium (first winter map) 3. Cuisine Royale 4. ARK: Survival of the Fittest
Apex is not unkillable, I've lost count of how many times that game was between life and death with the only reason of it not dying being a fandom that is in a toxic relationship with the game.

I dont want to sound irritated or anything, its just players being mad or crying just because they are too bad or simply cannot adapt. This game is not made to "bring back stuff" or to keep the same stuff for years. Its going to change a lot every time and people need to finally realize that. I understand criticism like "this weapon is a bit strong or reloading on that takes too long" but not "This map is trash, this movement is trash, this season is trash, this battlepass is trash". No. That type of criticism is invalid and can be ignored in my opinion
@OstepoppDynketIMelk I play the normal game in chapter 4 season 3. In chapter 4 season 2 were snipers were still in the game, I could use them just fine. So I doubt its that, but I will never know. If you have more fun with Project Era, sure thing. I hope you will continue having fun with it. For me, old seasons are boring because I already played them. I got no reason to go back. Thanks for actually typing something, I appreciate the effort. I guess it will be as always were some people like the game the way it is and some who dont and thats okay.

A small game that was so small that wasn't even mentioned... DeathVerse: Let It Die, it is the sequel of the free to play Let it Die, the game totally died when it came out, but they decided to make 2 seasons which you could get the battle pass for free by just playing the game
I just found this game this week and it’s so sad that it’s shutting down so fast. It’s has the EXACT time of deco/atom- punk type of aesthetic that I look for and you can tell they spent a lot of time on it. At least they are attempting a relaunch because they don’t want everything to go to waste. Since they are advertising to a western audience, I personally would recommend them get rid of the melee-style combat that is seen commonly in eastern br’s, it just never takes off as much as gunplay does and is almost a certified death sentence in terms of br’s. NBP is already THE melee br everyone already plays and even then it’s been dying for a long time. Another thing I imagine a turn off to the western audience is the terrible English dubbing over very anime-esque animations that do not fit at ALL with the aesthetic of the game lol. Gotta know you market.

I play Bloodhunt a lot actually & it’s pretty fun. I wish they would’ve put more time & effort in the game to make it competitive w other br games. It’s pretty addictive once you start getting dubs lol
Naraka is my new favorite and its gaining more players now since it just became free so i have a feeling this one will last for sure with confidence especially being cross platform

SAR isn't near dying because of how devoted the playerbase is (myself included), but i don't think it'll grow anytime soon. it's in a very specific niche (top-down battle royale marketed towards furries), and i wouldn't be surprised that everyone who would fall into SAR's niche already have. still fun though.

I think one thing I know about the battle royale genre is that its kinda already settled one whats the best ones to play: fortnite, apex, and warzone. Anything else is overlooked and slowly turns to dust
as a former darwin project player, the game is dead. it's been dead for a few years. the only reason the servers are still "up" is because of the old playerbase getting together to play every now and then, but other than that no one plays it
Never got the chance to play it when it was “alive”, the matches I played back then were pretty dead

i don't think they'll add any more clans: that's already all the clans there are in the Masquerade universe
@@joelebruno man it looks like you didn't even seen the game or know nothing about WoD. They didn't add even half of the 7 original clans for now. Due to their discord they are currently working on other clans but for now game have only 4 clans to play

I am amazed at how Super Animal Royale is still going. It does have some peaks. Less players than most BR but then again it's a 2D game with just the bare essentials, as the TH-camr suggested.

This is a super late take on Super Animal Royale, but it’s in a super weird place right now. The numbers shown in the video were taken at one of the largest lows that the game hasn’t fully recovered from yet. This was caused by one of the lead devs pushing hard for a netcode overhaul when it was working as-is, which caused most of the semi-competitive players to leave. The game’s numbers have still not fully recovered due to the lost trust in the developer responsible.
I'm agree as Average SAR player, constant High Ping and competitive wannabe ruins the game which is now the game itself filled by competitive players but just hope that the game is not dying because this the only BR game that I could enjoy.

The one BR no one ever talks about anymore that was actually so good at one point was H1Z1 (renamed Z1 royal) I miss that game. It’s a shame it’s down so bad now
Vampire Blood Hunt, is the first BR game that I actually got into. The whole open field template is just really boring. Using a city as a jungle gym to traverse, hide, sneak, plan ambushes, and disappear into during fights is really appealing. And it has some of the satisfying movement since Titanfall and Vanquish. Shame it will probably face the final death.

Well there’s now the risk of Fortnite will die because epic wants to expand to the meta-verse and move away from battle Royale so Fortnite is on the brink of probably losing everything unless if epic stops planning on expanding Fortnite to a platform

Glad to see naraka up there. Probably my favourite BR. Dropped fortnite and warzone as got boring. Being a big fan of hack & slash/soulsgames etc and Narakas satisfying combat, I'm not going to drop this. Hopefully it continues to grow.
Even tho this was a few months ago apex rlly does have a risk of dying instead of events we just get store sales for 25$ per skin for a GUN or a legend skin and then the new rank system doesn’t help it’s very bad in my opinion I wouldn’t want it to die but I wouldn’t be surprised since ea would rather fix s store glitch in Belgium than the actual game
