- When most of us think of conventional luxury cars, it's the Mercedes-Benz S-class that immediately comes to mind. After a complete redesign for the 2025 model year, the S-Class enters its final chapter as a sedan powered by an internal combustion engine. In terms of luxury and comfort, there is no four-wheel drive better than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The Mercedes interior is unlike any other because the materials used are of high quality, and almost all of the vehicle's technological amenities are standard or available as extras. There will likely be a major overhaul in 2025. There will supposedly be touch sliders on the steering wheel, and we've heard rumors that the simpler user interface might return at some point, perhaps for a 2029 upgrade. Prices for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz S-class start at $118,450 to $129,300 with all optional features and trim levels. The updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class is expected to be launched globally and reach many regions next year. Late 2025 or early 2026 is when most people expect to see the launch of the redesigned S-Class. The most interesting part is the exterior redesign, which includes new end lights and a thinner, smaller grille. The S-Class' revised front fascia now features a new grille. Modifications to the rear fascia can be indicated by a sealed rear end. The rear lights, like the latest E-Class, have a three-pointed star pattern, and the headlights that function as turn signals have a similar design. The EQS electric hatchback will get upgrades that include star-shaped turn signals, like the revised S-Class. The 2025 S-Class models will be powered by the standard 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine in the 500 class, which incorporates mild hybrid technology; the S 580e model will include a plug-in hybrid system mated to the same engine. An electric 580 S Class powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 twin-turbo engine is also an option.
