Hope it works out well for ya 🤘. As others have said, you can do it without taking the calipers off, but I like to clean the brake dust off the pistons.
Thank you so much for this video. I am a horrible mechanic but you explained this and broke it down very simple. I had absolutely no problems doing my 1st brake pad change. I hope you make more videos.
Good video bro! I just ordered a set of pads off amazon front and rear for $26.99. They are Sintered so they will last long! Just bought a 2011 two weeks ago and brakes squeak. I see meat left but Ill changed them and keep the old ones for emergency!
I like your normal ness just the average guy explaining it as you go NICE.
Thanks James, I think I can change them out no problem after watching this. You the Man!!

I'm only just noticing this comment over a year later. I'm glad my video was helpful 🍻

Right on James. Very detailed work. We both had similar ideas on bike vids haha.
Thanks was very helpful 🤘💯
Thanks for video was very helpful can you do video on back brakes?
You did a good job can you do the rear next
you dont have to remove the caliper, pull pin,, pulll pads out the top
You would also have to remove the retainer clip correct?
How do you push the pistons in for the new pads to fit in?
@@Dg-zt3lv Use a C clamp
Mine is a little loud when I'm braking. (Not squeekin) Do you think I need to change the pads??
Sounds like you've got metal on metal. Definitely need to inspect them ASAP
Thank you for the video. Is your Vaquero ABS?
Nope, no abs
Ok I have a 2016 with Abs.... I hope its the same process
Those pads looked like new.. send them to me... id use them.. 😆 factory front pads should last about 30k or more...maybe 60k
They weren't terrible but the rotors were warped all to hell. I was just changing the cheapest thing first to make sure it was the rotors.
Did you use lock tight for the caliper bolts
No, just the correct torque 25nm
