Yes, the XRealbeam Pro video you provide here is practically perfect as viewed on my Lume2. Sharp, good contast and light level, with no crosstalk, and apparently high fps rate. It is the best you have provided thus far at showing the 3D screens of various other devices. I assume that is because its cameras are spaced at a distance very close to that of human eyes. I hope you keep using it for all your TH-cam videos. I so agree about the need for the option to turn off the eye-tracking function fo 3D screens!
As someone who builds glasses free 3D displays the work you are doing is incredibly important to me, being able to hear from passionate consumers is really helpful
Theoretically the Acer SpatialLabs 27 inch 3D monitors should be included in this list and you mentioned that you knew someone who owned one. These monitors are more interesting to me than all the small devices that I already have, but only if you can display a large variety of apps and games on it.
Great video! With your impressive collection I would really like to see the same 3D photo taken by each device and then put together in a video (with the 3D part you do) so we can compare depth, quality etc. :-)

Thank you for this! Hey you may be able to solve your nighttime eye tracking issues by having an IR light in your room. Question. Do any of the 3D tablets support essentially no latency inputs from other devices? (For example, connecting an external 3D camera and using the tablet as a real-time monitor (via some form of HDMI or HDMI to USB-C conversion)? The key is no real noticeable latency.
@BarrieBrown I guess the device you are using has a camera sensor that doesn't dip into IR. I was able to get this to work on other devices like the cameras on VR headsets in order for features like their tracking to work in a pitch black room.
I'm surprised that no mention was made on heating issues. My lume pad 1 got so hot the screen fell off so I updated to the lume pad 2 and it also has heating issues. What does the red magic pad do as far as heating is concerned do they have a cooling fan or does it get hot as hell? May I make a suggestion for your next review divide the topics into simulated 3D and actual 3D. Spatial is not 3D it is simulated. Anyone who has been to the movie theater where the movie was not shot with two separate cameras knows the headaches a nausea that come to many people which turns people off 3D and kills the craze. There's a website that actually lists all the movies Hollywood produces and includes the information as to whether they were shot with a 2D camera or a 3D camera ie two lenses.
Great video! Can you post a link to the iphone 16pro spacial glass 3D screen protector? I’m googling and getting confusing results. Does an App come with it to convert the 3D images to lenticular? Does it also use eye tracking? Really want to make sure I order the product you describe here. Thanks!

@@josh_3D I've been shooting a lot of 3D over the last 4 years. Quest 2 viewing is fine but it feels so isolating and a pain without adjustable Diopters for glasses wearers. Can't wait to get some viewing options that can be shared around the table. Thanks for your videos!

That’s pretty crazy. I wish I could see what the older ones were like. It’s an incredibly lazy effort with this phone. They literally just added an AI conversion feature that has paper thin depth and terrible quality, a media player that can barely do anything and called it a day
Looks like they've stopped selling the Coolpad Daguan 3 phones already, if you keep em at stock settings they aren't too bad but sadly the screen never allowed for any larger landscape shots to be easily seen in 3D as the effect would hinder on one side all the time so you'd have to adjust your view just for some other part to suffer visually, it was like if the 3DS never had a perfect spot to see the 3D in full view

I’m shocked the Vision Pro hasn’t even gotten a mention, despite having been released in 2024. It’s my preferred 3D display. Maybe it counts as “glasses” but not even a nod? 🤷🏾♂️
I love the Vision Pro too. That’s the reason it wasn’t included. But now that I think about it, it probably did deserve a spot up on the table because it actually did implement glasses free 3D. With the eyesight external display. Had I thought of this before I probably would have given it the best design award, and mentioned its eyesight feature as a contender for best innovation. As much as people hate on that feature, I like it. It was a good attempt at innovation for VR headsets to remove the feeling of disconnect around others
Great video! In your first impression you noticed a pattern on the Redmagic display and you said something like you would prefer the more obvious crosstalk of the LP2 over this pattern issue (which sounded rather disappointing to me). I wonder if you stand by that or did you change your view in this regard?
I am going to release a video doing an in depth look at the display soon. Probably next. I have gotten more used to it, the pattern still stands out too much with certain media. The Lume Pad 2 does not have any visible pattern like that, only evenly distributed pixels, but they are small enough to make the 3D resolution already look great. It’s mainly the severe cross talk that holds it back, and just personal preference, if I had to choose between having crosstalk or not being able to unsee that pattern, I’d choose the former. Thankfully I’m not noticing it as much as before
I just want my 3D Fan app to work again. It went all Asian on me and will not play TH-cam stuff like it used to. Surprised you are still marketing it. It should get the worst software support in 2024.
Totally understand the disappointment with the app. If I had done a worst software award it would still go to the CoolPad😂 I will look into what it would take to get a browser feature up and running in our own app. If it’s not too difficult or expensive, that’s one of the things I want to try to make happen sooner than later

I bought a near infrared light flood light but it didn't work😢

I don't understand the new ZTE 3D smartphone, they did an amazing job with the ZTE Axon 7 Max. One of the best 3D smartphones I still have.
