Does this work with Blum Soft Close hinges and they still self close? OR do I have to push them closed each time?

I bought Blum 110 Degree Soft Close Hinges - Full Overlay Soft Close. Can I use this with those hinges?

The screw-on catch plate is installed incorrectly in your video. Check your own cataloge, it says, that the screw-on catch plate should be offset by 3 mm towards the inner edge of the side panel. So, knowing that the tip-on hole is on the distance of 7.5mm, then the screw should be installed on 4.5mm, so that it is the washer plate that touches the tip-on magnet, not the screw head. This is done on purpose, because the screw itself might be made from a non-magnetic material.

Hey there - All of our US specific literature shows the installation of the screw-on strike plate as being centered with the TIP-ON device for ease of installation. The European literature shows different as that is their chosen method of installation. This could be due to countries outside of the US using screws that do not contain a sufficient amount of magnetic material in them.

@@BlumInc that's interesting. Thanks for the clarification. I checked myself on the US specific manual, it really shows the plate centered with the tip, unlike the EU catalog requiring 3 mm offset.
