Girl hats 🎩 off to you! I read the title no medication and clicked. My boys are 21 and 26 my back hasn’t been right since that first epidural I had one with both. I think a home birth is beautiful. In our grandparents days it was common. Wishing you a peaceful loving and healthy baby and birthing🥰
Just a random suggestions for the birth pool: thrift store or old quilt sandwiched between your shower curtain/cheap sheets to insulate!! My hubby was too excited when he was setting ours up and put it straight on cold tile and it totally cooled the tub wayyyyy faster than the norm! Our guy was born in may and I can’t speak enough about how incredible of an experience home birth was!!!
So excited for your home birth! I am now preparing for our second homebirth with our third little munchkin. I do recommend for under the tub to maybe use a thick poly (the stuff used for painting) and have it stretch out to your bed for when you need to get out and deliver the placenta to avoid a trailing mess. And then be sure to tape the poly down so no one can trip on it. This was what our midwife had us do and it made everything way easier and protected our wood floors. Also, my 2nd birth gave me HORRIBLE after cramps and the tincture was not enough for me so my midwife let me take Ibiphrofen. It was the only thing that helped me through that pain because it lasted for several days. So maybe have that on hand (just in case).
Oh this is such a good call about putting something down between the tub bed, I didn't even think of that!! And good call on the ibuprohen - thank you!!
I’m so excited for you! I just had my second I medicated birth- I did birthing center first too and my first is also 2 years old! Home birth this time and it went amazing. We also used In His Hands and let me tell you- that after ease is fantastic! I didn’t have hardly any after pains with nursing my first, but WOW this time it was just as intense as labor contractions! I was so not expecting that 😅 but the after ease helped so much!
Oh my gosh yesss we are twins haha! So glad to hear it was amazing!!! And oh my gosh yes that's what I keep hearing, I'm so glad I have that stuff handy!
Hitting 36 weeks myself & this will be my second free-standing birth center birth :) super excited for you and your home birth!!! Praying for a safe and blessed home birth for sweet Becca and your sweet baby girl! Love your vids 💕
I’ve been watching your videos even though I wasn’t pregnant because I just love them… LOL! But right after your supplement video even though I had already had four and didn’t think I needed to watch it I watched it anyway… Found out I’m having number five unexpectedly! Congratulations and great luck on your home birth!
Ahh so excited to have found you on TH-cam again!!!! I watched you 2.5 years ago when I was pregnant with baby #1! And forgot what your channel was called and now I’m expecting baby #2 in the coming weeks and my first home birth!
Ahhh so excited for you. You are going to rock this home birth. Looks like you are very prepared but the one piece of advice I would give is to tell your team if there’s anything you envision at the birth. Could be certain lights being turned down, a playlist on, some time alone in a different room, etc. it’s hard to voice those needs sometimes in the think of it. Have funnnn!
I’m due in April. Having a hospital birth with a epidural but still watching cause I think it’s so awesome people do this. Wishing you a safe and good delivery.
I had my son last April! I had a very positive hospital birth (and had epidural). I am glad women get to choose :) I wish you the best with your pregnancy.
Thank you Ashley!!! Birth is beautiful and sacred no matter how you approach it :) Sending you all the positive birthing vibes and I hope it's the best day ever!!!
Yes!! Our midwife used In His Hands, too! It was so helpful! Also also I had no after birth cramps with my first, and toms with my second. It’s so odd!
I followed you with Hayden's pregnancy/birth while pregnant and we're pregnant at the same time again! I'm planning a home birth as well and I cant wait to see how it all goes for you. I know you guys will do great!! ❤️
Do you have a list of items? Like a check list. I saw your links, thats helpful, but something that I can use as a check list?? I love how prepared you are! Our first birth is in Feb, and it will be a home birth 💙
Thanks for the water heater 😂 I have been wanting one and not wanting to keep adding boiling water to the pool this time. Some of them looked scary and I did not want to pop the pool either. Lol
Loved this! I will be doing a home birth in the future and this is so helpful. Would you be able to do a video on what essential oils you plan on using during birth & postpartum?
Ahh yay love hearing that!!! That's a good idea! If I don't do a whole video on it, I will def share everything on my oily insta! @cloveandarrowessentials
I learned from experience that you want to wash and tumble dry those towels several times so you don’t get covered in black fluff 😂 my towels were red and I was finding pieces of red fluff on me for AGES!
Let me just echo the necessity of the ‘after ease’ tincture. That stuff is a miracle worker. After having my second baby the uterine cramping was awful for the first week but every time I would feel the pain start I would put this in my water and chug and it was like instant relief.
Are you sure that gauze aren’t postpartum panties? Lol. That’s what the hospital ones looked like for me. So excited for you! Can’t wait to see the new babe 🥰
Tara should definitely talk to you about hospital and the experience. She hasn’t had good ones. I know she was saying she was thinking of a homebirth but now not! You’re a wealth of knowledge when it comes to how the hospital environment factors into how you labor. Wish she would watch some of your videos ❤️
I’m getting ready to start my artificial insemination process and was considering a home water birth. This is one of the most detailed and well executed videos I have watched on what I will need. Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️👶🏽
omg so exciting! im 32wks and this will be my first homebirth too. my first was a positive waterbirth & hypnobirth in the hospital with the same midwife team i feel like time is flying by, im nervous and excited all at the same time
I wish I would have tried a home birth with my last baby. I had 3 previous uncomplicated hospital births and lived 3 minutes from the hospital but my other half wasn’t onboard. Maybe if we decide to have baby #5
Yeah that can be tough!! Def has to be something you are both comfortable with. I really love the "Doing It At Home" podcast - they have amazing episodes and even one about talking toy our partner who isn't on board. It's hosted by a husband and wife so you get to hear both perspectives! xx
I believe the gold capsules are for baby’s belly button / to dry the umbilical cord and the white with green line was like an underwear to wear with a pad. Thanks for the video! Currently 35 weeks pregnant and having our third home birth so wanted some reminders 😇
Amber Waves it’s called normalizing home birth and showing woman what they can do at home. How she chooses the video is up to her. Lol obviously you read my comment wrong.
Awe so happy for you to be having baby #2. I'm so envious of you doing non medicated and home birth. Mine was very painful and given the opportunity to do it again I think I would try at home as well. It's all worth it in the end 🤩🥰 wishing you the best
Hello, dear pregnant mother. I'm sorry to bother you. But I just wanted to say that if you're interested in streaming your birth, you can join our group. There will make you feel safe. Although there are not many people in the group now.😂

Oh my goodness!! Thank you! Yes it totally used to be the norm! Crazy how things change!
My sister has severe back pain from her epidurals 😢 and doctors will refuse to say that the epidural caused it even though it is obvious.

Thank you so much Lauren!! I seriously appreciate that so much! xx
I’m nowhere even close to being pregnant but I really like watching these videos hahaha
Hahaha I feel you girl!! I became obsessed with pregnancy/birth content longgg before I was in that stage of life myself lol it's just so fascinating!

Yesss girl!!! You can do it!! :)
Thank you for this!
Interesting that you have to pay for all that medical supplies. In Canada the midwives bring everything like that and I just cover the things I want.
I had a homebirth 5months ago, oils helped me tremendously.
Would you mind sharing which oils and how you used them?
Ooh yes would love to know which ones you used & loved!!

For towels that you might just end up throwing out, you can ask hotels. They’ll give you old towels
What’s the name of the birth center you used?
It was called The Birth Center :)
I’m a future mom to be lol and It’s my dream to have a home birth, This is very informative.
The item you didn't know are mesh panties. And *chux pads :)

Hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed!! I love watching any kind of pregnancy/birth content honestly no matter where/what it is! Birth is just incredible!!
I've heard essential oils are volatile & can mess with our microbiome
Girl get some period underwear! Great for post partum. Not for right after birth but for like 2 weeks after. It’s a game changer
That one bag looked like the sexy after baby underwear...praying for safe delivery for you and baby girl🙌
LOL I think you're right!!
U know the video where you show caption of your security camera with ghost encounter which one is it
Chux pads 😉
Was loving this until you mentioned Thieves and Young Living 🙄🙄🙄
What don't you like about them?
@@wildharmony33 lmao that they’re MLMs.
Is this birth going to be vlogged more than Hayden’s or just a few clips like Hayden’s. Cannot wait to know her name.
