This makes sense...I gave birth at home and I saw singing mantra while in labor for 12 hours while my family was asleep. By the time they wake up, I was ready and I had no pain any more, and after 3 hours my first child was born. No issues, no pain, no rush, no water even broke. A very gentle birth. With mantra, many things just disappear

Please do more videos about Mantras. Everything that you said resonated so well. I started learning Jyotish and I just had this feeling to buy a Ganesha statue and recite his Mantra. It's there. The divine is with us all the time.

Simon please consider doing more videos on this subject, specifically the pros and cons of taking mantra diksha from guru whether that is in Jyotish tradition or others, such as monastic Ramakrishna Mission traditions.

Do you think the fact that I eat meat and drink alcohol makes mantra chanting much less effective/should I avoid chanting mantras because of that? Thanks a lot for the video though, very helpful!

not really. just do it and see. I am a trial-and-error kind of guy. I try things to see how they work to test my experience. Just go for it!
