i get anxious about being late so I get to places like half an hour early. I arrived to my college class on the second week an hour early and I saw that there was already a guy in the class waiting. I looked at him and thought "he's a loser just like me, I need to befriend him." We've been dating for five years lol. It'll happen Cassie, I promise!
Suggestion for 1st dates: Shift your focus on the other person. Imagine he feels nervous and awkward and you have been asked to help put him at ease, or help him have a nice time. Now that your head is filled with empathy and trying to be helpful, there’s less room for your own anxious thoughts. 💜
Empathy is great, but it doesn't pay the bills and doesn't make a man a gentleman. This guy was a jerk. He wanted drinks and sex. I have zero empathy for someone who thinks I can be bought for $20.
I just love you, Cassie! Shades of Angelina Jolie with beauty and sweetness overload. Love your honesty. I long for the day we hear about your wedding. ( It WILL happen) and my 65 year old self will be super thrilled for you.💖💖
I quit dating three years ago. It was too damn depressing. I decided to go to law school instead. Much less effort and a much better payoff compared to dating:)
EXACTLY. Same. I call it "retiring," haha. I retired from the dating world and dating life over a year and a half ago, and honestly? Never been HAPPIER! Seriously, no exaggeration, best decision I've ever made. Society tells us that we need to constantly be pursuing a relationship, or to be in a relationship and "progressing" by moving in together, getting married, having kids, buying a house, etc., etc., but that's just bull. If you happen to find someone ORGANICALLY who treats you like a queen and respects you and makes your life BETTER and LESS stressful and miserable, then that's awesome! But the second that stops being true, you better BOUNCE out of there. And then, just go back to living your best life as a single - and perfectly *WHOLE AND COMPLETE* - individual, with your own career and personal growth goals, friends and family time, hobbies, passions, etc.
Honestly same. How do you even trust people if you dont get to know them "organicaly" (for example when they are a friend of a friend or you meet them at your hobby and reguarly get to know them over a looong period of time and see how they interact with other people, deal with problems, live their life etc)
If he ask you to go to his place after the first date, he doesn't want a serious relationship with you or anything serious even if you don't go. Learned that lesson a year ago.
The last date I went on he wouldn't stop talking, he just TALKED MY EAR OFF!! (Literally couldn't get a word in edge wise) Then proceeded to get very drunk. He was so nervous.. & Now two and a half years later I still can't get him to stop talking...
Omg this happened to me, he literally spoke for 8 hours about computer stuff, stuff I completely do not understand 7 years later, he still talks forever about computer stuff that I don't understand 🤣
just started the video but i already know this is gonna be oddly therapeutic to me, i just got out of a yearlong relationship that was going nowhere and it's nice to be reminded that there will be plenty more people and opportunities ❤️ i don't know yet if it went well, but i hope it did, and if it didn't, there'll be plenty more people and opportunities!
I'm sorry to hear that you were in that kind of relationship and that it ended (after a year of being together, even if it was going nowhere, that's still a big change and emotional) but hopefully you're feeling better day by day! There IS someone (maybe even multiple someones!) out there that's waiting for you... you just have to go out and find them ^_^
I just got out of a ten year one it was horrible it feels good to go out and be able to do things I couldn't because he never let me out I hear ya on different opportunities I never knew life would be so much better!
Thrift Thick I am, i'm spending more time with my friends and focusing on going to college in a few weeks so at least i'm busy lol - thank you so much for the kind words and amazing videos!
As a fellow single girl, I love this series! It’s good to know that I have similar first date thoughts (how is online dating the best and the worst all rolled up in one?) Also, how special will it be if you film one of these videos when you go on a date with your future significant other?? It’ll be so cool to see what you were thinking beforehand and your first impressions of how the date went. Keep up with the great content Cassie!
I'm married 29 years. Husband is very religious, I'm not. Never once been a problem. He doesn't try to change me and I don't try to change him. He knew from the get go I am Agnostic. You look so pretty!
You Pick a place next time, so you don't have extra anxiety going to places you have never been. I always pick somewhere close enough to home that I know the area well (but not too close to home; because you don't want any perv following you home if the date doesn't end well). Try to go there earlier than the date, so you get a table that you feel comfortable comfortable with and know who your server is. Most restaurant servers are very good at spotting first date situation and can help jump in to "save" you should anything goes wrong (which happened to me once unfortunately)
I was just about to comment the same thing! I've been married for 20 years and my first actual real date was when I met my husband. I wouldn't have a clue! I get anxious just meeting new people!
Same! I've been with my hubby for 32 yrs since I was 16 (married for 29), and if god forbid something happened where I was single again, there's no way I'd be going thru the whole dating nightmare.
I have been divorced for 12 years and my last long term was 5 years ago.....I sooooo want to be in a stable relationship in my later years....but dating is not what it use to be for me 🤷♀️I would say I have given up 💋
Gurrrrl, I LOVED this video & you looked really cute even if the date sucked. I'm glad you were brave & put yourself out of your comfort zone to try even if it didn't work out. Don't give up & keep being your wonderful self because someone is gonna see your worth & snatch you up. Thanks for sharing your life with us❤❤❤
I met my husband on a dating site, I really wasn't into it, my friend at the time kind of blackmailed me into creating a profile because she didnt want me to go back to my ex, and this was her way of saying just see what's out there. I was talking to a couple of guys when this super cute and kinda awkward guy messaged me...we've been together for 7 years now, married for 5, and have 2 children. He is my best friend, and an amazing husband and father to our girls. I honestly cannot believe how much my life changed by just answering a message because I thought he was cute. Our first date was a dinner and a movie. We fell in love quite quickly lol You look stunning, Cassie! Yourr beautiful inside and out, and I will have my fingers crossed for you! I remember having that I'm gonna puke feeling on my first date lol it will get easier, and your special someone is right around the corner! This could definitely be a great series, happy to be along for the ride with you! Love you, Cass!
Thanks for taking us along on your journey. I was pulling for you but this experience will just make your first date with the right guy even more perfect. It’ll come when the time is right and everything will fall into place. I can relate to a lot of your anxieties. For sure. Your thoughts sounded exactly like my thoughts...like you’re in my head almost. Comforting that I’m not alone. Xoxo
You have grown my dear to be able to talk about your date before and after. Also good for you for standing up for yourself and being able to say no with confidence. I see this as growth in your self worth. Good going. I've been married a long time (twice) and ain't doing it again if I become single. Too old and not enough energy to play into the role. If you continue to grow and have the commitment to your self worth all will work out. I'm loving the grwm and casual talking and the fashion treatment.👌👌👌👌👌👌
Hi Cassie! I've watched you for years, but never piped in before. I'm 22 and about to start grad school and have been trying to get back into the dating game after almost 4 years of being single. It's hard and it sucks and none of my friends can empathize because they're all in committed relationships. I've been trying to just go with the flow and just have experiences meeting other people but I just want to say that I truly feel you and I understand how discouraging it can be sometimes. My therapist has helped tremendously and I've found that intense self-love is the best cure for loneliness and disappointment. Of course it's not easy, but it's something we can all strive for! Sending love and hugs.
I love showing up early and sitting at the bar to have a drink while I wait for the other person to show up. Gives me time to figure out all the worries you mentioned and decompress. Then you just look chill cool and casual instead of stumbling in looking frantic. I’m from Minneapolis, maybe I’ll run in to you at “the arcade bar” ;) that place is PACKED on the weekend.
Using concealer lighter than your foundation on blemishes will only make them stand out. I've been told & read to use a shade darker than your foundation on blemishes.
Lol you need to make this a series😂 i love watching you get ready and the date update at the end. Makes me feel not so alone in this crappy dating world😂
Love the dating videos! Don’t give up, it just takes a lot of duds before you find the one! I met my husband on POF and next month is our 10 year wedding anniversary 💗
Eye makeup removal wise, I just wanted to comment that if you use cotton pads with a good micellar water (like Bioderma sensibio) you don't have to rub your eyes that much. Lisa Eldridge has a video on how to do it effectively, but basically you split the pad in two, put one under your eyes and the other one on top. Then the longer you leave it the better: you just pat over the whole area, wiggle a bit, pat some more, and when you wipe it off everything is mostly gone. This way you end up wiping the area only once or twice. The micellar water kind of grabs the makeup: its weird because the makeup looks like a tatoo on the pad. I stopped using oily removers because my eyes are just too sensitive. I think the only one I can use this far is the Clinique Take the day off Balm; the other oil cleansers/balms Ive tried are a no go.
I’m the same way when it comes to first dates, the traffic scares me, if it’s a new place I’ve never been to I worry about parking , all the unknowns get me! We’ll find someone when we’re meant to! Keep on keeping on!
Yes yes yes. Everything leading up to the date like what to bring, what to wear, what to say,.... what is the weather going to be like, where is the place, how do I easily escape if things go wrong? Argghh Driving anxiety does not help
Ooh girl I feel you on the struggle. I got out of a 5 year relationship over a year ago and I’ve had more than my share of every kind of dating app experience this past year. The worst is when you connect super great with someone and get to know them for a few weeks and then they just stop talking. No explanation or anything. That ghosting bullshit is toxic. No closure and it will always make you assume it’s something that wasn’t good enough about yourself when in reality most of the time it’s someone that has a problem with themselves and isn’t able to be emotionally available. Dating is terrible now days! Haha I throughly enjoyed this video and hope you make more like this in the future. Also hoping the next ones a winner. You deserve someone great never settle! 💕
I understand how anxious you feel Cassie, even going somewhere you don't know. I used to go to the library to study with a friend and if she arrived first I'd have her text me exactly where she was sitting before I go in 😂 I love your videos, and about this one I love how open you are about your personal life. I struggled a lot too but finally met someone wonderful, and I'm sure you will too. Stay positive 😊
One of the only things that calms my anxiety is to keep reminding myself that whoever I’m dealing with is just a person. They are just a person like me. They aren’t some special diety with any power or some perfect thing there belittle you. They wake up, eat, sleep, breathe and shit just like everyone else. It takes the focus off your nerves and refocuses your attention toward how they’re feeling.
Cassie- oh my god the sweating thing, I can SO relate!! The worst part is if I know I’m sweating I start to get anxious about it which makes me sweat more 😅 Sending lots of love and positive vibes your way. You got this girl! ❤️❤️
YES exactly, it's so frustrating!! The anxiousness leads to more sweat and the the frustration that I'm getting anxious leads to MORE sweat! It's the absolute worst.... good to know we're not alone though ^_^
Lol I still remember when i went on a date with my now husband 8 years ago, he asked me if i was sweating because i had some shimmer fallout under my eyes lol 😂
Same for me too! It's so embarrassing. I went to a bride expo the other day to prepare for my wedding and the place was so crowded plus I was a bit stressed so I just started to sweat and of course I feel like I am the only one looking like a sweaty mess.
Yessss please the Cassie Chronicles of dating! Omg omg it would be soooooo fun if we could help choose your looks on date night! Not GRWM but help me get ready!
Yesssssss Cassie, this date diary is fantastic. Imagine looking back at all of these videos when you finally find "the one". I'm glad you have high standard and morals cause that's the best way when your true to yourself. Bad luck to that dude, he really missed out on a beautiful, wonderful girly 💋🤗
Love happens at different times for everyone. I got lucky and found my husband at 24 but is 8 years older than me so he had to wait quite some time. So glad you stay positive when it doesnt work out because I know it's hard to be positive! We love u and we want u to find the best man out there!
I love you Cassie!! I just started Lexapro for my anxiety and panic disorder and watching you always makes me feel better!! I have been married 17 years so I can’t remember a lot of first dates but anyone is lucky to date you!😀😀
thank you so much Sarah, you're such a sweetheart to me all the time!! Happy for you that you've started a new medication; I hope it starts working for you very soon and that you start feeling better
I used to take Lexipro. First time I realized how great life could be without anxiety. I switched over to cbd oil, but Lexipro will always have a special place in my heart.
The first few days were rough for me, because I was used to thinking and doing things a certain way for such a long time, and then suddenly I didn't have to. My doctor and I decided to start on the lowest dose, and then when my period came around I'd take a higher dosage. But it takes a lot of getting used to and rearranging your mind.
The answer is YES! YES I want to see more of these videos! It feels like a chit chat with my girlfriends about their dating lives, just missing the wine! Ps. Love your positive attitude, you’re wonderful!
Gurl, thats my anxiety too! Love hearing it from someone else! I am terrified of going to new places/meeting new people. I'm different though, I will get to places like an hour early, will scope the place out and then wait in my car until exactly the time I'm supposed to arrive. But I'm like "omg, what if they don't have AC, I don't know where the bathrooms are, I don't know where all the emergency exits are, I don't know whos going to be there, or if I'll see someone I know..." lol. those thoughts
I've never been a fan of drinks or dinner dates for the first date. I think going out to do an activity like mini golf, an arcade, sports event, etc. Makes for easier conversation and always fun banter especially if you're competitive 😊 I like it too because if it goes well you can go out to eat after and feel like you've already connected earlier so sitting and talking won't be as weird.
I love your channel! You are genuine and so relatable! Please keep these dating videos going... The whole setup is so awesome and helpful with your thoughts, experiences and the get ready with me portion. So YES... Keep them coming!
Oh dude, my friends make fun of me because I HATE meeting people at restaurants that I don’t know the layout of and I always either arrive first so that I’m not the one searching for people in an unknown restaurant OR I have to tell them to describe EXACTLY where they are. It’s a thing.
I love this! Your like the only single young woman TH-camr I watch. You get ready and go on dates. It’s a great video idea. It’s like helping your friend get ready for a date than hearing all the juicy bits after. I ❤️ this so much.
I'm sorry that your date didn't go well! I always love watching your videos, Cassie! I've been watching you for years and I really do feel like I'm listening to a friend. You're so lovely☺💕
my god cassie, i love love love and appreciate that youre so openly speaking about your worries and i can relate so much.. i like my dates when its dark outside cause its making me feel safer to be seen. also i try to avoid my date to look at me from the side cause i hate how my profile looks. it feels so good hearing you talk about everything and it honestly gave me a little confident boost that im not alone getting caught up in my mind with worries other people might not even think about haha. love you and never change who you are, i mean that in all honesty. been a follower for quite some time now and im glad you are kinda part of my daily life 😚💕 all the love from germany my pretty cassie!
You have such a great attitude. I went on plenty of dates that did not work out on a dating app, but after all those bad dates, I had a wonderful first date with my now soulmate. Keep searching for a better half that makes you better!
I enjoyed this video. It’s nice to get ready with you and get a peek at how things went for you. Don’t ever feel awkward about someone’s expectations on a date! That’s THEIR responsibility to handle! You’re responsible for being respectful and generally yourself! I know you already know that, though! 🧡
Okay, this needs to be more of a thing. Idk why but I live these date videos. Make it a series, dating in the 21st century, bumbling thru bumble, idk I'm not the name, but these are fantastic and soooooo relatable. Filming the place (not the guy, I get that) but pulling up to the place, a few sneaky shots, bathroom updates, etc would be so fun, like going with you. I know its alot but how amazing would it be to experience these things with you!
Dear sweet Cassie, try not to be discouraged!! I met my husband online about eleven years ago, and we'll be celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary here soon! I appreciate that you keep us in the loop about the goings-on of your personal life, and it's easy for me to say this over a keyboard but try not to over think things. Guys are pretty simple, obviously that one was straightforward as well (thankfully he didn't waste your time!). We are all rooting for you girl! lots of love your way!!
You should not put such big expectations on it. Keep the L word out of your mind and just think you’re maybe going to make a new friend, the see what happens down the road. I’ve done dating apps and learned that I shouldn’t go into it thinking this might be the date I meet Mr Right. I just thought I’m going to meet someone new. Have fun, you’re a catch and you will be fine ❤️
I really enjoyed watching this one and the other GRWM for your dates. You should definitely keep doing this for all your dates!! It would be fun to watch you do the whole GRWM and the nerves of the dating process and then really cool when you finally find the right guy! 🤞🤗 your such a cutie!! ♥️
I remember when I was in my early 20s and went on so many dates just like this -_- I do not miss it and I'm so glad I'm out of that world now. Just know that one day (probably when you least expect it) you'll find the one and it won't be hard and it won't be awkward. Just keep in trying and keep doing you in the meantime!
Omg, same. It's a problem! Like, my hair will be saturated with sweat and other people will be freezing. It's my #1 thing I don't like about myself. Ugh! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I love these videos so much! I've never related to anything so much in my life. I admire you for putting yourself out there and going on the dates even when you're nervous, and for never changing your standards when it doesn't click. One bad date can be enough to give up on the whole idea of it. If you can't find someone that wants to stay and play the games, what the heck is the point?!
Cassie, I loved this video and can relate so much!!! I have been there and have my own funny tinder nightmares to account for. I quit apps like that in 2016 and decided I would simply allow destiny to do its thing. It was difficult but when I least expected I met the love of my life through an old friend in a disco (of all places, right?!!! Proper thought he would be a psycho but I was wrong) Never lose hope - like my mom says there is a lid for every pan 😊 lots of love for you! ❤️
Gemini sister unite!!! You got this Cassie. Just go into thinking that in the end you may have a new friend and if it goes further than that then it's a plus! You're gorgeous.
Ugh Cassie, I feel like you and I are in the same boat. I meet tons of good guys but we just don’t click OR they just want the sexy time. It’s discouraging for sure, so much so that I’ve eliminated myself from the dating game for a while. Who knows though, maybe the right guy will come out of no where and sweep us off our feet one day? I enjoyed this video a lot and look forward to more. Our humor is literally the same. 😂
That location seems totally fun! Idk why this was so relaxing to listen to. Can you talk a little but about your past with dating? As much as you're comfortable with, I just feel like it would be very entertaining
Thanks for being so open about what you want from a partner. I feel like women are always under pressure to say things like "I'll give anyone a chance as long as they're nice! :)" or risk being called overly picky (or worse). Never mind long term compatibility, interesting conversations, physical chemistry...
dude. I'm not the only one... I'm truly going thru everything you are right now. trying to find the love of my life through apps.... absolutely will not bring someone/go home with someone on first date because I'm actually wanting a long term relationship. I felt everything you've spoken about. WHY IS IT SOOOO DIFFICULT TO FIND THAT SPECIAL PERSON!?😫 I'm nearly 30 and have no children. im starting to feel very discouraged and lonely... great video. loved it.
You look GORGEOUS!! MY FIRST DATE WE BOTH CHOCKED UP AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING TO TALK ABOUT. I didn't think he liked me but he called me back next evening. I met him at a club when I was dumped by a different guy because I didn't want to go back to his house. Funny how this works. Been married since 1981. My son is 32. Cassie you are a CATCH. You just gotta get through all the toads out there.
That Pink Moda foundation brush is one if my favs, better than most my high end foundation brushes even. You need to relax and get rid of the boxes. See if you like them first before putting them through the ringer.
You look stunning! I met my girlfriend on a dating app and i consider myself lucky, what are the chances...right?... I wish you luck and happiness as well my dear.
I met my husband on plenty of fish. We've been together almost 9 years. I wouldn't consider myself too lucky, though. My twin met her boyfriend on match. They've been together 5 years now and have 2 beautiful little girls together. In the world we live in these days, it's harder to meet people organically, but we have more access to a greater diversity than our ancestors.
@Kelz Is Here I completely understand. POF has kinda gone a bit downhill as far as I have heard. It seems to be a place people now go to for hookups, like Tinder. No reason to be ashamed, though. I bet some people would be surprised by just how many love connections have actually come from online dating.
Being a religious person myself, you blew my mind when you said you seek out people who aren’t religious. I don’t know why but I had never thought about it from that perspective. I so appreciate you for opening my eyes
I so get it Cassie, been there a few times myself. I am glad you didn't fall for it this time. Thank you, Next girl. You are a wonderful human being and you deserve someone better xoxo sending you all the positive vibes!
My mom always told me that you should never look for someone, the right person will come to you. And as a single mother of 2, I am afraid to date, you don’t know who’s out there. Always be careful when you go on dates, Carry pepper spray just in case.
I started off like 'no, Cassie, put corrector on your spots, then lightly powder, then you've gotta pat foundation on with a sponge so as not to disrupt the concealer/corrector. Then concealer, then powder'. Sorry, that's just my makeup OCD. But then i totally relaxed, identified and empathised with everything you thought, felt and were experiencing. But the best part for me was talking to the camera in bed. I was doing the same thing, feeling the same way at the same time. Also, every woman who's ever dated a guy was nodding their head with you at the end. Great video Cassie. Thanks for sharing. Keep your chin up girl. He's out there for you!
Katrina 1 i’m an atheist and dated a christian guy for 3 years, none of our problems stemmed from our religious beliefs either! as long as there’s mutual respect i don’t think there has to be problems
I can so relate to this!! That fear of not knowing and not being in control. Thanks for sharing this anxiety diary. Hope you will keep doing this--it really helps to hear someone else talk about anxiety and first dates in such a candid way. :)
You need to RELAX Cassie. Tell yourself that (ITS JUST A DATE) . Don't stress about it so much. At the very least its someone to have a meal and conversation with.
Tina Podratz while I imagine your intentions are good, telling someone with anxiety to relax is like telling someone with a cold to stop coughing. Not helpful at all.
There are literally thousands upon thousands of guys out there who would absolutely love to be with you. It’s true that once you stop looking, the one will show up out of nowhere...so let em come to you and in the meantime, live life for you ❤️☺️
a lot of people knock dating apps. Trust me I went YEARS shifting through the strange & gross on all the apps known to man. but the very day I was going to give up forever, I met my boyfriend on one. tomorrow it will be a year together. I never thought I’d get someone to want to stay with me a month let alone one whole year! it will happen! I know it’s a bummer a lot of the time when things seem dark. keep your head up, I’m rooting for you Cassie!
YES more dating chronicles!!!! Thank God I never had to be in the dating world during these times....its rough out there!!! You'll find ur match Cassie don't worry!
i get anxious about being late so I get to places like half an hour early. I arrived to my college class on the second week an hour early and I saw that there was already a guy in the class waiting. I looked at him and thought "he's a loser just like me, I need to befriend him." We've been dating for five years lol. It'll happen Cassie, I promise!
BrendaFOBRocks love your story ❤️
Super cute story ❤️
@@norma2542 aww thanks!
@@Textbook000 thanks guys
BrendaFOBRocks haha that’s adorable!
Suggestion for 1st dates: Shift your focus on the other person. Imagine he feels nervous and awkward and you have been asked to help put him at ease, or help him have a nice time. Now that your head is filled with empathy and trying to be helpful, there’s less room for your own anxious thoughts. 💜
wow thats great advice!!
That is awesome... for any situation... making a friend too
Yes super advise!
I kinda always do this low key lmao thanks though it’s a great advice! 👍
Empathy is great, but it doesn't pay the bills and doesn't make a man a gentleman. This guy was a jerk. He wanted drinks and sex. I have zero empathy for someone who thinks I can be bought for $20.
1. Love the format
2. Loved that lip color on you
3. LOVED that you informed us how it went within the same video!
I just love you, Cassie! Shades of Angelina Jolie with beauty and sweetness overload. Love your honesty. I long for the day we hear about your wedding. ( It WILL happen) and my 65 year old self will be super thrilled for you.💖💖

Valerie Hix ridiculous Midwest dating 😂 that’s amazing
She is her person
First date:
Guy: "wanna go back to my place and watch a movie?"
Me: "STRANGER DANGER!!!!!"
🤣 that's what I would think too
Men are so clueless.
Honestly same.

I know I was insulted by that. And for someone who does TH-cam she ask a lot in a man who works.
That's super interesting!!! I'm surprised both of you weren't put off by it in the other. Very respectful 😊
I’m so proud of you. A person like yourself deserves much better. And let’s appreciate how well this red pimple was covered meticulously 🙏🏻
so why not look at first date as interview for a friend and then if a spark thats great!! otherwise might gain a cool friendship!
Stacy Starz hey this advice actually helped me. Thank u !
Stacy Starz I love this! I’m going to try it.
Or not like an interview at all ...
It sounds like that is what she's been doing. But you can't if he has different intentions.
I’m really loving these type of videos! Cassie is our Carrie Bradshaw
Except 52 times more relatable. I don't have any friends as whiny as Carrie Bradshaw 😒 I love SATC tho
After being married 25 years I will die an old hag with her pets before I date again. You are much braver than I. ❤
I was just about to comment the same thing! I've been married for 20 years and my first actual real date was when I met my husband. I wouldn't have a clue! I get anxious just meeting new people!
@@shannap9246 Yep. We met when I was 16 so I've never really been on an actual date!
Same! I've been with my hubby for 32 yrs since I was 16 (married for 29), and if god forbid something happened where I was single again, there's no way I'd be going thru the whole dating nightmare.
I have been divorced for 12 years and my last long term was 5 years ago.....I sooooo want to be in a stable relationship in my later years....but dating is not what it use to be for me 🤷♀️I would say I have given up 💋
Same!!!!
Gurrrrl, I LOVED this video & you looked really cute even if the date sucked. I'm glad you were brave & put yourself out of your comfort zone to try even if it didn't work out. Don't give up & keep being your wonderful self because someone is gonna see your worth & snatch you up. Thanks for sharing your life with us❤❤❤
I had a seizure on a first date once (I have epilepsy). We've been together for nearly seven years ;-)
I met my husband on a dating site, I really wasn't into it, my friend at the time kind of blackmailed me into creating a profile because she didnt want me to go back to my ex, and this was her way of saying just see what's out there. We fell in love quite quickly lol
You look stunning, Cassie!
Xoxo
Don’t give up Cassie someone really special needs to come along to deserve you fig and gal xoxo
Sending love and hugs.
please keep doing these :) i will forever watch them!
I also met my husband on POF and we've been together over five years! ❤️
As a Grandmother, I’ll say it. There’s a lot of jerks out there🤣. You’re such a kind soul you’ll find someone..
Argghh
Driving anxiety does not help
Love this video!! It’s like hanging out and chatting with a great girlfriend.
"and there will be no going home afterwards" My first thought was... OMG YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HIM?!? lol
LMAO definitely not what I meant XD
@@thriftthick I've been watching too much true crime youtubers ;)
I understand how anxious you feel Cassie, even going somewhere you don't know. I used to go to the library to study with a friend and if she arrived first I'd have her text me exactly where she was sitting before I go in 😂 I love your videos, and about this one I love how open you are about your personal life. I struggled a lot too but finally met someone wonderful, and I'm sure you will too. Stay positive 😊
I've been single 18 years, I'm 39. *sigh* So envious of your first date, anxiety and all.
Girl, SAME HERE. Sweating sucks.
Lol I still remember when i went on a date with my now husband 8 years ago, he asked me if i was sweating because i had some shimmer fallout under my eyes lol 😂
But i totally understand the sweating thing. I sweat when anxious/nervous or flustered.
Lexapro helped me so much! I’m off it now but I wish you the best!!
I used to take Lexipro. First time I realized how great life could be without anxiety. I switched over to cbd oil, but Lexipro will always have a special place in my heart.
Amanda Marie Nehez did u have any panic attacks in the beginning? I’m just wondering because I’ve been on it 2 weeks and I’ve had 2.
This is a TH-camr that actually listens to their subscribers. Amazing. Love you so much Cassie!
Woah woah please do not go into first dates with the expectation of love.
Yep totally agree
I couldn’t be bothered any more I love being single I love the freedom to do what I want to and not having to put up with any crap x
Would like to see you get fully glamed at ulta or sephora :)
I really enjoy hearing real life stories like this.
Please please make this a series! Loving theseeee!!! Yay!! And Cass, you looked beautiful for your date. As always!!! 💕💕💕💕💕
I enjoyed this video. It’s nice to get ready with you and get a peek at how things went for you. Don’t ever feel awkward about someone’s expectations on a date! That’s THEIR responsibility to handle! You’re responsible for being respectful and generally yourself! I know you already know that, though! 🧡
You looked gorgeous! Any guy that just wants to “hook up” isn’t worth it! Don’t get discouraged.
I would watch any of these videos. You looked gorgeous.
PLEASE make this into a series and review all of your dates.
I really enjoyed watching this one and the other GRWM for your dates. You should definitely keep doing this for all your dates!! It would be fun to watch you do the whole GRWM and the nerves of the dating process and then really cool when you finally find the right guy! 🤞🤗 your such a cutie!! ♥️
its so important that you know what you want! I love that you talked about that.
She’s like seriously some of the VERY few on TH-cam that is real. Your beautiful inside and out!
I sweat INSANELY bad. I know the feeling 😭😭💜
Proper thought he would be a psycho but I was wrong)
Never lose hope - like my mom says there is a lid for every pan 😊 lots of love for you!
girl don’t worry you will find someone that will check off your boxes and more :’) ily btw and we are all here for you
That location seems totally fun!
WHY IS IT SOOOO DIFFICULT TO FIND THAT SPECIAL PERSON!?😫
I'm nearly 30 and have no children. im starting to feel very discouraged and lonely...
great video. loved it.
I really like this!! We get the full story! Lol all the tea!! It’s like girl talk but more than makeup
First, you're so gorgeous girl! Second, your demo of the paper flapping at the window...I died!
Yeah you take one look at them and realize...the light is on but nobody's home ! Love this video and love you.
@@amelianowak267 the well known Tinder, but since I'm not from usa it's a bit different, a bit.. 😅❤
Dating= gathering data... Just have fun.. And don't give up the cookies!! Lol
BAAAAHAHAHA
Rachel Jones ok sis
I so get it Cassie, been there a few times myself. I am glad you didn't fall for it this time. Thank you, Next girl. You are a wonderful human being and you deserve someone better xoxo sending you all the positive vibes!
"You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince" 😉 Fun video Cassie! Hope to see a successful date video soon!
make this a series! loved that you followed up! :)
My mom always told me that you should never look for someone, the right person will come to you. And as a single mother of 2, I am afraid to date, you don’t know who’s out there. Always be careful when you go on dates, Carry pepper spray just in case.
I really love your grwms, it's especially nice to listen to them while getting ready myself ☺️
Yesss! I’m so happy you’re doing this video
I was in A relationship with an atheist for 9 years, I’m very religious. There was no issue
Katrina 1 i’m an atheist and dated a christian guy for 3 years, none of our problems stemmed from our religious beliefs either! as long as there’s mutual respect i don’t think there has to be problems
I am a religious person it is about respect. Sometimes when she speaks she has none.
It’s true that once you stop looking, the one will show up out of nowhere...so let em come to you and in the meantime, live life for you ❤️☺️
I couldn't imagine dating now a days. I met my bf on Myspace dating myself I know lol we've been together for 11 years. You'll find someone.
Jessie Lamberta right? I met my husband on a dating website and we've been together 10 years. It's crazy how different things are LOL
a lot of people knock dating apps.
Way to explain your nerves and how they're not peoples typical concerns for this type of situation. I could totally relate to that.
27 minutes? YES
hope you enjoy every minute
Hell, I know I did!
