It's refreshing to see the Ellis pallette finally get the flowers it deserves! Every single review I've watched has had influencers ranking this mid/low and making the exact same joke every time this appears. "It's a COFFEE TABLE!" (pause for laughter). Not everybody is an influencer with hundreds of palettes so just the almost-gleeful mocking of it... oof! Everyone is welcome to their own preferences, I get it. The mattes and perfect, the shimmers are perfect, and this shade coverage is fantastic for a lot of people not just makeup artists.
Just to add to the discussion… I only have 6 palettes, but I would still never get this. It’s overwhelming and I find it to be uninspiring. There’s no color story. So, you don’t have to be an influencer to not like it. Yes, I’m sure the quality is superb, but it’s not for me. And that’s okay. We’re all entitled to our own opinions.
As a makeup noob who only really wears natural looks, the Ellis palette is an aspiration 😂😂 Huge, yes, but every shade soooo vibrant and unique... One day, I’ll be good and brave enough to use something like it…!
I like using the neutral bottom right row in the Ellis palette with one pop of color in the inner corner. It’s a nice way to incorporate bright colors just a bit! Hope you get to try this amazing palette sometime :)
I appreciate your appreciation for the Ellis palette! So many put it down based on size. However, for someone who doesn’t plan to travel with it and didn’t have a rainbow palette, this is the best one. It was the first rainbow palette to ever tempt me. I love it so much, especially the stellar shimmers!

I’m glad you’re giving it some love, Annette 🥰 In every “2024 palette ranking” I’ve seen, it’s been put really low, mostly due to the creators feeling like it doesn’t “add much” compared to the Blends palette and the size. I just feel like the palettes should be reviewed/ranked as standalone palettes and not based on how they “add to your collection”, as most people don’t have a collection of all palettes from a brand or a massive collection like beauty content creators. It’s like it had a massive disadvantage, since everyone reviewing it already owned and loved the Blends. I’m really considering picking it up when it’s available again ❤ Also, much love from this Norwegian who also moved abroad (although only just across the pond to Denmark)! 😅🇳🇴
BPerfect also mastered big palettes with the carnival collection. These are all amazing. Also P.Louise and BeautyBay do really good jobs with their big palettes.

Hi Annette...dry eyes lovely! I struggle with mine watering all the time, an eye specialist told me it's because the eyes are super dry and overcompensating by creating more fluid.. moisturising eye drops 3x a day has helped mine massively

I knew DeDe Signature was going to be one of the top 2. I thought perhaps your #1, with the way you spoke on it and all? I did order the pallet on launch day but somehow I don't know some of the orders got pushed back or something & I'm not getting mine until January sometime, which breaks my heart.🥺 I was hoping to utilize it as a Christmas palette because that is how it is marketed, but it is SO versatile I'll still be able to get tons of use from it I'm sure! I will say I did not see that first choice coming. Probably because I forgot about the actual pallet itself! I don't own it it's just way too big for me! I know ranking these pallets mean a lot but I have to say, all the looks you do, regardless of the pallets you use, are AMAZING! It's been a heck of a year and I am so happy that I follow your channel! I just wanted to say please have the happiest most joyous of holidays! I haven’t worn a ton of makeup this past year because of some health stuff so I just ordered from Blend Bunny and Ensley Reign for the first time during the holiday sales. I’m getting Lure today!! I’m so excited. Ellis looks beautiful too but huge and the shades in the Lure palette just got me! Oh, and it was on a great sale so I finally ordered and I can’t wait to try your favorite brand! Both are nice choices. I want to see a color story with more purples. Wasn't enthusiastic over ND Roxa or Bella Beaute Bar's collab. I bet Dede can come up with something good. Those formulas look amazing. Blend Bunny discontinued that Pretty Grunge palette or whatever it's called, and that one called to me the most. I'm not into large palettes, but they look awesome in videos!

I think Glamlite is releasing a palette with some purples (The Willy Wonka one). So maybe that one will work for you
