I would like to add something
Bronchitis patients due to difficulty in breathing get fatigued on physical activity & thus become obese and cyanosis makes them bluish, hence called 'Blue bloaters' & Emphysema patients due to decreased recoil of alveoli make extra effort while expiring which makes their face red/pink hence called 'Pink Buffers'.

Why emphysema is clinically presented as Pink Puffer? Someone please explain it in detail..

its actually normal, mean no O2 deficiency

which means there is no cyanosis as chronic bronchitis does. In emphysema there is no change is colour i.e. the colour is normal so called pink puffer
