Those are those who are under 21. Common for clubs in Tx.
Most places that have alcohol being sold in them will mark your hands if you're under 21 so that you can still get in and see a show.

Great recording. This was a substitute show for the 2016 Levitation fest that was cancelled due to bad weather. Sleep played a facemelting gig at Mohawk and then another equally melting of faces the very next morning for all those who couldn't make it the night before.
Im really happy to see Matt more healthier, long live Sleep!

The Mohawk has one of the best PA systems I’ve ever played through. They did it right when setting it up. It’s really not a hard concept but some live music venues will spend massive cash on decorations and computerized smart toilets but the PA system is all Behringer speakers and an old Peavy mixer. Makes no fucking sense.

Peavey made one great console. The RQ 4324C. Prohibitively expensive. The rest of their lines had cheap pre’s and op amps that easily distorted. The mid sweeps did very little and anything under 80hz sounded like a couch fart. Good enough for a band practice or house party.
Not for FOH at a venue. You guys aren’t remembering right, unless you’re just used to shitty sound.
Every time they turn the camera sideways I take a bong toke. I sure hope they were snapping stills when doing that. If not then they were more stoned than me.

I don’t think the quality would be anywhere near good enough for a vinyl or probably even cd. I recorded it with my iPhone, so there’s no high quality audio source.

Sleep has to be one of the most strangest or singular bands: a christian-hunduism-religious-whatever the fuck- long beard bass player. A sort of Lemmy Kilimister playing the guitar and a hipster guy on the drums playing stoner rock. Awesome.

Peter Gašperan They were supposed to play Levitation Festival that day, but it was cancelled a day before it began. They quickly announced this show in place of the festival appearance.
