Dungeness crab season opens in early November and rockfish is currently open, but closes at the end of December. Within that Nov. and Dec. time frame you can crab and rockfish at the same time.
Where's a good spot in half moon bay to drop some pots. I've never crabbed in half moon bay before and you seem to be a pro out there. I would appreciate any advice from you. Thanks...!
So ive got a question, can sports anglers go crabbing and rockfishing at the same time? I had brought a trap along with my rods but i left it behind because i was unsure of the regulations.
Ok, thanks. I didn't realize those were just the "Danielson" type pots. They look a little beefier on the video for some reason. And thank you for having the inspiration to make your series of fantastic videos about San Francisco Bay Area fishing. They're fun to watch and extremely informative.
I miss the late 90"s and early 2k's fishing for albacore offshore sharing information with Bob Franco
Thank you. That's the most informative video I've seen. Hope to find more.

Thanks a lot for great explanations- I'm using it for my Marine Bio Classes on Sustainable Fishing Practices
I saw the Bettencourt website for the 32" pots but where can you get the square/rectangular pots that Bob Franko talked about towards the end ?
