The intellect of mr. Tahir is unparalleled. Such a humble man with such a sense of humour and vast knowledge and mystic-like understanding of the realm we live in. What he says about wheat in this video is spot on and I have found to be true through years of research.

Is there any doubt that food can bring peace to the world? If we all just sat down to an enormous, multi-national potluck where everyone brings something from their country and culture, how could there not be peace? Just talking about their native foods, makes my mouth water.
Tahir Nawab is the most genial, warm person I have probably ever met. Great video..... it's interesting to see those people from a whole other culture try our country's food and offer an opinion. You should have thrown in " If you think this food is interesting... Our country has people in it that believe men can have babies" They would have laughed so hard... would have made for even a better video!!!!!!!!!
It's wholesome and amazing to see their honest reaction to a food that we (New Englanders here in the US) are so accustomed to. I'm happy to see their reactions.
You must offer to them a cousin soup of that one: Corn Chowder, my favorite recipe include : white fish chunks ( no bones) diced potatoes, sweet corn, milk, and salt and pepper. Very simple, delicious too.
Oh man that sounds good, and I feel they would love the white fish more than the clams. Maybe even BBQ the fish till its golden then flake into the soup for a little smokier taste.
Through all the vegetable discussion, I wondered, "are they even going to discuss the clam?" I was NOT disappointed! 🤣 Much love 💜 from Boston, where this food is a famous staple.

Let me explain for those telling me I'm wrong, etc, etc. I once thought I saw a video by them where they say they don't eat shellfish. Usually when they say that, it's for religious reasons for most people. Such as how pork isn't eaten or in places cows aren't eaten. One person said I'm presuming and yes I am because they haven't confirmed it one way or the other as far as I know. I don't know if they did. I haven't seen a video on it yet. And don't harrange me for assuming something. I'm not the only person who has assumed something at one time or another. We are all guilty of doing that about something at one time or another. Frankly speaking, who cares? Such a stupid thing to be upset about that you'd call me on it. Also if I'm wrong about them not being able to eat shellfish then fine. I'm wrong. I don't know because I'm not part of their culture or beliefs. How am I supposed to know? Without the proper information I can only presume on what little information I have. Btw, I don't presume to know what they believe either.

Loved that they were given the opportunity to see how the dish was made with all the ingredients. I cant believe they see clams as maggots! Those are a delicacy in America.
I believe chowder comes from an old fishing vessel tradition to have a pot of hearty soup brewing, and they just keep adding to it as they eat and work. More fish/shellfish, more liquid, more veggies. And by the end of the trip they have this thick, concentrated stew. That's what modern day chowders try to replicate.
"Although it is made with maggots, but tasty" -- Somehow, I don't think they're going to put that on the can or in the tv ads. LOL PS - I'm not sure what the word they're using actually means, I'm assuming this is a translation issue. Maggots are fly larvae that crawl on dead animals.

well it was made traditionally with bacon. hence the comment that they used beef
You mean the video where they used bacon and he tells them its beef?! LMAO HARRRRRAAAAM!
@@BillShartner he said they used beef for the dish, not that what it was in the video
@@BillShartner They don't eat pork so they used beef. Which, is weird, they should have just omitted the beef.
@@Carrietbean Or just eat pork and stop living in 900AD
they all praise the vegetables , and praise them as well as saying profound things of ordinary items. marvelous!! so inspiring! Blesssings on them all!
These men are such a pleasure to watch, they would make wonderful dinner guest. Gratitude to Our Heavenly Father for their foods always.
I’d love to see them have a American thanksgiving dinner with a large turkey
so many more foods that are more appealing etc. Thanksgiving is so boring, everyone knows it by now, probably even them, would rather give them food from ex ussr countries or eastern europe where there is also a muslim population... Plus it's nowhere near thanksgiving season, perhaps in about 6 months but yeah, imho boring content

Finally... I'm so pleased to see you show them how the dish is prepared. Don't really agree with holding out on giving them the information about the clams till the end but at least you told them. Hope to see more of this type of video in the future.
Not even holding out information, he asked what it was and they told him it was beef. I like this channel but that's bullshit.
@@willlazenby1050 I think they were referring to the bacon (when Chaudry asked what meat they were using they were showing a picture of bacon) that is normally in chowder but because they don't eat pork they used beef.
@@willlazenby1050 That was the bacon, which they substituted with beef in the chowder.

The joy and kindness shown by these men is heartwarming
These guys are very insightful about what foods are eaten in cold areas and what not.....Tahir is a bit of a cut-up describing the potato as a gentleman getting along with all the other vegetables and chuckling under his breath! Lol
One of my favorite YT channels out there! Greetings from Las Vegas, Nevada!🖐
I didn't know soup could improve by eating alongside large wildlife!... must try that out!
You have to let us know how it went😉😄😄
I'm thinking New England clam chowder would be great next to whales, on a cold blustery day on the North Atlantic. Hold onto your soup bowl!
@@patriciamorgan6545 Nice!😆❤️
I laughed at that too. Dr Tahir is so funny❤️
At least you will be able to do it once!
I love that you showed them how it is made! I know some of these people go on to make things they try on the show at home, and this must help them make it themselves. Love the look of joy on their faces when they smell/taste it the first time.
No Maggots we’re harmed in the making of this ‘Clam Chowder’ guys…Hah! ‘Happy to say’. So glad they enjoyed it, and it sure did look tasty. Showing how the soup was prepared was a nice touch!
Tahir's advice is something i take personally, i often find it amazing how similar his ideas of nutrition are to my grandmothers, while they may word them slightly differently mostly due to linguistic difference, the message he says is often the same she raised me with. I highly implore you guys to continue eating more traditional and nutritious western dishes, there is so much regional difference in canada vs america vs uk vs france etc in how we prepare and eat our food. same with pakistani and indian food too, so many different regional cooking that makes the world very beautiful!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!. 🙂
You have finally decided to show how the dishes that the boys try are made.
In my opinion it was a step that was missing for a more complete reaction of the recipe ... even from a psychological point of view ... please keep it up 😉
It was done to trick them into eating that, they didn’t show the clams on purpose
I don't care about your conspiracy theory ... I think showing how to cook a recipe before tasting is a better experience..thats it!
If you want a cooking show, there are plenty of channels for that.
As an everyday chef i dont need your fancy channels... are more meaningful the reactions of the "customers".
You can learn a lot from that.
Anyway in your case a couple a bolied potatoes are enought ...right?
@@russianconnection377 ....the host also told them that it was BEEF cooking at the beginning - not BACON ! Beef is not used in clam chowder.
The intellect of mr. Tahir is unparalleled. Such a humble man with such a sense of humour and vast knowledge and mystic-like understanding of the realm we live in. What he says about wheat in this video is spot on and I have found to be true through years of research.
Eating wheat makes you materialistic…?
@@369Sigma if that’s your take home then why not loll 🤣
Absolutely agree...
False health information in every video
His joke about the potatoes not arguing with the other vegetables and the other vegetables being arrested made me laugh out loud 😂
What an incredible analogy.
Every time when he offers the guy behind the camera some of his food first, I know it's probably a religious or regional tradition, but it just makes me smile ear to ear. Every time that guy grins that big goofy smile I can't help but love it.
The innocence and true honesty of trying something completely out of their box… is truly amusing and heartwarming. I’ve come across a few of these and loved them all. I can say I’ve been I their position. Thailand, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, I’ve been tried and tested. But, the best part of trying something new is the experience of the people preparing it. It’s fun, and honest. Than you for sharing
Just to let you know, this channel has quickly become one of my favourites. Big love to all of you, from your friends in England
Thank you so much for showing them the preparation! It is good to provide food, but it is a far better thing to teach it's preparation so one can eat it again!
I am absolutely obsessed with this show ! Thank you and God bless all these people !
So glad that you enjoyed my favorite soup. I used to have the white clam chowder with a grilled cheese. My favorite dinner until my health would not permit it anymore. Love your channel and wishing you a wonderful and prosperous New Year
exactly what my previous suggestion was. thank you for showing them the process of making and letting them get the insight of the food they are eating :) best. and Dr. Tahir sahab what amazing pearls of wisdom !!
I'm happy that they enjoyed it. As a new englander, clam chowder is definitely a comfort food for me. It reminds me of going to the fair in the fall since that was the only place I would really get to eat it as a child.
I went to the Maine state fair as a kid, best chowder and fried clams EVER!
I miss the clam cakes as well
New Englander here as well.. I harvest my own clams. It would be cool to show them how we dig clams . I eat them raw, in chowda , and I make a wicked Stuffie (stuffed clam). As far as chowda goes, I like both Rhode Island and New England. Manhattan, not so much.
Nebraskan here. I have yet to try proper New England-made clam chowder, but it's still a comfort food to me, too. Soooo good!

@@urbanurchin5930 I will.
It’s really cool seeing these guys try things from cultures across the world but I really enjoy their commentary on the food besides how it tastes.
This is one of those foods that I was afraid of as a child until I found out how good clams taste
@Joseph Hunter.......how stupid - - why would you leave the bones out ?? .........Captain Obvious ?
Through all the vegetable discussion, I wondered, "are they even going to discuss the clam?" I was NOT disappointed! 🤣 Much love 💜 from Boston, where this food is a famous staple.
Tahir, I just wanna hug you! I love your sense of humor and disposition. You're beautiful!
This was a good video, loved seeing the reaction to a nonfish seafood meal. Have they ever try'd crab legs? Let us know if any of the team have try'd to make 1 of these dishes at home. God Bless you guys.
Shellfish is against their religious diet so I don't think they can have crabs.

@@SkitSkat674 Clams are also against certain religion's. I don't know their religion or if they all have the same. Clams are ocean filters, waist recycler's , considered unclean i understand. But i don't presume to know what they believe.
@@SkitSkat674 you’re thinking of kosher.
This popped up after 2 months. I don't get notifications for stuff very often.
Chaudhary NEVER fails to make me laugh 😅 especially his faces as he process the taste of new foods 💖
Did I miss the addition of clams into the "clam" chowder? Is it really clam chowder without its main nominative ingredient?
Here I believe: th-cam.com/video/PgC3dKQ-rrE/w-d-xo.html Looks like the chopped clam is on top, right before the spices are added.
Clams and bacon are forbidden ingredients for Muslims!
@@kdgrayson I read that a small minority of Muslim scholars think that clams are not allowed. Apparently there is one clear verse that says that all the creatures of the sea are allowed, but there are differing inerpretations.
Check out the 1:28 mark on the video where they are adding the spices, it shows the clams in the pot at that point but they didn't point it out. FYI Kevin Grayson I believe linked the video with it starting at that point as well but I didn't want it to take me off this page...

@@sharishairi9767 Hey Shari.
It also kept them warm in the cold seas and filled their bellies. What a great discovery it was indeed!
I think that's a great idea to show the preparation of the food to be eaten, not only for the tribal people, but for viewers. Please do more of it!!
These videos are so addictive! I was shocked at the bacon in this one/
